Bloomberg hearts ACORN thugs

NY ACORN head honcho Bertha Lewis plants one on NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg. Next time, get a room.
Big Nanny NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg loves the left-wing zealots at ACORN.
Anita MonCrief reports on the long love affair in the Hot Air Green Room:
Bloomberg’s relationship with ACORN spans a number of years and goes back to when Bertha Lewis, ACORN’s CEO and Chief Organizer, was the Executive Director of the New York ACORN. Though Lewis and Bloomberg have engaged in the occasional street theater, they have managed to push through lucrative deals including the highly controversial Atlantic Yards project. A deal so financially lucrative to ACORN that it earned Bloomberg a kiss on the lips.
And the New York Post editorial board today spotlights “Mike’s favorite thugs:”
The ongoing Senate circus in Albany is pure farce at its most absurd, but at one point this week, things turned downright ugly.
On Thursday, some 150 protestors — many of them from the thuggish far-left group ACORN — turned up outside the Senate chamber and actually assaulted members of the Republican faction.
The demonstrators nearly knocked to the floor Sen. James Alesi (of upstate Monroe County); they also spat in the face of his chief of staff, according to published reports.
Not only was this violence uncalled for, the ACORN crowd shouldn’t even have been there in the first place: The Senate lobby is a restricted area, and public protests are explicitly prohibited.
Caution: Big Government/welfare state bedfellows at work.

I would file assault charges against these people and demand they be hauled off to jail.
L
Isnt just bloomberg.
The CEO of ACORN was on huffingpuff touting how she has 13 big city mayors in her pocket.
These people have to be stopped.
That will not be easy. In fact, it will be quite difficult.
It can be done, however.
The mental image of where those lips and tongues may have been is the thing that nightmares are made of.
I wouldn’t doubt the mayor of Memphis is in her pocket. Actually, knowing old Willie, it’s probably more like joined at the hip.
Where was the Senate security? Who told them to stand down? The police? Regardless of that, if those Republicans who came under attack do not force action to be taken against those putrid ACORN animals then they are not worthy of the seats they hold.
Were some ACORN thug to spit on me, I am afraid my oil field antecedents would kick in, and I’d just naturally stomp them into the carpet.
Then I’d see if some DA would like to charge them with assault…
Wow… looks like a scene from “Guess Who’s Coming to Vote Fraud”
Don’t read too much into that pic, because that’s how Bloomie personally inspects each New Yorker to make sure they haven’t been smoking or eating trans-fats.
In response to a story about Ahmadinejad’s supposed landslide victory, a viewer in Florida twittered “Fox and Friends” this morning that he didn’t know ACORN had branch offices in Iran. (Well, at least I thought it was funny.)
Yuck!
But think of the Swine Flu… Oh, the humanity…
Mayor on Bertha ACORN’s list
Opps sorry had some names in there more than once
O/T:
Did anyone catch Bill O’Reilly hand Joan Walsh her hat last night on the “Factor?” It was awesome! (Hot Air has the video!)
*New York will soon follow California into the abyss, followed by Michigan; The Red State-Blue State divide grows larger; Here in Red State Tennessee, we are very observant of the trend, and don’t have any plans to follow that path; We feed Acorns to the hogs.

In the Hmmm…category for a Saturday afternoon.
That picture should have the following caption: Love Democrat Style.
Does anyone even know Bloomberg’s politics anymore? First he was a Dem then a Republican then an Independent. I’d get a stiff neck trying to follow his political thought process at work.
Yes, I did DBNinKY. People knock O’Reilly for being a blowhard (which he can be at times and I watch because at least he puts these powerful people’s feet to the fire) but that interview was a sight to behold. It really exposes the lack of basic honesty about why liberal women support abortion and the little half-truths (or frankly lies) they tell themselves to make the support palatable.
The very fact that he asked her three times if late-term babies should be given protections and she couldn’t answer it until up to the last minute she basically said that late-term babies should still be aborted was really amazing. Then she inserted how she knows all these women who had late-term abortions because of cancer or “crisis” (oh, really Joan?). And yet it won’t scar them for life or is okay because it’s “legal.” Anything can fall in line of jeopardizing the life of the mother. That’s the little loophole for those who support late-term abortion.
Interviews with Bill O’Reilly are never dull. He was getting noticeably upset. However, Walsh could see that the interview was getting away from her so she put up the assertion that if abortion should be illegal than so should guns. That’s when it all fell apart for her. I didnt’ know that the 2nd ammendment was now “illegal.” Apparently, Joan thinks it should be.
Hey, Joan, perhaps sex should come with a warning label: this might make you pregnant.
Sounds like another “big tent” special interest group the “new Republicans” should be snuggling up to. They sure got a great response to their suck-up efforts with La Raza. God forbid they return to their conservative roots. Better to slink off into a dark corner and sulk.
Obama has made it perfectly clear that his administration has no problem using racial violence against anyone who opposes or might oppose his rule. This is the real deal, folks. National socialism is here, its growing, and these kinds of incidents are going to spread and get worse. Much worse. Think that an economic catastrophe would mean the end of the Obama administration? Dream on. Could Republicans mount a strong campaign against these kinds of attacks and actions? And I thought I had fantasies. Yeah, they could but they’re race pussies. Speaking of which, imagine a statement from Michael Steele (he won’t say anything, of course, but run with me on this):
“While these kinds of isolated incidents are regrettable, they have only come about because of the ugly attacks by Rush Limbaugh and the Nazi-like activities of the Republican Party. I urge everyone on the Right to refrain from saying or doing anything that might provoke these kinds of incidents . . . .” And so forth.
There may well be elections in 2010 and beyond, who knows?, but I can say with absolute certainty that the democrats are going to do everything and anything they can to make them as meaningless as elections in Iran.
criminals taking care of criminals, looking at the two love birds, didn’t know crap could be stacked that high.
almost like watching wild kingdom
After Chafee (independent)and Specter (democrat) finally morphed into what conservatives all knew they were, I’m not sure who the biggest RINO is today: Bloomberg? Ah-nold? Snowe? Collins? ____??
That tent is going to have to be the size of New York to fit in the LaRasa an ACORN.Not to worry the RINOs will get them in!
Heh. I just happened to come across this today, from the Working Families Party, a front group for the oh so civilized ACORN thugs:
In 2009, WFP supported New York State’s newly increased “millionaire’s tax” on the income of individuals earning $500,000 or more per year. When New York billionaire Tom Golisano (whose tax liability rose to $13,000 per day as a result of the tax hike) announced that he would be moving to Florida (which has no state income tax), WFP Executive Director Dan Cantor Called Golisano’s move “selfish.” “It’s a disgrace,” said Cantor, “that this is how he pays back the state where he was presumably educated and that’s been so good to him. Taxes are the price you pay for civilization.”
Okay guys, these people are emboldened…and it is getting scary out there! My hairdresser told me that she is hearing from her many teacher clients that their black students have become cocky and disruptive since BO took office. Michelle Bachman reports that the House leadership has also become brazen in their behavior and are proposing items that would have been unheard of in the past! I heard from a fellow SMIA member that some economic bloggers are being targeted by Eric Holder & the inJustice Dept., including being supoenaed to testify in congress committees if they’ve mentioned auditing the Fed, etc.
I feel like I am watching my country disappear before my eyes.
Gag!
Or as be stated before, “Oh, the humanity!”.
Swine flu in-coming!!.
Jake
That picture gives new meaning to ‘ Tongue in cheek ‘
It was bad before since there’s basically little to no consequence for disruptive behavior anyway, but I will tell you that it has gotten worse. It’s the “my president is black” attitude on steroids.
Bloomberg is the face of Colin Powell’s “Republican Party.” They are the main reason why it is well on its way to going the way of the Whigs…
Hate to correct you, but Michigan as been in the Abyss for at least a year and a half. NY and CA are following US.
ACORN needs to be taken down from the inside out, if you catch my drift.
*Yo: You’re right in a way, but I’m speaking of implosion caused by state bankrupcy, a plague that will descend on California in July; Hurricane Jenny has put Michigan on that path for sure.
Jenny is an imbecile, so naturally the Obama administration has such high regard for her…
this horse’s arse of a mayor recently overturned our term limit laws (which voters voted for twice!) in a sneaky deal with the city council so that he can run for a third term. he claimed that only he can get us through these tough times. these control freaks all need to be term limited and then thrown into a volcano when they’re done! no more lobbying, no more profiting on the backs of hard working people. good bye and good riddance.
If the fools in NYC re elect this TransFat Czar they deserve him.
There is too much emphasis on United and not enough on States-but this fool is already trying to run the whole country.
Then bloomberg must go. Maybe Hannity can run against him. That would be fun to watch.
I’d absolutely LOVE to know the rate at which the wealthy are moving out of NYC in droves. Does anybody have any figures on that?
The time has come to say no more. I contact my local/state/federal representatives and tell them I am tracking their votes and will inform my community on where they stand. I am trying to figure out how to get a website for local purposes. I am now receiving calls from elected officials wanting to know when I get the site up. They are scared of an informed public as well they should be. NO MORE!
The mainstream media described the meeting as cordial, but word has it, that Lewis gave Bloomberg a thorough “tongue lashing.” Ew-w-w-w!
With all that brown-nosing coziness she elicits from the “in crowd,” he should be more than a little worried about where that mouth’s been…but then again…?
Bloomberg is probably an atheist, doomed to the Lake of Fire.
As for prosecuting these people, look to the Philly voter intimidation case as the Obama/Holder response.
That picture of Bloomberg and the ACORN woman kissing is enough to cause E.D. to the viewer! Yikes!
So who let the,m in? Just who is it that is continually allowing these Liberal hate-mongers and violent protesters into all these restricted areas in Government buildings? How many times recently has Code Pink and other violent Liberal hate-groups been permitted inside the Capitol building and into restricted areas only to accost and batter Republican/Conservative Senators and Congressmen and disrupt the goings on in the Senate or House?
Why aren’t those people being publicly exposed and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law? Look at what happened a couple of years ago at the State of the Union when these Leftie hate-mongers were given tickets in only to disrupt and insult those people they deem lower than themselves. Seems to me that if the Senators and Legislators were serious about these things, then they would expose, prosecute and expel whoever it is that is continually doing this, as well as making sure they are not re-elected by promoting their misdeeds during elections.
Erin- yes people of all leaving NYC in droves. Not just the wealthy. With impending tax increases and new “fees” any wage increases are wiped out. I am not “the rich” but I’m seriously thinking of leaving NY but where? I’ve lived here most of my life.
The streets here are empty with tons of empty stores. it’s more than a little disturbing.
Keep in mind it just isnt ACORN. Here in Ohio I ran into rouoghly 20 different pro democratic party groups who were out campaigning for Obama.
The dems spent alot of money circumventing the election laws.
I would love to see a pic of Bloomberg putting a lip lock on one of those New Black Panther Obama storm troopers that are openly intimidating voters at the polls (coming soon to a town near you!)
When do liberal start giving a tinker’s damn about the country and not the party?
Love the photo. Who’s resuscitating whom?
ACORN is worse than the mafia circa 1920′s and should be shutdown with RICO statutes.
The FBI and DOJ have become corrupt and no longer investigates criminals but enables them.
They only go after Political enemies of the party in power.
BTW Bloomberg is a crook, he stole 20 cartons of my cigarettes that I was legally importing from Europe and demanded I pay New York Taxes on them.
Since I live in California, I told him to pound sand.
that photo should have come with a “R” rating and a warning that it will make one ill….geeze what a disgusting display…I know we won’t see it, but ACORN should be audited and investigated at every level of it’s corrupt core…it definitely shouldn’t get a dime of taxpayer $$$…
These people are criminals and completely out of control. When are we going to take back our country? Is anarchy going to continue to go unanswered? The pot is simmering and will boil over very soon. It will be a long hot summer.
Bertha Lewis gave Bloomberg a Corleone kiss of death.
chsw
I did not need that picture in my mind at bedtime. But I can’t think of a more deserving guy than Bloomberg…
At the rate our “inclusive”-leaning GOP is going, this guy may well be the Republican presidential nominee in 2012. How would that sound to you guys? Think you could vote for that?
It is the boro of Staten Island that got Bloomberg elected both times because that is where the Republican base in NYC lives. So that is where Bloomy went to get the blessing of the Staten Island Republican Party as soon as he over threw the term limit restriction. The Staten Island Republicans apperently have no cojones and backed him right away, even though he has repeatedly belittled the Republican Party and “hates” the whole party system (hence his self stated “independent” label). I believe that the Republican Party on Staten Island either was paid off or is just afraid of this power hungry nanny-state nut case. Or both. Also, they think he will win and want the Republican label on him thinking that will make them stronger which is rediculous because Mayor Mike will throw that label away as soon as he gets elected again.
Problem is that the residents of Staten Island aren’t as quick to get behind Bloomberg as the Republican Party is. He is about to close a rather important Fire House there (all fire houses on Staten Island are important because is gets harder and harder to get around quickly with ever growing traffic not to mention the addition of hundreds of traffic lights…there seem to be one in front of every driveway here now…should have invested stock in the manufacturer). That along with the refusal to give the property tax rebates back last year (he relented after he realized he needed Staten Island to win) and his refusal to run the Staten Island Ferry every half hour 24/7 (after 1:30AM it is every hour until rush hour weekdays and from 8:00PM-10AM weekends) have not endured the mayor to Staten Islanders. Had the Republican Party done at least a little research they would have found that a viable candidate can beat Bloomberg. They have NO backbone.
I have mentioned here before that Mike Bloomberg right in front of me said “I hate Staten Island. If I ever have to go back there again it will be too soon….Thomplinsville…is like a Third World Country”.
At least the Staten Island Woodchuck on Ground Hog Day knew what to do with him….He BIT HIM!
bloomberg, what a putz.
