   The people that I’ve seen “cheering” (by voting) lately are the uneducated, the university overeducated and don’t know what to do with that education, other than try to be a rallying point for the uneducated, and the unskilled laborer.

   None of these groups are acquainted with, or seem to care about independent thought separate from that with which they have been indoctrinated, having never been taught the critical thinking process other than striking out at those who disagree with them.

   But, why should an uneducated, illegal, unskilled person from South of the border make any effort to get educated or better themselves in any way when everything is free and an anchor baby means they won’t get sent back to their homeland?

   Right now those groups above all see independent conservative thought and those who hold it as the enemy because you conservatives say if a man doesn’t work, he shouldn’t eat; or if you aren’t willing to fight for your national freedoms you don’t deserve any; or if the wind knocks your house down, it’s not up to the federal government to give you another one; or if your neighbor makes more money than you, he owes you some of it.

   Liberal thought = ‘What’s mine is mine and what’s yours is the governments, and by extension is mine.’

    At least some of us will not be like the European and Russian ready to go quietly. Hopefully we have one more election to stop this-if not other action may be called for.

    Wilson and FDR both had their war time gags in the name of National Security-even when it had nothing to do with National Security. John Kennedy tried to use the Fairness Doctrine to gag opponents. LBJ was doing a fair job of silencing critics until the race riots and Viet Nam War went sour-MSM turned on him. Now we have the Patriot Act which all too many Republicans supported–now Obama can use it on us. Short term thinking. President Obama’s marxism will be much harsher than King George’s tyranny.

    Why do you want to limit access to a few “well chosen” people and groups? Why not totally outlaw lobbying? I don’t know if it would be Constitutional, but it would go a long way toward getting elected officials to focus on those whom they represent. Your stance – outlaw those with who we disagree puts you firmly with the Brownshirts of the 30′s.
