I thought bear had some good points in that discussion, but making the term “hot” into something way more than it really is was not one of them.

I understand your point, but I agree with bear. I have sons that use the “hot” term in the “attractive” sense, but I too deplore the loss of nuance for the more omnibus “hot”. I like precision in language, and nuance in opposition to coarseness.

Actually, there is a token Jewish seat in the Iranian parliment. Probably just makes it easier to catch one when MA wants a “Swinging Jew” Party.

Now THAT would be like getting “elected” in the sense used in The Magnificent Seven!!!!
