Yes. That is my perception, at least. I think they are “drunk” with their success and are emboldened to push a lot harder. In their minds, if anger got them this far, then more anger will get them farther. Sadly, this is probably true. The bully intimidates because he knows that most people will back down …to a point. Yet bullies are cowards at heart. They’ve learned to cover it up by being loud, pushy and aggressive. Way too often, they are rewarded for their obnoxious behavior. Eventually, someone confronts them, and their house-of-cards collapses.

One hope for conservatism is that the leftists will reach too far too fast, which is evil’s natural tendency, expose their true agenda and be shot down by a surging grass roots response.

I heard a talk radio guy (I think it was Dennis Prager) with an interesting take on why the left is still angry. He said that even though they’ve been given everything they wanted, in terms of political control, that things are not much, if any, better. They thought they could achieve Utopia, but now realize they’re nowhere close to that.
