They are being rounded up and beaten. Mass arrests. They have cut off their means of communication…cell phone service, etc. One thing the stupid Iranian “government” didn’t think of was Twitter. The folks are communicating by Twitter and it’s working. Unfortunately, the word is out and soon that won’t be available either. I always thought Twitter was dumb, but now I’m not so sure. If we started descending on DC en mass…would this corrupt government do that to us?

Don't forget that the Obamanation appointed a Cyber Security Czar, and also has the power now to turn off various internet networks for "national security" reasons.
The means to cut off the communications completely are already in place.

saw this on the news this morning & wondered, in sort of a reverse way, what would have happened here in the USA if Obama had lost in November?….

Probably would have had the same amount of RINOs, gutless wimps and sellouts being reelected 2010.

If the mullahs run the show - by picking the candidates, there may not be much difference regardless of who the country's figurehead is. Should the election results be overturned, I hope the protesters don't just walk away thinking they've won. IMO, they will have to reduce the power of the mullahs in order to have any true change in the country. Just have to watch and see, eh?

Just heard on Rush Limbaugh--the pundits are all comparing their election to OURS in 2000, "so who are WE to comment on their problems."

So I guess that answers my question...

Paul Revere said: Oh how I wish this was happening in Washington, D.C. right now.

How about this:
September 12 Taxpayer March in Washington, DC.

Be glad to meet you there Paul. Maybe we and others who post here could have a MM.com meeting on the side.

This link, takes you to the press release I received announcing the vendor managing the logistics for the 9/12 event, but the event itself is just in the planning stages so no details are readily available. They did have this posted: "Our goal is to have the website operational by: June 16, 2009." I think the event is being co-produced by Resistnet, Grassfire and Freedomworks.

It would be very hard for me to imagine any President of the U.S. NOT making a statement of support for a People who are fighting for their very lives and their freedoms!
It would seem that if the US and the UN are serious about desiring a peaceful, self-induced regime change in Iran to reduce Mid East tensions and the spread of nuclear weapons, there would be a heck of a lot more vocalized support for these Iranian citizen-student protesters.

If Iran is ever to be guided away from Mullah control and back into a peaceful place in the world community, now is the time for the US and UN to help make that happen by lending a voice.

Obama keeps up with the insane, unconstitutional policies of his, and an uprising is exactly what he'll see.

Bet he's looking at Iran this morning, thinking, "Uh, oh...Gotta move quicker to impose Sharia here..."
