Barney Frank is, supposedly, an adult and an elected official. He walks out on an interview and we can’t criticize him because some people make disparaging remarks about his sexuality? (Which, by the way, the left have no problem with if the target is a Republican)
I keep hearing people say it’s time for “we the people” to do something to stop this madness, “take our country back”. My question is HOW? I’ll do whatever I can do just tell me how. I wrote my senator 3 times one day I was so angry but he is a repulican he really can’t do anything but talk. Get involved at your local level – folks, I don’t think we have that much time.
Why aren’t banks suing the gov’t, auto industry, constitutional lawyers? What is it going to take to stop this administration?

While I’m far from being a Frank fan, I am also fed up with the cable news interviews that don’t let the responders speak for more than 4 seconds without interruption. I’ve stopped watching cable news because of it.

I don’t like Barney Frank, but in terms of civilized debate, this “anchorman/interviewer” is an ass. There’s a reason why Senators are allowed to blather on in Congress… Robert’s Rules of Order have probably prevented more fist fights than anyone can possibly guess.

First – Barney and friends should limit the graft; payoffs; and campaign donations congressmen receive while in public office.
Second, business leaders are asking the Obama administration to limit the compensation of the union executives if they plan on capping management’s pay. I’d add a limit to the amount the unions can give to the Democratic Party too.
(He is predisposed to put it where the sun doesn’t shine, I would assume.) Maybe he will try to combine the two institutions to create a new monstrosity, named Freddie’s Fanny…what a concept for someone who just keeps sticking to the American people, and who thinks we actually enjoy getting screwed this way.

I have to excuse the interviewer here. Listen how Barney is not answering his questions and going on and on not telling the truth. Barney has tried time and time again to misrepresent what happened. He continues to say it was republicans that caused this economic meltdown. No it was him and his former boyfriend who was an executive at Fannie and Freddie. Barney kept saying last summer that Fannie and Freddie are fine when in reality they were ready to implode, which they did. Hey Barney go home and crank up that profit making prostitution service that ran out of your basement a few years back.

what i really want to know is when mr frank and his colleagues plan to rein in the pay and benefits of gubmint workers. i just received my social security notice, and if i take social security and still work, my check decreases. if i stayed in the military, i would have retired nearly 20 years ago with a pension larger than my ss check, and would be nearing my second retirement from the same employer as i would do the time honored morph from military to postal worker. so why doesn’t that diminish their pension when they are working for the same folks? rein that in barney.

Sort of a fine line in an interview. If a guest starts to give a speech, then you must interrupt. But actually I couldnt even get a firm idea of the exchange because they constantly talked over each other.

I thought the interviewer was great. I’ve seen Barney interviewed before and he is obnoxious, overbearing and doesn’t allow anyone else to get a word in edgewise.
