Obamacare ground troops at the airport
I’m at Denver International Airport waiting to pick up family.
In Terminal East, I was accosted by two young people from an outfit called “Progressive Future.” They are standing with clipboards and propaganda pimping Obamacare.
Don’t have time right now to look them up, but I asked one of the young Obama-bots who funded his group.
He didn’t know.
Wouldn’t be surprised if stimulus dollars or AmeriCorps funding was subsidizing this.
The young man handed me a flyer using “right-wing Republicans in Congress,” “Rush Limbaugh and Fox News” to scare the sheeple into support the government health care takeover.
On the one hand, it shows how organized the ground troops are.
On the other hand, can you think of a sillier place to engage citizens in a discussion of health care than in the middle of an airport with busy travelers rushing to and from their flights?

OK. The real nightmare is on the way…
The 46 Million uninsured minus
The Phantom Uninsured =
No crisis to exploit…uh oh
Strike my previous post.Getting talked at while doing this is not a good thing. It was supposed to be;
With no strike out. Apologies for my gaff.
Ha! Here’s a campaign slogan to hit Barack back with… From a New York Post story linked by the NPR in the story Doug Powers linked to earlier:
All together now: NO!
Ragspierre asked (#95):
Here’s one.
I’m sure glad that lgm posted some evidence to prove that absolutely no stimulus or AmeriCorps funding went to subsidize this…

I am only now able to access this site. I have been at work all day and couldn’t get Michelle, but as soon as I get home I can’t.
All other sites I was able to log onto. Did anyone else have this problem?
That isn’t speculation. That is a “thought”. Try one, sometime. It may be painful at first for you, but challenge yourself.
BTW, do we know that stimulus $$$ are not funding this group?
Where is your proof?

Michelle, can’t we be done with this dolt, he’s been a bore since their 1st post?
Ah yes, DIA. . . ‘Doesn’t include Airport’.
That has become the most awesome airport in the country because it is the only new one we’ve built in 50 years. They were going to do everything state of the art and it took about 10 – 20 years longer than they projected. They were doing an automatic luggage sorter (that didn’t work).
But anyway, I’ve been there and it is an awesome place. It just took forever and is an example of the ineptness of government even when they are doing a good thing.
WOW! I can’t believe that airport has been open for 15 years. Seems like yesterday we were making fun of it. A little history about this inefficient federal project of DIA.
Wait just a cotton pickin minute! Don’t they say on their website that they are partnering with SEIU? and didn’t I see an ad on the OpenLeft website saying that SEIU is going to donate $1 for every person that joins Progressive Future?
They just admitted that they ARE taking money from ACORN appointed SEIU figurehead Andy Stern.
Lying sacks of canine excrement. But they are dems, what can we honestly expect from the bastards?
I had a friend who had a new laptop with a titanium case chewed up and spit out by new their state of the art baggage handling system. He said they could have parked a 747 on it and not hurt it, but the baggage system…
I have been through there several times also. It’s a great terminal. Finally.
#111-
I have been asking for lgm’s removal for the last couple of weeks and sadly he was able to get a poster banned over some mild comments several months ago (Soaps or bear if I recall).
Of course, I have been doing my part for him to complain about me to the extent that I get banned.
GSP
“Dissent is Patriotic-hrc”
I went through DIA the first day it opened. They had more people ‘directors’ than escalators. Out of neccessity have been through several times year. Like all airports, it just more confusing by the day. If it’s not broke, let’s get more money to fix a non-exitant problem and make everyone’s life more miserable. SLC is not bad, but DFW is the best.
If the Obamabots show up at my door, I only have one thing to say to them:
Get off my lawn!
Trolls:
You can’t get rid of them without starving the beast. They’re like the kitty that shows up on your doorstep. If you feed it, it’s yours.
This is from their website. The useful idiots who walk around passing out flyers do not know this? No tax money, global warming corp. money, nothing but donations from the same people who donated to Obama? Then you can be sure illegal crap is going on. I can’t believe the morons supposedly “volunteering” don’t know what kind of org. it is or how it is funded. Maybe I’m just a right wing nut to them, but that sounds stupid beyond belief to me. Someone else needs to open their books. As usual, leftie organizations, so much corruption. We have become just like Mexico, geesh.
I don’t know. He stirs things up here, and I find his pseudo intelectual nonsense rather amusing and entertaining. It’s fun driving his fractured logic to it’s irrational conclusions. But that’s just me.

I get the same kind of relief by watching ‘King of the Hill’…..like eating real butter instead of marjarine.
I’d rather listen to Chapoutier…
Oh… I would just love to see one of these mindless twits daring to approach my husband. They’d end up with series of bodily injuries.
We took the kids to the grand celebration air show at DIA when they were little. Of course, since they were behind schedule, it took place a long time before they opened. But it was a fantastic show – Thunderbirds, Blue Angels, Canadian Snow Birds, etc. I think it was the first time a Stealth Fighter was displayed.
And having recently traveled to Europe, and previously traveled elsewhere in the US, DIA is a pretty pleasant place. Spacious, clean (FREE!) restrooms, easy transporation, food (Charles De Gaulle – no food near gates!), etc. The only drawback is that it’s practically in Kansas. Stapleton was much more convenient.
I remember going to Stapleton when I was a kid. They had an open air observation area on the roof and pay toilets – $.10. As kids, we would crawl under the stall door.
The tax exempt organizations at this link have $4,500,321,197,882 in assets and $3,105,384,901,953 in income!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Since tax exempt organizations are not supposed to engage in political activity and many of the included organizations are left-wing front groups…what if we revoked the tax exempt status and froze assets subject to back taxes!
You have once again exposed BHO and his followers for what they are. Paid for by taxpayer (worker) dollars.
They are connected to AmeriCorps Alums:

I have been LOOKING for them and can’t find them -Buy Danish is tripping over them–life can be cruel

Now now some of you: Let us stop this talk of banning lgm: What would Far Left Field in Neverland be without him?
—
Keep your powder dry good people
If you see these groups and have a few minutes… stop and waste their time and take as much material as they’ll give you…. then toss it in the garbage.
And sign nothing and don’t give them your name.. not even a fake one.
The powder is dry and the weapons are lightly oiled and ready to go. The time is getting near.
He got Blind Mule banned by crying offense at a Photoshop of him as a Nazi.
It’s kind of ironic considering how he endorses fascism.
When I was in Baltimore, some 9/11 ‘truther’ came up to me w/a clipboard.
I must have looked like I would make his clipboard into a innovative enema. He left me alone…
It’s a slight raise of the eyebrows & a glimpse of the teeth. Well, that’s what my husband says. He sees that look & he starts to feel sorry for whomever I’ve turned it on…
Mornin’ everybody. Although I occasionally find lgm’s comments entertaining, I wish he would put his math skills to work doing something a little more constructive, like calculating the odds of getting a Royal Fizzbin.
I miss Blindmule.
I have boiled down the least common denominator as to why he is still able to post. He is a plant and/or relative of Michelle’s. There is NO other way he can come here on his first post and attack Michelle and get away with it. Blindmule attacked lgm and he got the boot after apologizing.
For once we agree.
I miss blindmule as well. I wonder if there’s a statute of limitations?
As for LGM, I read a few of his early posts when I first entered this blog and now just jump over them and go down to the relevant stuff. I don’t have time arguing with a wall or reading about others arguing with a wall.
Reminds me of when Robert Stack enters the airport in Airplane! and he’s accosted by all of the charity/ religious guys for donations. Giving them the karate chops and the like.
These organizations need to get the kids when they are young and stupid. The kids will flock to these jobs because the jobs cater to the lazy by requiring no experience, education or exertion to get the job done.
I wonder if Progressive Future is related to “The Campaign for a Progressive Future”.

All married men know the slight raise of the eyebrows–it is enemies Foreign and Domestic we fear not-not the slight raise of the eyebrows.
Go Girl.
AzN…I suppose having the Scots/Irish Celtic blood has something to do with fearlessness, or recklessness, whichever the case may be.
Sure seems to, doesn’t it. Ever read Born Fighting?
There just seems to be a “little revolution” gene in there somewhere.
Rags, it sure seems genetic.
It would explain why they put my forebears up at the front, playing tunes on the bagpipes to strike fear into the enemy whilst not showing fear themselves.
Don’t get me started on Glencoe.
Errah, I saw all those dispariging remarks you guys made of me yesterday after I signed off and want to say I truely resemble all of them . . . .
Had a conversation via email with them. Alot more pleasant than most libs. But once I got to detailos they bailed on it. HUH I wonder why.
