During a recent cleanup of an old collapsed storage building, I ran across my Daddy’s old fish frying pan. He made it himself out of stainless steel and it was big enough to sit across two burners of a stove at once. Daddy didn’t really like cutting his fish up into pieces small enough to fit into that pan, but he did what he had to do.

I think we are so far over the edge, now, that I can’t wait for the Congressional mid terms. I think we should look into serious recall efforts for our congressmen. The only ones we should pass over are the few who get up in the well of the House or Senate and speak fire and brimstone. Boehner as an example.
Working as usual. Hot today already here in the sunny south west. Looking forward to the fall out from Pelosi forcing folks to vote on an obviously bad piece of legislation.

Got back about a week ago from fishing in the Northwoods (Wisconsin, yah hey!) I had quite the little adventure trying to get my fishing license. My husband went first, no problem. The lady put my data in, and my SSN came up as invalid.
Nice Lady: “Were you born in the States?”
Me: “Yeah, Indiana.”
Nice Lady: “England??”
Me: “No, Indiana.”
Nice Lady: “India??”
(The urge to do Apu’s voice was nearly overwhelming, but I was a good girl.)
Me: “No, Indiana. Right next to Illinois, Michigan, Ohio.”
Nice Lady: “Oh, ok.”
The scary thing was that she put everything in correctly. I could see the screen. But, after a phone call, everything was sorted out and I could go fishing.
And yes, I did catch a few fish. I can even bait my own hook.
One important aspect of all the executive orders, zcar appointments, and legislation which no one talks about is the Obama ongoing effort to add data to his master database we used to believe was only used for campaign and activating workers to get support for passage of certain bills.
The database is everything. It was most likely used for the basis of car dealer elimination and will, in the future, be used for medical reparation-coverage decisions, housing arrangements, vouchers, and more. Why do you think Obama talked so much about computerizing medical records? Where do you think those medical records will reside? Of course, along side of the identifying information in the master database where it will quickly show whether you supported his campaign, your party affiliation, your statistics especially the worth-rating of keeping you around, your IRS records, your blog associations, your published opinions, daily data fed in from workers in the field, the real census and the calculated census data, and so on.
With the push of a button in the White House, someone will know everything about you and can make a decision as to when to send help or the contrary. Big brother is watching us more than we know.
I’m a little surprised that our hostess hasn’t yet commented on the Duke rape case. No, not that one, this one. I’m sure she will, if it ever makes the mainstream media. It might not, because aftere all, a five-year-old isn’t any where near as interesting a rape victim as a stripper.

I will be getting the physical mailing address for one of the Colorado congressmen (DEM) who actually voted No on Friday’s Cap and Trade. I want to thank him for representing his constituents. He, unfortunately, is not my representative. We were gerrymandered in with Boulder (The USSR stateside) a few years back [they are, like, 150 miles away]. Our local voices will never be represeneted. But, Salazar (the brother of now-sec’y of Interior) voted no, and I have to thank him. Won’t accept e-mails from outside their zip codes.
If any elected Republican Congressman is reading this, get serious. You guys need to revolt against the House leadership. Boehner today is fawning disgust with the Crap and Tax bill by calling it a “pile of crap”. Sure, it’s true and sounds good but it is nothing but CYA posturing. This bill passed because of the 10 turncoat Republicans (including the drunk and AZ’s flaky Flake who had “better” things to do). THAT is the true “pile of crap”. There always seem to be just enough Republicans available to deliver landmark victories to the Dems.
What opponents serious on reversing this vote should now be doing is attacking the specifics of the bill in a national campaign (now that we can read the bill) rather than issue useless statements of “comprehensive” disgust. Stop posturing! Act!
Fat chance. After all, this started out as the McCain-Leiberman Cap-and-Trade Bill not that long ago when someone was running for president. What was his name again?

My husband just returned from fishing “up North at the lake”. One of those fabulous Minnesota lakes. Now, we have two of our grandsons for the day. Their daddy is graduating Magna Cum Laud from college today and we are watching the kids so he can have his parents there for the ceremony. Quite a magnificent achievement. He is very intelligent. Unfortunately, he is an Obama moron…so common sense is not part of his thinking. Hopefully, we can “educate” him where it really matters. One grandson is two years and the other is 8 weeks. So we are busy!! It takes two of us to handle it. So far, so good. But it is early!

Sue climate control based on fallacy science, if a judge throws it out, keep re filing it there are 50 states to do it in, someone will take it and order it halted while research is done, hate speech, constant 1st amendment suits should keep that one tied up. 9th Circuit says it is constitutional, we take it to the 4th and so on. No suits out there, find someone to fall on a grenade to make one. We are going to have to use the courts to block legislation now, the way the left does.
Let’s be fair and logical here when discussing 2010 elections and advocating running “all” or “everyone” out of town on a rail. Do you people that say such really believe everyone of these Repubs are dishonest, lyin, bastard, dem’s in an elephant costume? There’s is a lot of good conservative Republicans in office, there also is a lot of GOP(Good Ol’ Pals) in office also. Those are the ones we need to get rid of.
And people don’t take for granite the dems that voted no are a shining example of honestly thinking of the American citizen, remember they could change their vote right up to time running out. The person that was Michael Jackson died years ago. It is just now official. As is often the case with celebrity fame and fortune, it was destructive for him and many around him. I am and was no fan, but recognize his good efforts and condemn the bad. I do wish him his final peace.
Even Fox news kept the MJ coverage on all day Friday. I was at work yelling almost at people saying, the House is voting on the most important piece of legislation in our lifetime today and this is the crap we are getting from the MSM. I bet there is another distraction when the Senate gets to vote on this bill. I really think it was a cover up. Don’t let the people become too informed about what is going on. The country could crash around these people and I bet their first thought would be, I wonder how Jennifer Aniston is handling it. America is dying and will go with a small sigh. Sad.

Exactly. Hillary had him killed in that fiery death during the famous Pepsi commercial. The Jackson family had him replaced with a look-alike to save the family empire. Problem was that he only looked like MJ in costume and make-up which made it necessary to alter his appearance with endless plastic surgery.
Now the body double wants out so they staged a fake death. That’s why he was spending so much time in London. He needed Madame Toussaud to create a wax figure as the “switch”. For a celebrity and a nominal fee, the LA Coroner’s office will rubber stamp anything.
He is now living on an island with Elvis, John Lennon, and Ken Lay. We’ll see them all from time to time and those sightings will be dutifully reported in our respectable tabloids.

Chaffits of Utah. Campaigned against and beat in the primaries the incumbent of too many years. His constituents were fed up with the Good Ol Pal guy, as it should be.
My problem with removing every incumbent you lose a lot of good people in process, you can’t honestly believe the minority of good, hard conservatives can over throw the Republican leadership that easy, it is politics which has taken time in the past, Odumbo has changed that.
Just because conservative want it to happen “now” doesn’t mean it can be done “now”. Pick your horse and ride him hard to the finish line and hope to he!! he wins, beyond that I’m not sure we have many options other than a physical revolt.

A ‘coup’ has taken place in Honduras to remove El Presidente Manuel Zelaya who was trying to usurp their current election laws to remain in power. A safe bet is that Obama will condemn the action to remove Zelaya, not the illegal effort to stay in power. Any takers?

For example, just watched the Sunday morning news shows. Who represented the GOP? Mitch (yes, we must confront global warming) McConnell and the usual post-partisan hacks. If the Republicans are serious, they need to dump those hacks ASAP. When McCain speaks, do you even bother to listen? Of course not. Fewer and fewer of us do. I personally will mourn Billy Mays more deeply than Michael Jackson. Billy Mays was annoying but he did his craft well and privately seemed like a quality businessman who worked hard and apparently never molested children.

The Michelle Bachman’s would probably survive anyway and if they don’t, 2012 is not far away. For lack of courage to take down their corrupt leadership, they will go down with the ship. That’s the way it works. It happened in 2006 and 2008. Do they need to suffer another disaster?
For 2010, it is much more efficient to wage a “dump all incumbents” campaign. Most Americans are fed up with their government. This government is failing catastrophically. How much worse could a new batch of mostly first-termers be? At least they would have our attention. Maybe they would READ legislation before voting?
There are a thousand strategies that lead to noseholding and voting for “the lesser of two evils”. You line of argument is one of those. Step back and look at the bigger picture. The Bachmans can fend for themselves. Trust me, she’ll be fine in or out of office. If she cares, she will do the right thing NOW.

I am curious why no one has mentioned the “Economic Offset” payments, that reportedly been written into the C&T bill, which will electronically transfer (direct deposit) funds in to the bank accounts of those listed as impoverished. The poorest will automatically be given $4,500, and the amount will decrease as the payees gross income reaches 150% of the poverty level.
It has been written in by the authors of the bill because they know that the coming tax increases to families is going to skyrocket.
What else is in this bill? Why the silence? I guess covering the deaths of celebrities is more important to the living, than things that actually impact the living.
