As far as I can tell Sanford found a way to shut up a reporterette for a few hours a month, which looking at what passes for journalism is never a bad thing. Hell he deserves a medal. Maybe we can hook him up with Helen Thomas.

I maintain begging for forgiveness from anyone other than God and his wife is an exercise in futility. The rest of us don’t have a dog in this fight. We’re simply estounded at his total lack of morals and juvenile behavior. Why he still thinks others need/want to know the tabloid details elevates this whole sordid affair way higher than the position he holds.

What does this country consider “good”? “Evil”? How does our society view God? You still aren’t being fair to Mark Sanford, but y’know what? I think he’s having some serious mental health issues. Really. I mean the way he’s digging his own grave via diarrhea of the mouth? Is he so stupid that he doesn’t know when to shut up? No. I think he’s having mental problems and he should submit himself for evaluation immediately. Actually, he may not be competent right now, so perhaps means to compel him to be evaluated should be employed. This dude needs help really badly.

I REALLY hope you get what you ‘want’ here MM. I just don’t know what will happen if Sanford finishes out his term. . . you know, the term he was elected to finish – democracy.

Everything will be wonderful if he does leave office (how you say ‘rainbows and unicorns’). If he stays in office, we’re doomed.

Notice near the end when Helen Thomas says that he’s not answering the question and he says that’s because I didn’t know you were going to ask it. Bingo. They only have answers for questions they know of and approve before they are asked.

I heard that and my jaw dropped, asked myself ” did he really say that”? what a dolt…he’s actually worse than McCellen, who held the title.
