ABC News should be required to register as a federal lobbyist.
On June 24, Drudge reports, the network will broadcast from inside the White House to air a propaganda special for Obamacare.
Opposing voices will reportedly be excluded. ABC News says “thoughtful” and “diverse” points of view will be allowed. In other words: Shills of all colors!

A huge majority of the uninsured in this country are in three categories:
1. those who can afford health insurance but choose not to purchase it.
2. those who can’t afford health insurance, are eligible for a government program, but, for whatever reason, have not bother to apply for it.
3. illegal aliens who shouldn’t be getting health insurance in this country anyway.
The remaining uninsured would probably be a manageable amount to deal with without resorting to socialized healthcare.
There are so many other ways to cut our healthcare costs!!! SOLVE THE ILLEGAL ALIEN PROBLEM!! PUT A CAP ON MALPRACTICE LAWSUITS!!

Well, their idea of “Fair and Balanced” has always been a panel consisting of a representative of the left, a representative of the hard left, a representative of the “new” left and a representative of the leftover left.

The real question is – are the reported poll numbers real?
Is almost anything that is reported actually as reported?

The number of people who want to be beholden to an all-encompassing centralized government is alarming. When you consider the fact that they’ve essentially given away all of the adult responsibilities, it’s no wonder so many of them don’t want to procreate.
Let’s try to look at the bright side – if he was so confident in the passage of the reform, he wouldn’t be pulling a stunt like this. At least now we know there are some senators that are at least wavering. We need to keep pounding them to make sure that they oppose it.

Change I would like to see:
1. AMA is a monopoly and we should shed all laws favoring their monopolistic view of medicine.
2. Elimate all government aid and funds to support any one form of medicine.
3. Eliminate the requirment for prescriptions. Let any person prescribe any medication for himself. After all it is his (or her) body.
4. Get out of the health care business.
5. Privacy means no government right or health care provider right to view your records without your written approval.

Which begs the question…. who the hell are these people in that 60% that think he’s doing a good job? I can understand that 10% to 15% of the people in this country will still approve of him even if he was caught loading his car trunk with money from the Treasury on live TV. But beyond that whack-job portion of the population, what exactly do these people think he’s doing that’s actually good?
They apparently must not be paying attention.
Let me be more specific about my previous post on Bill Maher ripping into Obama. It is noteworthy that a super lib like Maher would rip him for being “obsessed with being on TV all the time”. It is also noteworthy that he would criticize him for using the word “I” like he has exclusive rights to it.
Unlike most commenters here, I actually read the lefty websites and the cracks in Obama’s support among them appeared early and have only grown worse. This is good for us. Obama is making the same mistake as Clinton did in 1992 by trying to appease the nutty left as if he won a mandate.
As in 1992, Americans voted to throw out the errant GOP, not deliver a mandate to the leftest of the left. That Maher would be the first to actually criticize Obama on national TV is noteworthy. Not all victories come punctuated with blaring trumpets and statements of unconditional surrender.

During the campaign, one of the channels on satellite was “The Obama Channel”. I am on Dish network, and my channel 73 was this title. I couldn’t believe it. I’m sure he had to pay for this, but I’m also sure he didn’t have enough money to have a whole channel named for him, so there had to be some sort of payoff I’m sure.
He is steadly working up to dictatorship.Each day, something else happens to point to this. Maybe by the time it’s time to vote, it won’t make any difference, it will be too late at the rate he’s moving.

OK – I may be dreaming – but aren’t all broadcaster licensed to work for the benefit of the public good? They are by definition ‘public airways’.
What would it take to have the RNC or some well heeled Senators and Representatives to go and demand that ABC’s FCC licenses to broadcast be lifted as this kind of broadcasting is not in the public interest?
A Congressional investigation is needed here. The overt in-your-face corruption and partisanship of the “free” press is an existential threat to our democracy.
We have GOT to boycott ABC and if necessary, drive it out of business! We cannot, for the sake of this country, allow the government to coopt the news organizations. This is just the first step and it is an obvious one at that!
Contact the sponsors of ABC programming and make it clear you will not buy their goods as long as they advertise on ABC. Contact your representitives and let them know that this is unacceptable! This is worse than it looks people!
Somehow I don’t think people like “Mr. Thug Thizzle” voter in Ohio (?) or the ones questioned right after voting who had no idea who Pelosi is or who was really in control of congress, paid attention before or after pulling the lever for the person ‘everyone else’ was voting for.
I believe the snap back to the right after this debacle is going to be severe and long lasting- we just need to figure out how to survive this onslaught until Nov. 2010. Unfortunately that’s apparently going to be no mean feat.

Just yesterday ABC reported John McCain saying that the US has the most efficient health care system in the world. ABC reporters refrained from then reporting studies showing we have one of the least efficient systems. Republicans have no idea how much they benefit from unquestioning reporters shoveling their s**t.
No free health insurance for transplanted Jordanian Arab Muslims brought here by Soetoro in January on the taxpayers dime.
No free health insurance for Mexican nationals living illegally in the United States.
No free health insurance for able-bodied people who refuse to work.
