Will Ferrell ruined Land of the Lost

Over at Big Hollywood, Mark Corallo explains how and why his 11-year-old son gave the best advice possible to parents who may be considering taking their kids to see the movie version of Land of the Lost, starring Will Ferrell:
Walk out. Don’t go. It’s gratuitously sexualized crap.
Such a shame. We bought the DVDs of the TV series, my kids loved it, and we had been looking forward to the movie.
Hollyweird strikes again.

Will Ferrell are the only two words you need to see to know that a movie is not worth going to, and definately not one to bring your children to.
Remakes of any legendary tv show will always be disappointing to outright pathetic. I grew up on the Sid and Marty Krofft tv shows like Land of the Lost. To this day I still mouth off Land of the Lost one liners that my friends love to immitate during moments of awkward silence. “Will! Holly! Grab the yellow and green crystals!” “Ta, Sa, quit picking on Chalka”. Or we would shout phrases using words/language created for the Pakuni (Chalka’s tribe)…. Yo So Rissi Takka. I bought the DVD’s they day they were issued. You cannot remake a classic.
