It doesn’t sound very, um, sensitive to other cultures’ interpretation of the patriarchal role…
So on a day on which we are supposed to be celebrating fatherhood and all that fathers do for us, Obama turns it into a scolding about how fathers are inadequate and need to do more. It would make more sense to be encouraging more fatherhood during black history month, as that is the community in which the bulk of the problem lies.
Well who else is going to educate us on how we must rasie our children in this brave new liberal facist state????
I think it’s a great idea, considering how close BHO was with his father, and all.

How dare he assume he knows anything about the sacred role in human life played by Fathers.
What does Barry Soetoro know about fatherhood? What do celebrities know about fatherhood?
More importantly, what do they model? Barry Soetoro is a puppet of many. But one of the string pullers is Islam and its theocracy around the world.
When Barry Soetoro spoke from Cairo to the “Moslem World” ….he was really speaking to “Followers of Islam” (let’s be clear…next we will be calling them “Moors”…. they follow the religion of Islam. please!).
His speech spoke loudly about his view of fatherhood.
Soetoro’s silence on honor killings based on Islam, where Fathers can murder their daughters for talking to boys and a husband can murder their children’s Mother for violations of sharia codes, speaks loudly. Fathers can stand by while their daughters genitalia can be mutilated with broken glass to destroy their body’s natural sexual pleasure centers…they can stand by with impugnity.
Fathers have the right to kill family members. But, Islam is oh so tolerant a religion. And Barry Soetoro professes to know something about being a father because he sired two children.
What would he say about Islamists insisting he have his own daughters clitorectomized?
Would he allow it? Would he condemn it? What would “Daddy” do?
Barry Soetoro is a broken human being.
Barry Soetoro had a traumatic childhood that has been sugar coated by his ghost writer and legendary white man, William Ayers– domestic political terrorist who still roams free.
Barry’s autobiography (who writes one at age 40 for chrissakes?) focuses on father. And it is a whitewashed tale. I want to read the real stories about young Barry getting his ass whupped by adult males who had taken up with ol Stanley, his Mama. I want to read the real stories where Barry was in the house as a child while ol Stanley exercised her sexual freedom with her paramours and adopting daddy. I want to read how the life led by the child Barry turned him into a pathological narcissist who is now compliant with the widespread destruction of peoples lives here in a country he does not love.
Father SCHMATHER. Barry Soetoro is an impostor in every facet of his existence. Everyone knows he doesn’t own the BICEPS in the family.
And possibly other parts.

Hey bear, good to see you posting again. And it’s OK with me that you took my basic concept in post #5 and fleshed it out a little.
“Fathers” we got, judging from the number of children living at the poverty level. Any man can be a father. What we need are more Dads who will stick around and co-parent, providing structure and emotional nourishment and security.
And do we need a man with a family history like Barry O’s lecturing America on family values? Please. The audacity of hype lives on.
How ironic that the term I use to describe Obama starts with the word “mother”.

Anything that Obummer can do that makes the black community more aware of the responsibilities of being a father is good. The failure of the black man to take such responsibility (upwards of 60% of black children live with a single mother; more than any other racial group; ) is one of the biggest reasons for black poverty, the breakdown of black culture, and the epidemic of black crime.

I got that book for my husband for Father’s Day. I can’t wait to give it to him. He mentioned a couple of months ago he really wanted to get it.
I’m a firm believer one should never use the term “never”, in regards to the above I don’t see it ever happening in America. When 40% of the pop. are conservative, 39 % consider themselves moderates(fence sitters in my opinion) and 21% hard lefties. The fence sitters are starting to see the yellow brick road is covered in red useless bank notes backed by generations of taxes…oh, and we have most the guns along with the vast majority of military on our side.

Once again, I must advise people to look into the history of Germany circa 1932-1938. I want people to study how the German Leader influenced the population, how he influenced families, telling them exactly what types of parents they needed to be to their children, “for the good of the State”.
My God, just how many parallels need to be drawn before people in this nation wake the hell up? Looks to me she’s being loose with the facts as there is no viable proof that BO was born in Hawaii. She should say allegedly born in Hawaii. It could be easily verified if BO would be a bit more transparent.
Obama should combine a mentoring, star athletes, fatherhood gathering with homosexuals who advocate same-sex marriage and really blur the lines of what defines what a family is. According to the homosexuals, two mommies can fulfill a father’s role just as well as a male.
Bwahaahaahaa! Obama telling anyone how a father should act, ha, ha, just kills me. A real father acts out of love, demonstrates true loyalty to his country and family, puts others above himself, sacrifices mightily for family and others, and is most often the “heavy lifter” of all the dirty jobs. I worked in Southern Sudan. If you ask an Arab from Khartoum if there is slavery the answer will be a strong “NO”. However I saw it first hand. I asked one of the Southern Sudanese converts from Islam why is the slavery being lied about so openly. He said in order to be a slave you have to be considered human. The Arab Islamic folks in Khartoum and Northern Sudan do not consider the Christian blacks, animist, basically all non-Islamic blacks in Southern Sudan human beings. So not human, not slaves.

Why not have a “fatherhood” Czar? It’d be just another paving stone on this country’s Road to Hell.
The Founding Fathers well understood that a social/political system based on minimalist government would require the people to serve as the primary check on themselves. That’s why, for example, you can find multiple affirmations from them of the necessity for a spiritual people to uphold a republic.
But since we’re well into an age where personal responsibility is something to be avoided at all costs, and since we traded in the Second Coming for Teleprompter Jesus(TM), to preserve public order now requires the government to step in and make illegal things which religious beliefs and personal ethics used to set the limits upon.
Minimal government requires people to govern themselves. When enough people refuse to do that, the poor substitute is for more and more laws to try to fill in the cracks.
And thus is a totalitarian government born, one piece at a time, as people trade in their liberty and their sense of responsibility in exchange for a false sense of security and entitlement.
When do people realize that czars are unConstitutional? It’s simply a way to get around accountability in the age of transparency.

Actually, I do believe that The B.O. was born in Hawaii. The reason we are only given a view of his Certification of Live Birth instead of his Certificate of Live Birth is because the certification doesn’t show the birthplace of his parents.
Check your own certificate of live birth. It has the names of your mother and father and the names of the State(s) in which they were born. A certification does not contain this data. Hawaii doesn’t give out copies of the certificate, only the certification. You see, his daddy was born in Kenya and that makes The B.O. constitutionally ineligible to be the president. “Naturally born citizen” means both your parents have to be born in the U.S., too.
This is same reason that his college transcripts haven’t been released either. It would show his daddy to be born in Kenya and be a British subject.
I’m waiting for a true American whistle-blower to step up and produce The B.O.’s Certificate of Live Birth or his college transcripts, a-la Daniel Elsberg. We are entitled to the truth!
