Check out “backlash” against Rep. King over Jacko comments
A whopping two people have contributed a whopping $75 to the new campaign to unseat NY GOP Rep. Peter King because he called Michael Jackson a “low-life” and a “pervert.”
HuffPo is promoting this lost cause.
Shamon!

“King should apologize.”
And what exactly would he be apologizing for, pray tell?
I heard these jokes and more from my 16 and 23 year old sons within a day of his death.
Leave it to young, heterosexual, non-PC men to say it like it is.
I never listened to his music, I was a bit older than his demographic although I do remember watching the Jackson 5′s Sat morning show. I was an Osmond fan back then (Donny especially of course!).
I’ve never seen Michael Jackson as anything more than a perverted, screwed up in the head druggie. It’s a sad thing to be given every opportunity to do something great with your life and to p*ss it away.
I’ve ignored almost all of the “news” that’s blanketed the airwaves. I don’t watch TV and I was much more interesting in the passing of the Crap and Tax bill in the House.
I also find the trend of distraught public mourning for celebrities extremely distastful. Do these people not have anything more meaningful in their lives to do? I have never once, even as a teenager with a crush, cried over a celebrity, alive or dead.

“MASH……Harry Morgan…… playing a looney tunes General…… asked the black pilot to break out in song and dance…then toddled off doing the same…”
LOL! Have not thought of that in YEARS. One of the best MASH scenes ever. All serious then suddenly tells the black pilot “But first, a tune…” Toddled off singing….. “Hey, Hey, Uncle Fud. Ain’t it neat to beat your feet on the Mississippi mud.” LOL!
I wouldn’t hold my breath.
Let’s try that again.
And you’re wasting time on this utter non-issue…why?
I don’t need politicians passing out moral guidance. I need them working to reduce spending.
Let’s leave the issuance of moral edicts to the Taliban.
North Korea shooting missiles, Iranian protesters getting hacked with axes, American military dying in Afghanistan, and on every freaking channel 24 hours of MJ.
Sorry, but the man was correct…every word coming out of his mouth. He has not one thing to apologize for, and shame on anyone who demands it of him.
MJ was nothing special. He was media hype back in the 80′s, and mmedia hype for the remainder of his life.
“South Park” had it right when they parodied him. When little Stan to;d him off, I damn near cheered. All this crap about how he didn’t have a childhood…well he was in his 30′s when he paid over 22 million to silence a child from disclosing how he molested him, and after you pay someone else to sell him their children, he needed to grow the hell up.
This man was a freak. I shed no tears for him. He liked to say he had no childhood, but thay did not give him the right to rob other children of theirs. Covering up your guilt and your sin with “good deeds” does not lessen nor forgive the evils thay were done.
The hysteria surrounding his death and circus that is his burial is an embarrassment. While those who live honestly and perform great works daily go uncelebrated and unnoticed, this man is being deified as if he were Christ himself.
Shame on this country for doing this. Shame on the parents of those who allowed him to get away with what he did, all in the name of money.
Very true. 1st thing on the 5 am radio news was all about MJ. I can imagine the radio reporting…”North Korea launched a nuke this morning, hitting the island of Oahu…but FIRST, a special report on the MJ funeral.”
“Governor Howard Dean, former Chairman of the DNC and My Left Gonad blame George Bush and Karl Rove for the death of the low life pervert and attack on Oahu-more at ten, back to the funeral with Barbie”
No one has mentioned the fact that stocks for white pancake makeup and face masks have collapsed. On the good side, every child under 10 breathes easier today…
The key reason for wall to wall media coverage of Michael Jackson is that it is easy to do through this or that interview – and it sells to a dumbed down American people taught to react emotionally to a “People” magazine story.
Real journalism requires effort, and the drive by media just doesn’t have the brainpower or work ethic to do it. And, by the way, there are lots of interesting and important stories that could come from the life story of Michael Jackson.
For example, the connection between homosexuality and pedophilia as recently exposed at Duke University. Yet Representative King, who provided the opportunity for such an analysis, is getting criticized for being politically incorrect.
Let’s get a conspiracy theory going: M. Jackson was injected with drugs by the Obama administration to take midget minds off of Obama’s power grabs.
Not.
But I am sure that the White House cannot believe its good fortune.
Remember MJ was a hero to the liberal media and liberals because he said he was doing it for the children, but they won’t admit he was doing or at least trying to do the children. He get a pass on the latter because of the former.
I wasn’t a big fan in his latter years, but no star or entertainment figure deserves this 24 hour news cycle times 12 because they died. Liberals are all about the symbolism of the figure and not about the figure. This why Obama and the Dems can trash the constitution and get a pass and GWB was called on every turn by the liberal media. One of the liberal rules is “Do as I say say not as I do.” BTW, I do think GWB made some constitutional missteps(ie. Porkulus 1).
King should not apologize, he’s calling it like many see it.
They made a big mistake asking for money for “a cause”. If they really wanted to make money they would have pimped out a picture of MJ on a t-shirt.
FOOLS
Only slightly off topic:
Pray for my in-laws. They have to drive their rig to a delivery near the Staples Center today.
I can’t imagine driving a semi through all that hysteria.
Alec Baldwin wants to run for Congress. Things are looking up – not!
lord if fox news doesn’t get off the saga of michael the perv and onto real news, i’m going to hurl. HE’S STILL DEAD 10 DAYS LATER! NEWS. i don’t give a crap what killed him, the only persons more irrelevant to society than michael are paris hilton and elizabeth taylor. LET’S MOVE ON!
I’m not so sure about the pedophile accusation. Jackson was weird and eccentric to say the least, but I’m bothered by the fact that after the initial charges were dismissed, another “mother” comes along to allow her kid to be exploited for money.
This is really sad. He started out as a seemingly well-adjusted, shy, good looking young man.
He was a gifted, talented musician. Then he spiraled down into bats**t crazy insanity with his countless plastic surgeries, odd behavior, and reclusive life.
What a waste.
Yup, same here. I feel sad when an old, familiar face passese on – like Ed McMahon, but it’s the way of the world that we are all passing through this place. There’s a bell waiting to toll for every human life.
There have always been the kooks who go nuts when some celeb or another dies, I think some girls even commited suicide when Rudolf Valentino died. Most of us take note when a celeb dies, but it’s not the end of our world.
The meida-driven demand that everyone run into the streets to cry “Woe! Woe is us!’ – and that some idiots will do it – is sign there’s something very wrong with contemporary society.
As Rep. King also said there are those worth remembering and mourning – our fighting men&women, the public servents who risk their lives, the unsung heroes and good samaritans. Someone who was a nice singer a decade and a score back and who wasted his life just doesn’t rank all that high on the list. In fact, he doesn’t even make that list.
Cheapo – are you old enough to remember the 70s SNLs ongoing gagline: “Generalissimo Francisco Franco is still dead”?
We come in nekkid…we leave nekkid.
MJ: 1958-2009
It’s the ‘dash’ between the dates that matters most. What we do during the ‘dash’ is what is most important.
Rep. King’s comments of Jacko are alot kinder then mine. There is nothing in this world lower then a child molester. And those that think this jerk is an idol should have their heads examined.
How I have handled MJ – If the news switches to MJ off goes the HDTV, if the radio switches to MJ off goes the radio.
I have no time to idolize that piece of garbage.
Are they going to bury him today or just have a memorial? I imagine they will wheel him out in a casket, let everyone have a peak, then back to the deep freeze, then out again for the afternoon matinee..
So far I’ve remained quiet on the MJ thing… However, to all the people FAWNING over him, one question… WOULD YOU LET YOUR 10 YEAR OLD SON DO A SLEEPOVER AT HIS HOUSE???
Again, I’m sooooo grateful I don’t have a TV. I haven’t had to deal with hardly any Jacko stuff. Except that even Drudge has succumbed to the Jacko pit. But I don’t have to read about it.
GOLDEN CASKET ON STAGE!
My response: WHO CARES?
GAH…
Rep. King is just saying what a lot of us are thinking.
So far 117 “supporters” have pledged $2,872. Every time I check this link, I think of how ridiculous it is. Now a public official can’t even point out the lowest of human behavior without someone calling for HIS head.
Why weren’t these wackos calling for Jacko’s head? Oh, I forgot, he was acquitted.
All he did was state the obvious
Regardless of MJ’s talent, he was a looney tune. That off the wall tendency negated any talent he had.
As for King’s comments, I love the people who tell it like it is.
Huff Po: give it up and go back the padded cell from whence you came.
Hurrah for King. He has the apples to stand up and talk straight. To watch the culture sink to the level of adoring a pedophile and druggie is just more than I can bear in silence. Jackson’s passing means that little boys are safer than they were; demand for drugs is less than it was. Looking over the mindless crowds, it runs through my thoughts “Democrats all.”
Is is safe to turn on the news or do I wait?
Thoughts:
MJ bought 3 white children…..almost like buying black children during the slave days
Why did he choose white sperm? Had he taken so many female hormones that he had no sperm of his own. Of course his sperm would have carried his DNA.
Why did he hate his male black face so bad that he did everything to change it to look feminine and white?
Why was Rush Limbaugh so maligned by the left, when he was addited to drugs, and why was MJ so adored when he was addited to drugs?
With enough money in America you can hire someone to anesthetize you every night.
Why did he pay someone off when accused of molestation instead of fighting the accusations if he was innocent?
Maybe the reason he could not sleep was due to a quilty conscious.
Will all of you please contact Rep. King and tell him to keep on speaking out about the wrongs of the world…Please!
And finally why doesn’t Al Sharpen shut up with the racism thing? I’ll tell you why, because that is all he has in his bag.
