Caution: ACORN housing entitlement mob at work again

Obama’s ground troops are back. The ACORN criminal racket has moved away from illegally breaking into homes back to mobbing financial institutions. Today:
Protesters in more than a dozen cities across the country are demanding that a group of mortgage companies who benefited from federal bailout money participate in a government program designed to prevent foreclosures.
They say the companies should sign on to the Obama administration initiative called “Making Home Affordable.” The administration estimates it could help up to 9 million financially troubled homeowners stay in their homes…
The protests are scheduled Tuesday in 14 cities, including Philadelphia, Dallas, Boston, Los Angeles and Miami. They’re organized by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also known as ACORN.
Last time the ACORN housing entitlement mob was out and about, they helped send a foreclosure auctioneer to the hospital with chest pains.

Well, with Barney Frank demanding looser lending practices, here we go again.
What’s the point?
After cap and trade becomes law, no one will be able to afford to heat/cool/power their homes or run water or live.
We’ll all be homeless.
taxpayer funded criminal organization making demands. everytime this cesspool entity makes demands taxpayers get screwed. and it will continue until people stop taking it, acorn would be nothing if taxpayers weren’t picking up the tab. acorn scams support fraud and all kinds of criminal activities and this administration has given them free rein to do as they please. only we can stop both, this administration and acorn. we should start demanding an investigation into illegal activities.
Here we go again. Will the mortgage companies go along again. Sheeesh are their memories that short? Must be the drugs.
Who will investigate? Not many out there are doing that. Glenn Beck, Michelle Malkin. Anyone else? As Rags says, “Starve the Beast”. There are ways to stop the ACORN thugs…cut off their funding. And the American citizens have the way to do it, if they have the courage. Did I get that right, Rags?
And the uncritical, non-investigative MSM will back them one hundred percent! It’s just how things work now – everyone just seems to accept what the media tells them.
Yes, ma’am. That is what I believe in my bones.
We have to be committed, courageous, and creative. We can win with that.

They have firm control of the Federal Reserve which is monetizing the debt, they have firm control of Congress which is expanding that debt (Cap and Trade is but part) and are now ready to increase taxes-Cap and Trade again- which will make it more difficult for you to save and try to stave off personal debt.There is nothing dumb or stupid about these people–evil most certainly, traitors yes, marxist and fascist yes, dumb or stupid no.

My husband is still not on board, but he definitely agrees with the principle. It is getting serious enough out there that drastic measures are seeming less drastic all the time. Of course, it would take a lot of time and in the meantime they just keep printing more money!
Is owning a home now a right? Kinda like marriage between same gender individuals, anchor babies, health care, minimum wage, and government publications in every conceivable language?
Until that cash gift is gone and they can no longer pay their mortgage again.
Acorn needs to be strong-armed in a back alley. Fear of God put in them. It’s not the first choice for dealing with them, but there is no support in our gov’t for combating their illegal acts of extortion.
I saw the program on PBS about the guy in Florida helping “homeless” move into vacant houses. They brought up the ACORN mob breaking into the foreclosed house in Baltimore to “reclaim” the deadbeat ACORN poster child’s house. Only in passing did they mention the 4th degree burglary charge. My mother mentioned it to me later, and I had to explain what happened to get that house foreclosed and that the “damage” in the home was actually the result of the new owner doing renovation work.
As yet, I don’t have a response from PBS or my local channel.

If you are attending any of the July 4th protests, please make sure these people get due credit! It’s time to put up ever increasing pressure, and shine a spotlight on everyone responsible for any fascist action taking place in our government. IT IS OUR GOVERNMENT!!! Let’s start now to take it back.
We don’t need “crazed snipers”, nor mysterious “accidents” to remove these people and their “enforcers” from positions of power. All we need is the strength and power of the American people to stand as one, yelling in unison, “ENOUGH IS ENOUGH”, and vote these (_0_)’s out of office.

There are lots of levels of participation in the STARVE THE BEAST concept. We need everyone, and their help will be valuable. Some will do nothing more than provide support, or contribute their own ideas.
They can’t pay for their “gifted” mortgages…how can they afford to pay for:
Basic property maintenance?
Homeowner’s insurance?
Property taxes?
Is the taxpayer responsible for footing the bill for these items, as well?
This is one of those arenas where a police force and a local judge with a spine are needed.
One of the most settled areas of law is real property law (real estate). Foreclosure isn’t open to much interpretation.
Judges need to order foreclosures, and they need to enforce their orders with contempt.
Contempt is a pretty powerful remedy. If you are jailed for 30 days for contempt (in my state), you do 30 days. No good time.
Cops need to enforce trespass law, and B&E crimes.
First it was free big screen TVs now free homes! Rome may not be burning, but somehow I feel compelled to take fiddle lessons.
