    Yes. The GOP may think it’s being cutesy by “condemning” his actions in a vague statement, but what they are actually doing is ensuring that a Dem will be elected to take his place.

    Sanford should be asked to resign by the GOP if they wish to retain any credibility. I have heard that his Lt. Gov. is not very popular, so that will be a burden on the state for a while. But allowing this guy to continue on and hope everyone will forget the fact that he LEFT HIS OFFICE WITHOUT TRANSFERRING AUTHORITY is yet another hopeless misstep on the part of the GOP.

    And they (GOP) have the nerve to criticize Sarah for stepping down at the TOP of her game.
