Ensign resigns GOP leadership post
I weighed in on the Ensign affair early this morning.
Just in: Ensign will resign his GOP leadership post as head of the Republican Policy Committee.
Only one word to add to what I’ve already said:
Good.

ZeroIntelligence,
The fact that you don’t NEED a response doesn’t mean I don’t sometimes enjoy watching your apoplexy on certain issues.
And if you recall you are the one who first made the “don’t need a response” remark and I was only quoting you back to you. And here you are still responding. I guess you don’t get “irony”…
You know, I guess one of the things that I find awfully frustrating is, like it or not, knuckle-dragging idiots like you are the base of the Republican Party.
Folks like me can rely on you guys to support the military, push for a strong foreign policy, support 2nd Amendment rights, and push for a more libertarian economic policy.
Unfortunately, we also have to swallow and put up with your ridiculous fundamentalist religiosity and your attempts to stick a knife into scientific progress. I suppose the Democrats must also be frustrated in a similar fashion when they find themselves catering to race warriors and chronic abusers of the system.
You really can’t read either, can you? I am not responding to your stupid taunts. I have yet to try and claim that I don’t abuse woodland animals. In fact, even if I did, it wouldn’t make you any less of an idiot.
ZeroIntelligence,
I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN, YOU ILLITERATE DOLT.
I guess your short-term memory is shot too along with any capacity for logic…
…if it isn’t obvious my previous post is addressed to WE82. No doubt there are many posters on MM’s site that feel similarly as I do. There might even be some that sympathize with WE82. If the shoe fits, wear it.
WE82:
As for this:
So? I didn’t say you were. I said you represent the base. Which you do. No doubt you consistently (or at least very often) vote Republican (as I do).
ZeroLogic,
Ah, the argument from silence. You are a true genius of the first order. Now get back to your support groups before they fetch the local constabulary to assure attendance.
How did you get out of the “home” anyway?
WE82:
Face it, you are a stupid, stupid person. Normally I don’t resort to pointing that out to people and I prefer to use the term “ignorant.” After all, very smart peopple can be guilty of having had the education system fail them. In many cases, that is the issue.
For you however, it’s something much worse, you clearly lack reading comprehension skills and just a basic capacity for critical thinking. Additionally, you seem rather insecure. I would pity you, but you are just such a mean-spirited jerk.
Chap was right about you all along. You really are only worthy of ridicule. As I said, it annoys me that because of our two-party system I have to tolerate gravely demented people like you. Oh well. *shrug*
ZeroHumility,
Thank you, thank you, thank your for pointing out my shortcomings and failings. I’m not worthy!
More arrogance and ignorance from the resident elitist, arrogant atheist…

WE2, what’s with this fascination of your’s with animal husbandry. Have you not been able to attract a partner yet with that big six figure income of yours?
Isn’t it funny that conservative lowlifes like Sen. Ensign actively campaign against gay people, stating they are an abject social ill and absolutely imorral.
Yep, I’m starting to think Conservatives/Republicans are the best at irony in the world! The “moral majority” who say gays are evil, was led by Ted Haggard. The party that started a senseless war in Iraq which cost about one million lives is where the “pro-life” movement hangs out. You guys sure must like your irony an awful lot?
Omu:
Hitchens has also expressed support for the war in Iraq. I think your characterization of the war (which I proudly served in) is unfair.
