I don’t care anymore about how well he did in his presidential campaign, he still has the energy to take a good whack. Sorry tiny winy McCain, but he is definitely smarter and more physically adept than you!

A media in love with itself shilling for a person who can’t see past the fat ego sitting on his shoulders.

It’s really too bad that more now than ever, journalism is more a professional destination for brainless cheerleaders than for those who wish to seak and report the truth.

The whole thing just disgusts me. There are serious issues facing our country and the least that media can do for this country is hold Obummer’s and his administration’s feet to the fire. This feels more like medieval Europe where absolute monarchs and their baron toadies kept each other in power as long as the monarch gave in to the barons’ demands and the barons bowed/scraped and showed support for the monarch.

This is all this sad relationship is now between the media and Washington. Just a monarch and his baronial sychophants expressing their love for one another. The thing is, though, if the monarch squashes any of the barons, the barons will turn on him in a heartbeat.

Let’s not even pretend that any of this power is shared with the common man.

First of all, John McCain has had both hands and arms crippled from torture in an NVA prison. Additionally, he is now 72 years old, despite the many unimaginable physical and psychological hardships he has endured. However, without those injuries, and at your beloved Barack’s same age of 47, he could no doubt have accomplished the same demonstration of quickness and superior reflexes. Remember, McCain was a Naval Aviator, flying high performance jet attack aircraft at speeds up to 700 mph. The kind of clear thinking, lightning fast reflexes, and hand-eye coordination required to perform in such an environment is rare among humans, as only a small percentage are selected to train for such a position. Along with such superior abilities comes a superior mind. Given the same situation, John McCain’s superior focus would likely have enabled him to finish the interview unphased, while a staffer killed the fly without being asked and thus McCain would have avoided getting the fly guts on his hands during a network interview. It is the mind of an arrogant self-aggrandizing adolescent like Obama who would attempt to impress the sycophantic interviewer and audience with his manual fly-killing skillz!

I saw this on one of the nbc’s this morning, and the anchors went on like it was glorious. I actually screamed obscenties at the tv. I usually only do that while watching the Packers or Brewers.

This is so embarrassing. Video of the POTUS, any POTUS, swatting a fly during an interview belongs on the editing room floor, not on actual airtime.

My thoughts exactly – our the president doesn’t have the disipline to ignore a fly..He is an embarrassment.

My point was that the media is embarrassing. I can understand anyone swatting a fly, but treating it as newsworthy is ridiculous, and exposes a severe case of teenybopperish celebrity obsession.

But I do agree with your assessment of the POTUS as embarrassing, too. :-)

Surely that was file footage from when President Bush dodged the flying shoes with cat-like reflexes.

What? You mean when that happened there weren’t any MSM anchors swooning over his ninja moves?!
