Obama condemns Muslim attack on Arkansas Army recruiters…not
President Obama announced his choice for Army Secretary this afternoon.
The news isn’t what he said in his statement about GOP Rep. John McHugh:
“As Secretary of the Army, he will ensure that our soldiers are trained and equipped to meet the full spectrum of challenges and threats of our time. And John [McHugh] shares my belief that a sustainable national security strategy must include a bipartisan consensus at home, and he brings patriotism and a pragmatism that has won him respect on both sides of the aisle. I look forward to working with him in the months and years ahead.”
The news is what he left out.
Not a word about the jihadi attack on the two Army recruiters in Arkansas. No condemnation of the heinous attack and senseless violence. No condolences for the families of the targeted men or praise for the military recruiters who have been under increasing attack on U.S. soil. No statements from the DOJ or Pentagon, either.
Nothing.

Why not tell people what is actually happening in the world? We saw this a couple of weeks ago, when the press only gingerly acknowledged that the malevolent though incompetent suspects in the synagogue bombing-conspiracy case in New York were converts to Islam. How is the public served by this kind of silence? The extremist Christian beliefs of George Tiller’s alleged murderer are certainly relevant to that case, and no one in my profession is hesitant to discuss them. Why the hesitancy to talk about the motivations of the man who allegedly killed Pvt. William Long?

What I thought was sad about that news conference is that neither Obama nor McHugh (the Sec of Army nominee) had anything to say about it.
No condemnation of the attack nor any condolences to the victims and their families. Very disgraceful all the way around.
Maybe he doesn’t want to offend his friends, who are busy passing out candy.
…with respect to the earlier “protests” and harassment of USMC personnel at Berkley, this doesn’t surprise me…the GOP, President Bush, John McCain were -as far as I could tell- dead silent about that too…the fact that Obama doesn’t care (unless pressured to) is a given.
It’s the bigotry of low expectations. Followers of the cult of moo-Ham-ed are expected to act like animals.
That is a telling ratio.
Once again the Religion of PIECE(S) strikes. I say piece(s) because that what they leave behind after their cowardly attacks on innocent civilians, especially women and children.
As if we really needed further proof, Obama has done nothing to disprove the fact that when he said on the campaign trail that he was muslim, and that when the s*it hit the fan, he’d stand with the muslim word – he wasn’t guilty of a slip of the tongue.
He WAS telling the truth. For even more proof, take a look at what is happening with our policy towards Israel. Li’l bHo is hanging the Israelis out to dry.
It isn’t just America that’s screwed. It’s the entire free world. Perhaps the entire world period.

What an absolutely pathetic excuse for a leader this country has elected. To allow these events to occur with no public comment whatsoever is a gutless disgrace. God help me, but I’m convinced that our President is nothing more than a bum.
This crime isn’t useful to him. With the Dr. Tiller murder, he could bash pro-life people and help his pro-death backers.
But, the murders at that recruiting center doesn’t help any of his friends and backers. On the contrary, it would help people who were against him.
So, it’s in his best intrest to pretend it didn’t happen.

In the 60s and early 70s –of all times! — we had a health share of military-themed shows on TV. 12:00 High, Combat, McHale’s Navy, Gomer Pyle — a whole slew of them! You were proud, proud, proud! Where are such now in an era where we freed millions from tyranny and starvation? I don’t count “NCIS” and “JAG” because they’re really detective shows in olive drag. Oddly, one of the proudest moments in TV shows that touched me was “Magnum P.I.”’s very last show when the maverick and non-conformist ex-intell officer and gumshoe that he was re-enlisted into the military! Now we have to battle people standing in the way of people who wish to do their duty!

And you will never see Obummer condemn this attack because he’s in thick with the Muslim population and kissing their feet. He cares more about their lives and rights than he does about the lives and wellbeing of our military. His election is another reason why I feel our country has lost touch with reality.
I gave up the illusion a long time ago that this country gave a damn about me or my husband. I’ve seen good military careers ruined and destroyed by PC policies and GS civilians who care more about CYA than about results. I’ve seen the resentment in the civilian community of Hampton Roads, VA regarding the military tit it sucks off of.
There are only pockets of appreciation for the military that I can see. A lot of the support is “symbolic” and makes people feel good but in the real here and now it’s all fake. I hear it from my husband’s siblings (mostly liberals) and my own parents who resent my husband for why we move around a lot. To hear the ignorance from strangers is one thing but your own family is disappointing.
I really don’t trust the politicians and the civilians who say they support our military when our current president can’t find the time to condemn this attack on our own soil. I will get the oh, he’s really busy and doesn’t have time for that. Isn’t this the same man who can walk and chew gum at the same time?
One more side note: have Obummer and Gates ever thought what’s going to result from overly concentrating resources on the Army and Marines at the expense of future engagements and development for the other branches? Modernization needs to occur, especially for the Air Force and these two just don’t get it and never will.
This whole feel good, we support the troops crap by the federal government and it’s willing sheeple is a total lie. Military families and spouses live it and see its impact on a daily basis. Any time the federal government says you’ll get a “free service” or a “promised benefit” that a military member worked for, mind you, it’s either cut, decreased, or paid for by that member/retiree/veteran in the end.
What happened to these young recruiters is attrocious. They’re just another inconvenient side note in the appalling lack of honest conversation of who the assailant was and how under threat military members and their families are, both personally and professionally. The military and their families are under siege in this country.
I’m not surprised by any of this.
What a shame, the Commander in Chief loses one of his soldiers at a recruiting office and he has nothing to say about it. Sadly, this doesn’t surprise me. Does BHO realize the longer this takes, the more absurd it will look when he finally does say something? Who is advising him. I honestly believe that BHO is insulated from any criticism whatsoever. Otherwise, he’d give in to common sense and just release a statement…anything.
In other news Keith Olbermann is blaming O’Reilly for Tiller’s death but iinterestingly, he too has nothing to say on the recruiting office shooting. Maybe he will tonight but I am not holding my breath. Don’t fret-people I really think BHO is one term and done. No one will be able to recover from the disaster that is…the Obama hybrid GM car deathtrap. BREAKING NEWS: the Government rolls out this generations Yugo, loses money,story at 11.

In this case, the first invisible-ink message is, “Hey, they caught the perp, it’s a law enforcement matter.” Remember, there’s no such thing as Mohammedan terrorism, no such thing as jihad. The shooter isn’t bad, just “misunderstood.” Calling him some name like “terrorist” just damages his self-esteem and makes his acceptance back into society more challenging than it has to be.
The second message is, “Hey, they were soldiers, when they get shot it’s an occupational hazard; so it’s no big deal.” Which is liberal polite-speak for, “The got what they deserved.”
And the third message is, “I don’t care.” After all, we can’t let an unwelcome reminder of Mohammedan violence and extremism distract us from our domestic agenda…

I disagree. Carter was the first. Obama is not as subtle so it appears that he is purposefully undermining the USA instead of just being naive and stupid.

What do we have to do? Paint a friggin’ sign on the guy? He’s a manchurian candidate. His agenda is so overt that it is almost impossible to see because it’s so out in the open! Bingo! I felt that way before this socialist got elected. And he had about half a Country of useful idiots to put him, and his minions in Congress in power.
As an American, an Arkansan, and a strong military supporter, I am appalled that the media would even consider ignoring or even briefly mentioning that the shooter in Little Rock yesterday is an anti-military Muslim. I know we have a justice system (as fallible as it is) but I would like to see this guy publicly hanged tomorrow at the State Capitol.
Sometimes I dream that I am a superhero who rises up to combat the evils of liberalism in the media and in the government. Maybe I should get a spider to bite me or irradiate myself with gamma rays. Or maybe I could be visited by the ghost of Ronald Reagan who would grant me special powers. When I see morons like this guy in Little Rock and the journalists who love him, I can feel my skin turning green.
I just sent a message to the White House on their website asking if it was policy that the murder of an abortion-providing doctor was more important and worthy of comment than the murder of an American soldier. I’ll let you know when, and if, I get a response.

Bravo, you are right on. The attack by this jihadist is no different in jihad philosophy than the attack on 9-11. The only difference is the scale. It was a terrorist attack on American soil that killed one American and wounded another. Where the f**k is our President??????????
My deepest sympathy to the families of both of these young men. They are most honorable additions to the ranks of patriots who have given their all for the cause of freedom. I am proud to call them brothers in arms. And, as happens so many times in war, the survivor will be long asking “why was I spared?”
As far as the gunman goes, I noted with interest this morning that the FBI had been investigating him, but had not detained him. Question: does that make the FBI complicit? Or do they get a pass for at least suspecting him?

My nephew, who has done 3 tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan as a Marine infantryman, does recruitment center duty when he takes leave in between deployments. He fights for our country overseas and then fights for our country when he is on American soil.
Whats really sad is that he is a target of Muslims as well as a target of liberals. The enemy of my enemy is my friend, right Obama?

This administration wants the FBI to have a larger role in international terrorism. The FBI claims they targeted this guy since he came back from Yemen. I would like to know what targeting means. Did they show him how to load the weapons, point out the targets? I think the recruiters should be armed and the FBI disarmed. We would all be safer.

The Obama’s failure to condemn the Jihadi Terrorist Attack in Little Rock on June 1st may be the worst example of appeasment by this POTUS imposter since he threw Israel “under his GM bus” just – actually this is a pretty much a daily activity – and since he released the so-called “torture memos” – and on and on, one appeasment after another!

If this isn’t evidence of the Left’s hypocrisy, I don’t know what is. Even when explained in the plainest of terms, they still won’t equate the two stories with the same attention. I can’t think of any instances where in our not-so-distant past, extreme fundamentalist anti-abortionists flew planes into skyscrapers, killing thousands of Americans. This ought to dispel any defense by doubting moderates and liberals. I repeat, ought to. Patty-cake is a game for toddlers, not for grown adults in positions of power. Our enemies know this. Drudge just linked to this ABC News story by Jake Tapper. It reveals that Obama will make surprising admissions about his Muslim roots when he addresses the Turkish Parliament on his current Mideast trip. I’m assuming it won’t be a re-affirmation of his campaign claim of being a devout Christian.
Sorry, Tapper was referencing comments Obama made to the Turkish Parliament on April 6 in his observations that Obama is morphing into more of a Muslim and less Christian as his administration settles in.
