Finally: Obama’s limp statement on the jihadi attack in Arkansas
The White House finally got around to releasing a statement on the jihadi attack against our troops at the Arkansas military recruitment center.
Here is the entire statement:
“I am deeply saddened by this senseless act of violence against two brave young soldiers who were doing their part to strengthen our armed forces and keep our country safe. I would like to wish Quinton Ezeagwula a speedy recovery, and to offer my condolences and prayers to William Long’s family as they mourn the loss of their son.”
“Senseless?” It made perfectly good sense to a vengeful Muslim convert jihadi bent on “killing as many people in the Army as he could.”
For contrast, here is Obama’s full statement on the Tiller murder, issued just hours after the shooting:
I am shocked and outraged by the murder of Dr. George Tiller as he attended church services this morning. However profound our differences as Americans over difficult issues such as abortion, they cannot be resolved by heinous acts of violence.
Caleb Howe is underwhelmed:
“It’s in keeping with the Obama administration’s passive language, such as the euphemisms “overseas contingency operation” or “man-caused disaster” … Obama’s statement on the murder of Pvt. William A. Long is just as passive in voice and blame. He’s not outraged, he’s saddened. Not by someone who committed a “heinous act” but rather by a senseless violence. It might have been a bolt of lightning for all the pushback Obama has to share.
He waits three days and then the best he can muster is an abstract sadness at something that, judging by his statement, might well have been a mere accident of fate…

Pvt. Long’s funeral is set for Monday:
Funeral arrangements have been set for an Army private fatally shot outside a Little Rock recruiting office.
Griffin Leggett Funeral Home in Conway says the family of Pvt. William Long will hold a public funeral at 10 a.m. Monday at the Harlan Park Baptist Church in Conway. The funeral home says Long will be buried at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock at noon Monday.

Hmph. He’s is “shocked and outraged” at the Tiller situation, but only “saddened” about the two soldiers?
Well, at least now we know where his priorities are.
Whadja expect from the leader of one of the world’s largest Muslim countries…
He can’t piss of the muzzlums before he goes over and bows down or bends over to them again can he?
Sounds as though it was written by a low-level staff assistant with as much experience as Brian Deese the car czar, and quickly approved by a busy Obama, who likely is putting the final touches on his latest round of apologies to all Muslims for the sins of the U.S.
Well, at least our enemies know that Obama will be saddened the next time there is a premeditated attack by terrorists against Americans. In fact, knowing that he is sad may even give pause to to those planning the next senseless act of violence. I mean, who would want to see a sad American president, especially one so hip?
I would still like to know the Imam that lead the warrior of allah the moon god to follow Mohamed.
Plus, the Mosque he got is arse in the air five times a day. Like a good pagan.
Well it seems that the Web 2.0 wizards over at the White House still don’t have their act together.
I just searched the entire site over there and this statement is not found by my efforts.
They have a section where this kind of statement is posted normally.
Wonder how long it will take to show up on their website.
In fact I had to use the search function to even find the George Tiller statement that was released.
The site is running behind it seems on it’s housekeeping.
Where is the video of Obama giving this statement? I don’t even believe he said it. Somebody wrote it in response to the public outcry. He was probably even disgusted that some words had to be put together.
This guy continues to push against the levy of the Constitution, which was constructed by The Framers to hold back the evil of the greed and narcissism of the government of those such as him who see the Constitution as a constraint. If nobody will push back to uphold the Constitution then why not continue to push until the levy breaks and the floodwaters are too forceful to stand against?
The list of WTH?! just got longer.

My question now is where exactly will Hussein be during the Friday call to prayers? Will he be lying prone alongside the ‘Keeper of the Mosques’ enjoying “the prettiest sound on earth”, the muslim call to prayers. I hope some disgruntled current or future WH staffer eventually catches Hussein during one of his bendovers one day and shows the world what this guy is all about.
This statement sounds like one of those generic *insert name here* type of statements. It’s doesn’t even reach the level of “contrived” like I thought it would. It only goes to “obligatory”. What a joke of a POTUS.
I sure do hope that is wrong.
But it sure does fit a pattern that seems to be emerging.
Because that’s what a real leader does. The poseur-in-chief has yet to grasp that fine distinction.

Obama’s message of hope and change was supposed to heal the deeps wounds created by Bush around the world. Praising Muslims and ignoring their acts of terror were supposed to make them love us again and make us safer. I guess somebody didn’t get the message:

The FBI supposedly had been watching him, enough to know he had traveled to Yemen and was arrested using a Somali passport.
They must not have been watching him to closely since he managed to get several guns and loads of ammo.

I would think a lot of internal policies have changed since last January.
I was channel surfing and came upon Maddow’s show and I give props where they are due. She gave a good background on the shooter of the Army recruiters, stated that he (the shooter) was being investigated and under surveillance by the FBI and asked some very good questions. She was not accusatory and opined how did this guy have the huge arsenal at his disposal if he was being watched by the FBI joint task terrorism force. That is a good question.
The subject was after a piece on the Tiller murder where she asked why the FBI was not doing enough to investigate the killer after they were informed that Tiller was in a sense being stalked by him. Another good question. I know she is an opinion person, but she seems to do a good job when she is not being partisan. Of course after those segments it was back to partisan shots (I expect that, she is an opinion person), but I had to change the channel.
Nope, no motive at all.
Similar to orders that have been given to our Border Patrol in the past perhaps? I am not saying it is a fact, only that recent history does indicate that it could very well be a possibility to consider.
He is not symbolic of anything I stand for and certainly not symbolic of anything I ever served my country for. I pray for the families of both soldiers but somehow I doubt the
CommanderCaricature in Chief is representative or symbolic of them or their families either.Just my opinion for what it’s worth.
Part of the problem was Senator Mark Pryor, D-AR, was cornered on local radio and gave a personal statement of condolence. At that point, the cat was out of the bag.

Post 1/20/09 National Security Objective – Investigate American civilians who qualify as extremists, as identified by DHS.
What will you bet the lefties will now try to blame the NRA for Obama’s policy?
If I lived in Arkansas, I would sure lean on my elected representatives to put a few very pointed questions to the FBI Director and the AG.

Two soldiers serving under Obama’s command are shot by an enemy of the state, two casualties of war take place on our native soil, but it’s a late-term abortionist’s murder that gets him outraged.

Well I hate to be the wet blanket on this one, and the Messiah’s statement IS weak, but a recruiting station IS a legitimate military target. At least they aren’t blowing up schools yet.

Mr. Obama was NOTHNING’D by the “act of violence” done to those two soldiers. He never gave it a moment’s pause until somebody grabbed him and told him that it was his job to at LEAST say something about it. It didn’t matter to him before he said anything, and no sooner did he say how “saddened” he was about it, that the whole affair slipped into the ether.
This is a man without a soul. My contention is that he gave it away in exchange for the presidency.
Since I never received a response to my question asking if it was White House policy that a slain late-term abortion provider was more important than the murder of a young American soldier and wounding of another, I just left this message on the http://www.whitehouse.gov/CONTACT/ page for the President:

It seems like the stratfor reporting and “senseless violence” dovetail. Maybe the Black Muslim converts are targeted to be non-commissioned officers in the ObamAcorn civilian security force. From one standpoint, it would be “senseless violence” if the shooter’s version of justice would soon be fulfilled.
This is why we need to speak out and not hide our opinion about obama. It not a race thing it’s a leadership thing.
