On July 7th, 2009 at 9:52 am, Red State Skeptic said:
Doesn’t take much digging to see which side of the aisle has an integrity issue with matters such as these.
Is this a joke? Giuliani, Gingrich, Sanford, Vitter, Craig, Foley, Ensign… who am I missing? And of course Palin according to the Enquirer (whatever happened to that defamation lawsuit?) who were right on the money on John Edwards.

And yet, with all that fooling around by those you listed, no one died and not a single underage person got diddled.

You lose.

It’s good to have you back. Our trolls have been profilic as of late, so a friendly voice is welcome.

Did you hear? Michael Jackson died.

Doesnt sound familiar.... did he used comment on here as Mistress Justice? Should I send flowers?

Been hanging with the lib kids in Boulder and Portland lately. They are clueless as to how screwed up their future is. But Ive also come to realize that I dont think they even know who Obama is either. And they dont care.

Unfortunately I cant post in all these different worlds so I am just visiting for today. I still lurk from time to time as MM posts on Twitter.

cheapseat: welcome to the "reach-across-the-aisle" post-partisan world of the "new GOP". You have the Democratic Party, and then there is the "other" Democratic Party. Does that help?

i thought bill clinton and the democrats taught us that lying about sex wasn't lying and it was nobody except the immediate families business. so rss, why doesn't your rule apply here, i bet it will apply to the next democrat caught with his finger in the pie, so to speak. in my humble opinion all these masters of the universe are being hypocritical and naive to point fingers at others, because i doubt any of them could stand much true scrutiny of their background. this is why i hope sarah palin will get a tv show and expose these hypocrite msm scum and political trash. if anyone deserves some payback, it's her.

There was a time when a South Carolina governor had much more personal integrity. This is the epitath of Governor Patrick Noble, who died in office in 1840:

HERE REPOSE THE MORTAL REMAINS OF
PATRICK NOBLE

Who died at Abbeville Court House
the 7th Day of April 1840 in the 53rd
year of his age.
He was a native of Abbeville
district which he represented
successively in the Senate and House of
Representatives of South Carolina during
a long course of years and was finally
elected Governor which office he held at
the time of his death. As a public
servant he was distinguished by moderation
resulting from a mild and even temperament,
and by a firmness of purpose proceeding from
a high sense of duty, and a sound judgment
drawing its conclusions from careful and
dispassionate examination. In all the relations
of private life he was singularly exemplary and
in public and private such was the unblemished
purity of his character that both friends and
opponents would concur in inscribing on his tomb

Here Lie The Bones Of
An Honest Man

The example of his virtues, silently
impressed upon the community in which he lived, contributed largely to the high moral character of his native District and long will that District, in common with the whole State,
deplore his loss.

Where are such statemen today?

Thanks for validating my comments. Take your list and my list and compare what happened to each person in terms of their office, leadership positions, committee positions, etc.

Rep. Jefferson was removed from one committee, otherwise NO ACTION whatsover taken against any of these Democrats for misconduct IN THEIR OFFICE (except Kennedy who killed someone).

P.S. Add Chris Dodd to my list.
