Obamacare ground troops at the airport
I’m at Denver International Airport waiting to pick up family.
In Terminal East, I was accosted by two young people from an outfit called “Progressive Future.” They are standing with clipboards and propaganda pimping Obamacare.
Don’t have time right now to look them up, but I asked one of the young Obama-bots who funded his group.
He didn’t know.
Wouldn’t be surprised if stimulus dollars or AmeriCorps funding was subsidizing this.
The young man handed me a flyer using “right-wing Republicans in Congress,” “Rush Limbaugh and Fox News” to scare the sheeple into support the government health care takeover.
On the one hand, it shows how organized the ground troops are.
On the other hand, can you think of a sillier place to engage citizens in a discussion of health care than in the middle of an airport with busy travelers rushing to and from their flights?

A quick review of the staff profiles will show that not one of them have ever held a real, private sector job. (At least none they are willing to admit to.) These idiots were in my hometown Saturday at the monument for Veterans (of all places) illegally, passing pamphlets out for Obamacare.

Yep, I’m here IN THE KITCHEN at my desk on the computer, where I run just about everything. About the only thing I can’t do is get that darn fan belt back onto the tractor. My kids got the added benefit of their mother home to love and parent them, not some sitter.

Such groups are supposed to be nonpartisan to receive federal dollars. But in today’s newspeak, anything from the center to the left is defined as nonpartisan. Anything right of center is partisan, right-wing extremism.
ACORN and its affiliates get government money to hire democrats to work in highly democratic areas to get out the democratic vote. Does anyone know of similar political groups on the right who are subsidized by the government to do similar work in highly republican areas? I would like to find out how one-sided government subsidies really are. How would I go about finding that information?
Who wants to make the call to see how entangled these “progressives” are with ACORN and the Obama administration?
Of course they KNOW they won’t have to file forms for a very long time to disclose where their money comes from and what it is spent on. I suspect they are hoping the battle will be over before their next mandatory filing deadline.

Pimping hate to glom support for ObamaCare(lessness)? They always show up where they can have a captive audience. I think I would raise a ruckus if I was approached. I don’t care what they’re trying to sell, I don’t like being accosted in a captive environment, in fact, I resent it.

Cost wise, health-care in this country is expensive – but only because of law suits and intrusive government interference. So that part is true, IMHO.
But as for US health-care being inaccessible and of low quality, well those are blatant lies!
The health-care this country has to offer is the best to be found (I know from personal experience – as I once said, cancer and heart disease run in my family) and readily available to any citizen in any state.

This is according to the Attorney Registration and Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois…curious no one is reporting this. It must be a non-story…

I received one of these at an art festival in Portland, OR this weekend. It was a fellow artist’s wife that was handing them out. She was shocked when I told her I didn’t want the government running my health care. She had overstated amounts of what people are currently paying for insurance and when corrected as to the cost of family plan insurance, started asking other programmed questions of me. I told her she was wasting her time and I’d just through the info away anyway. I could tell that she had not run into many dissenters by her reactions to me. I am looked upon by my peers at the art festivals that I participate in as an oddity. I am not the only token conservative there and we occasionally meet up to go tea bagging etc. Sometimes I feel like I’m behind enemy lines though.
I picked a bad time to give up sniffing glue.
I wish I were at home with the kids tethered to the kitchen…
…because being tethered to a computer in a cubical writing TPS reports for a PHB is not my idea of liberation.
Errah, I was driving up I-81 Friday and there was an Obama/Biden Healthcare sign in a cornfield in nowhere Virginia. Looked like campaign sign and it was about half the size of a normal billboard!!!! Is this where all those shovel read printing and construction dollars went?

Why National Health Care Should Scare You –
As I was reminded by Matt Lewis recently, the scheme to nationalize health care is really frightening. While Americans should all oppose it on principle – there are also self-preservation reasons, as well.
It is clear that countries which have socialized health care require long waiting periods for treatment (no matter how much you are willing to pay), e.g. – Let’s say you have cancer, and it will cost you tens of thousands of dollars for treatment. And, you don’t have insurance; while this is certainly a bad predicament, it is not an impossible situation. While you might have to borrow or ask in order to be treated, a person can find a way in the USA to receive treatment – regardless of his or her AGE!
But if the government tells you that it’s too expensive, or that you’re too sick, or that you’re too old to be treated, or that you brought it upon yourself – then where do you go? Well in the Orwellian/Obaman World of National Socialist Health care – the Government bureaucracy will deny or postpone treatment!

When the Hare Krishnas were still allowed to set up their little space on a concourse at an airport (I think it was Atlanta, may have been Chicago — CRS — Can’t Remember S*!t!) I happened to be passing through wearing my uniform.
One of them mistook me for a young airman he could incite to “contribute” to their cause and offered me the standard ‘free gift’ to get me to stop and listen to the ‘pitch.’
I said “Thank You!’ and promptly grabbed the gift while continuing on my way. The H.K was still standing there sputtering as I dropped said ‘free gift’ in the trash further down the concourse.
I came back through the same airport several days later and the same guy saw me coming and got out of the way!
Try this on those giving out the pamphlets in Denver. Tell them you will help distribute as many as they will give you and then shove them in the nearest trashbin. You are not lying, you indeed are redistributing their garbage to where it belongs.
Or teach math at NYU.

Denver airport, that is the weirdest place I’ve ever flown through. The place is creepy. If you look it up online there is a bunch of conspiracy stuff about the place on the internet. Not saying that the New World Order wants to kill Christians, Blacks and Hispanics, but c’mon, a happy utopian world? How Progressive, sure sounds like a Democrat Project to me. Didn’t Clinton build this airport? Creepy place.

This would have to be in an area before you pass through security, which requires a ticket/boarding pass or paperwork from the airlines showing you are there to pick up a minor. If not, that’s a violation of TSA/Homeland Security federal laws. I’m all for making a complaint to Janet Napolitano and jacking her around, even if it was only in the unsecured portions of the airport.
