Rainbows and unicorns and a world without the j-word
I talked for a few minutes about the latest History-Making, World-Changing Obama Speech on Fox and Friends this morning. He attemped to obfuscate his explicit anti-American apologism with a mixture of disingenuousness and naivete totally untethered to reality (including the “7 million Muslims” figure he hyped).
Despite all his supposedly frank talk, Obama insists on hiding behind the euphemism “violent extremism.” It’s not only the “t-word” — terrorism — that failed to pass from his lips. It’s the j-word — jihad, violent jihad — that Obama will not acknowledge. He clings to the myth that only a “tiny minority” of “extremists” subscribe to the deadly Koran-inspired mission to force infidels to submit. He refuses to acknowledge and confront the violent jihadi virus around the world and on American soil.
Even some left-wing progressives choked on all the pretty words.
While Obama basked in shouts of “We love you!,” let’s not forget how the Arab street really feels. Has always felt:

President Obama mentioned the “trauma” of the September 11 jihadi attacks in his speech. Here’s another reality check. Flashback, September 12, 2008, The Blame America poll and the Blame America candidate:
A poll released this week of more than 16,000 people in 17 nations revealed that “majorities in only nine countries believe al Qaeda was behind the attacks on New York and Washington that killed about 3,000 people in 2001.” A mere 46% of individuals overall said they believed al Qaeda executed the attacks – despite all the back-patting, fist-pumping video productions from AQ’s media arm, as-Sahab, claiming credit.
…Seven years after Mohammed Atta, Hani Hanjour, and their Allahu Akbar-screaming team succeeded in slaughtering nearly 3,000 innocent men, women, and children, large numbers of our putative allies in the civilized world are still blaming America and Israel.

Only 33 percent name al Qaeda.” Which, of course, is no shock to those who remember when the U.S. soccer team was taunted with chants of “Osama! Osama! Osama!” after a match in Guadalajara four years ago; or when the team was booed again in 2005 and plastic bags filled with urine were reportedly tossed on American players.
They hate us. They still really, really hate us. And it is not all about Iraq. As a Mexican soccer fan told the Christian Science Monitor: “‘Every schoolboy knows about 1848. . . . When they robbed our territory,’ referring to when Texas, California and New Mexico were annexed to the U.S. as part of a peace treaty ending the war between the two countries, ‘that was the beginning.’”
Not coincidentally, another world opinion poll was released this week that dovetails with the 9/11 survey. While the global community refuses to unite against al Qaeda as a common enemy to humanity, it has decided on who should be America’s next president. The BBC-commissioned poll named Barack Obama the world’s favorite candidate by an overwhelming margin of four to one. They see in their fellow “citizen of the world” a kindred spirit:
Someone whose former spiritual mentor shares the European elite’s “chickens coming home to roost” schadenfreude. Someone who has promoted the need for “empathy” toward the head-chopping jihadists. Someone who shares their fetishizing of terrorists as poor victims of imperialism in need more “understanding” and “education.” Someone who cynically hawks “Buy American” campaign stickers while courting the “Blame America” Left at home and abroad.
Obama is their man. Never forget.

For an individual of supposed astronomical intellect and in-depth knowledge of history this Sock Puppet of a President has no idea what so ever of the History behind the formation of Israel and what happened after. There would not be this so called Palestinian issue if not for the Grand Mufti and the Arab Leagues declaration that all Muslims leave Israel or be declared heretics and considered enemies of Islam. This was a quintessential Obama speech. The big winner, as always, is Obama. He didn’t do it, it wasn’t his fault, and if we just abandon the false choices of the past for his vision, we’re SAVED!!!
He said nothing significant, while sounding like he was speaking from Sinai. Muslims aren’t stupid, and they see that he’s following the same road Bush built, no matter what else he says, with respect to many aspects of the GWOT. One departure I am sure they have noted is the apparent recalibration from war to criminal investigation mode.

Based on Daou’s background as an internet advisor to Hillary Clinton, the agreeing poster was most likely “ilovemycountry.”
He may not have been brainwashed in a POW camp like the Manchurian Candidate but I’m beginning to think he was brain washed in some madrassa while training and nurturing his Muslim roots.
What do we know of Obama? I know, the question has been asked thousands of times before and since the election but has anyone received an answer? He goes out of his way to hide his past, including the blocking of proof of where he was born. He refuses to release his college records to see if he was getting aid as a foreign student. He refuses to release what type of passport he held when visiting Pakistan in the early 80s when U.S. citizens weren’t allowed to visit there.
This man is a gold mine for any serious student of investigative reporting. Who is this man?
Also, before he became popular, I can’t believe two books from someone who did community service and was the President of the Harvard Law Review would become wealthy from the sale of autobiographies of a nobody. Where did all of his wealth come from? The man hasn’t worked a day at what some would call honest, hardworking, labor – even at a fast food restaurant or a grocery store when younger. Community service? Poor and underpaid I would think. An adjunct law teacher? Ditto.

I thought it was interesting too, that he is talking about “higher than average” incomes for Muslims in America, while speaking to nations that hold the most wealth and on whom our economy is dependent.
Income is not the opportunity Muslims seek in America. I would think that personal freedom probably ranks pretty high, as it does for all Americans. That was overlooked in Obama’s remarks, perhaps b/c he’s not in favor of individual freedoms for the “masses.”

One thing I learned a few years ago when I use to post at a Moroccan board is that Muslim’s invented absolutely nothing. They stole and take credit for inventing everything.

I was talking to an Iraqi friend of mine yesterday (he is in the Iraqi Army) and he was asking me why Obama is going around apologizing to everyone about how evil the US is. He told me that this is very dangerous. He said that in the middle east it could be misconstrued as Obama is saying that Al Qaeda is right seeing as he is saying that America is wrong. He fears that this will be used as a propganda recruiting tool.

Just a thought … Could it be that the 7 million figure could have come from something he knows about a border that even swine flu could not close and we know has been used for the passage of terrorists in the past? The statists (how much irony is there in THAT) fantasized a wide-spread assault on civil liberties via the Patriot Act. I am with them on the need to carefully watch the application of such a powerful set of government options, but I have never seen anything IN REALITY that came close to their fantasy.
I think that an effective defense of America is something the can’t abide, way down deep. In the deepest recesses of their beings, they hate America, and feel we have “whatever” coming.
