The more Jeremiah Wright opens his mouth, the more he sounds like…well, James Von Brunn. Or vice versa.
Sammy Benoit points to the new “clarification” of Rev. Wright’s “Them Jews” jibe:
Yesterday President Obama’s former religious mentor the Rev. Jeremiah Wright said “Them Jews Aren’t Going to Let Him [Obama] Talk To Me” Today he corrected himself. When Interviewed on “Make it Plain” with Mark Thompson, he said I didn’t mean ALL Jews just Zionists.
Ohhhhhhh. Well, that clears things up!

Wright then criticized Israel, saying, “I quote Jews when I say this,” and referencing books by Jewish authors such as “Judaism Does Not Equal Israel: The Rebirth of the Jewish Prophetic” by Marc Ellis and “The Ethnic Cleansing of Palestine” by Ilan Pappe.
“I’m talking about facts, historical facts,” Wright said. “I’m not talking about emotionally charged words or the fact that like Jimmy Carter’s book, that because he used the word that Jews use, ‘apartheid,’ he gets labeled anti-Semitic.”
“They can jump on that one phrase if they want to,” Wright said, “but they can’t, they can’t undo history. They can’t undo the facts of Jewish historians and Jewish theologians who write about what’s going on, who write about the enormous influence that AIPAC has on our government and on United States policy and the United Nations.”
(Wright did not identify who “they” was.)

I have read Wright’s rant above 3 times–could someone please interpret & let me know whathehell he’s talking about?!

Two related things that black culture in this country must overcome someday are its clinging to a cult of victimology and the fact that they have more than their share of anti-Semites.
As long as they refuse to relinquish these security blankets, they’ll keep holding themselves back.
The trouble is, a white guy like me will never be able to close that particular sale; and most of those who pass/pose as black “opinion leaders” are wedded to keeping those two characteristics alive.

Given that Obama professes to be a student of history, yet knows almost none, I suspect that Wright was his instructor.
“That guy’s” name is a no-no. I tried using it in a post some months ago and it kept getting rejected. I finally began submitting my post piece by piece and, voila!,”that guy’s” name was the culprit. As for Rev. ‘Von Brunn’ Wright, he’s a lower life-form racist who used his cult pulpit only to enrich himself at the expense of his ignorant followers.
The difference: Reverend Wright (his appropriate title) didn’t shot anyone.

Oh, yes, the Rev. Wright did tell the truth when he once again opined that Obama “does what politicians do.” Obama’s expression of shock and sadness over the shooting came across as sincere as the greeting of a funeral parlor director.

I think it is a safe bet that the superannuated Larry King will rush to Wright’s defense. I expect Wright to appear with the somnolent Larry next week. This is the same thing that Louis Farrakhan did way back in 1984 when he made virulently antiSemitic remarks and wished for a softball interviewer. He found one in Larry King, who was something of a dimwit even in 1984. Farrakahn went on King’s show and fulminated against Jews and repeated his slur that Judaism is “a gutter religion”. He then referred to King as Mr. King. King responded by ignoring the antiSemitic garbage spewing from Farrakhan’s mouth. Instead, King begged Farrakahn: “Please Louis, call me Larry”. I don’t watch King very much (his ratings are somewhere below CSpan 11) and it is possible King already had Wright on for a softball interview. But heck, Wright’s views about Israel are pretty close to what Tom Brokaw believes so maybe King will have Brokaw as a guest.
