Has San Francisco become a haven for cannabis marketing? From what the article I found tells, it would seem that way.

The Teen Titans of DC Comics are about to encounter more awful storytelling, and we’re about to be driven farther and farther away from wasting our time on the mess this once-excellent franchise has now become.

Here’s a video of Ninja Commando, made for the old Neo-Geo console in 1992. (I hope that it buffers well too; it was very slow and problematic for me to load on my computer. No matter, if I learn that it’s too slow, I can always replace it with a better recording.)

How true that was of my Dad and me. As I grew older, the closer we became, especially after Mom passed away.

My dad passed away when I was 17. The only relationship we had was adverserial. That’s one of my major regrets since I carried that over to my daughter. I tell folks now, whose father is still alive that they are blessed and to enjoy it. Too bad we cant get do-overs in life.

My older kid hangs with a guy whose parents are immigrants from Poland.

He apparently heard the guy call his dad “Tata”, the Polish word for “father”.

So, out of the blue, my Fathers’ Day card this year was addressed to …”Tata”.

I’m half-Polish.

I haven’t heard the word since (copying my mother) I called my coal miner granddad that when I was a very little kid.

Sweet.

As I watch the Iranian people protest their government I feel a sense of loss. I feel that they have an opportunity that we may never have again simply because we will never collectively have the passion to get out in the streets and protest en mass against the aristocracy of our government. The same aristocracy that was so despised that it brought forth our nation and it’s constitution.

So I salute these young Iranians and I wish them luck in their quest for FREEDOM!

My Dad was one of the funniest people, yet instilled in me that as a girl/woman and I could do anything on this earth if I wanted. He always said that since I’m very small the brute strength wasn’t there, but “honey, you can kill them with your brains.”
