Iranian youth risked their lives to protest election fraud.

L.A. youths set cars and buses on fire and took to the streets to riot…after their basketball team won:

Losers.

And looters!

LA has been essentially lawless since 1992. It wasn’t the establishment that ended the riots, it was Koreans and retired military who stopped the direct attacks. Order was not restored, but merely suspended. The riots continue, in slow motion.

I grew up in the 60s, 70s & 80s, and even in those years of rapid decay, there was still an idea that if you saw a crime occur, you should call the police and get the evildoers put behind bars away from society. Now those evildoers ARE society.

I recently saw a heart-rending news video on YouTube about an elderly woman in Detroit who had the last house standing on her block, the rest falling down from blight or taken over by crackhead squatters. “If I were to scream, who would hear me?” She died a few months later, her body on ice in the morgue for 4 months unclaimed. This is LA’s fate in 10 years.

Sadly, you took the words right out of my mouth.

I have been wondering, have the main core of perpetrators been identified?

No, I do not trust the media to do so unless the criminals are pro-lifers, Christians, Conservatives, Conservative women, Asians-Orientals, Israelis, or White males.

Question: With all the lefties being so distraught over “Diversity,” and pushing “Diversity” as if it were as important as air, why is there no Supreme Court mandate, or Congressional mandate, or Presidential Mandate, or Hollywood mandate that the NBA (National Basketball Association) “Diversify” and reflect the population of the USA?

As the NBA is now, they are over represented by black players.

They should have 12 to 13% black, instead of 80% or so, 13 to 14% Hispanic, a percentage of Asian-Oriental, and Caucasian.

There should be “Affirmative Action” for these other groups, in order to ensure that blacks do not dominate the NBA any longer, and consequently to ensure that other groups are more properly represented in the NBA.

I know that Democrats, liberals, leftists, and the black population would support such diversity legislation in order to regulate NBA player racial representation.

After all, if University of California, which has nine campuses, can say that they have too many Asian-Oriental students enrolled per the number of students in total, and that they are going to limit Asian-Oriental students in order to push diversity (even though Asian-Orientals EARNED their way in, have higher scholastic scores and achievement than any other ethnic group), then truly the NBA would allow white males, Asian males, Arab males, and Hispanic males to benefit from the NBA, and grant them the chance to earn millions per year playing basketball, just like majority black basketball players.

I agree with the commenter above. When sports teams win Championships in Boston, Philly, LA, Chicago, Detroit and Miami the natives get restless and rape, pillage and burn their own neighborhoods.
Pittsburgh wins the Super Bowl and Stanley Cup and the worst thing that happened is that they delay the opening of schools the next day to allow the fans to celebrate, not rape, pillage and burn their neighborhoods.
A good question to ask here, in the cities that I mentioned above, what political party controls most of the leadership positions in those cities? Bueller? Bueller? We’re waiting… BUZZZZZZZZ, Democrats! Why can’t the liberals control their own voters and supporters from raping and pillaging their own neighborhoods?
The pictures and videos show many types of people of all color looting and misbehaving. All of them should be in jail. It’s sad that California can’t do a thing since they are closing their jails and putting criminals back on the street. So the question is, Why not act like juveniles and loot the shoe stores and electronic stores so the next time LA makes a run at the championship everyone can watch on their new HDTV’s.
What a sad state we live in when the dumb masses act like this. Someone has to pay for this and guess what, WE ARE paying for this in higher insurance rates and the fact that some store owners will close their businesses and move somewhere else.
What has happened to Los Angeles? Where are the leaders? Hello? Is there anyone out there?

The main thing I am saying it’s time to hold someone accountable for this bad behavior. If this doesn’t stop soon our Governments will insist on pay backs from the Sports teams and leagues to pay to fix what the “fans” broke.

Just think sunset curfews, martial law, etc… Do we want this kind of nanny state? To quote a certain Southern California citizen.. Why can’t we all just get along? Because there are race baiters who would lose huge amounts of cash if that ever happened… Maybe we can get ACORN and the Black Panthers to help in security details after certain teams win Championships!

In LA, we know how to do riots. We riot for everything. This is just the second Lakers “test riot” before the big show on Wednesday. The first “test riot” was that spontaneous affair last Thursday after the Lakers won game 5. Yesterday’s “test riot” was the dress rehearsal. Wednesday is the official riot (parade) for which the city is planning to scale back security for budget reasons. (Can’t have a proper riot with all those cops getting in the way). Should be fantastic!

They are just taking President Obama’s words to heart. Spreading the wealth around.

I saw last night on live TV they also looted a gas station. But I guess they stopped at the shoe store first in order to run faster from the cops.

They are also engaged in “takeovers” by those actions, just as Obama and his cronies are engaged in takeovers.

Re the LA police, I thought it was against LA Police procedures and policies to do anything during riots, arsons, pillaging, and rapping en masse but to withdraw out of the area of the riots and let them take their course, leaving the innocent citizens and their property and businesses to be victimized, and possibly even murdered and destroyed.

That’s the way it has been in LA.

I give you the Rodney King court case ruling.

Do you think that perhaps such action, or lack thereof, on the part of the LA police and city government, and the State of California, can be used as a training tool for al Qaeda, Hamas, Hizzbollah, Mencha, la Raza, MG-13, etc?

For any of you to label what’s going on in LA as rioting, you are wrong. Obviously the entire entitlement community is shopping…the Laker’s were on fire, and this is simply a “Fire Sale!”

Where’s Rodney King? “C-c-an’t we all just get a…deal?”

In a few months, unfortunately, this will be the norm in California, as towns, cities, and counties lay off police officers, as mine is planning to do. Ten police officers, and four support personnel, in a community whose force is already down seven replacement officers for those recently retired. And, Arnold wants to “borrow” $20 million from my community alone. He is also proposing to “borrow” 30+ million dollars from the Fish and Game coffers. Just so you know, “borrow” is Democrat legalese for “unlawful taking” under the guise of authority. Apparently, those LA Democrats collecting their new “kicks” understand that…so they are not stealing, they are “borrowing.”

The imbeciles running this state should be held accountable for what comes next. Proposals to cut police, fire, and education (note: NOT teachers), while allowing all programs to help illegal immigrants continue.

Yeah, the Governator has also suggested releasing prisoners into the general population. How did that work out for New Orleans during Katrina…you know, that crisis that keeps on giving?

    What’s next? Marshall Law?

They weren’t ‘rioting’–that sounds like they needed an excuse to loot…they were celebrating the victory by treating themselves to anything they felt like. It’s entitlement, baby. Get used to it, cracker.

I live in Los Angeles, and have never liked the Lakers. They are a classless organization, from Kobe Bryant elbowing opposing players in the face to Pau Gasol celebrating a winning basket by chest bumping an opponent.

The behavior by the fans does not surprise me.

My closest friends are Laker fans, and am glad they were not part of the rioting.

I just hope the parade does not bring traffic to a standstill.

It seems to me that a strong entitlement mentality feeds this sort of behavior.

    Entitlement and moral relativism.

No doubt not one of these rioters thought his/her actions were wrong or immoral, based on their own personal definition of fun and right/wrong.

jbh45, Thanks for the clarification. I didn’t know that. Guess that would discourage you from doing business in one of these areas unless you have a shotgun. But then, I bet you can apply for some grant that will pay for your rebuilding, i.e., you end up dependent on the government and they can set your profit margin.
