Sheila Jackson-Lee hits rock bottom; Update: Video added

By Michelle Malkin  •  July 7, 2009 03:10 PM

Oh, no, she didn’t.

Oh, yes, she did.

Democrat Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee just pimped the stupidest House resolution ever on stage at the Jacko memorial at Staples Center. She held up a big, framed copy of it as the crowd cheered. That was after she extolled “The King,” painted him as the world’s greatest humanitarian, and demagogued the child molestation cases by proclaiming that members of Congress “understand the Constitution” and “we understand laws” and we know that “people are INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE!”

Yes, she did. Right there in front of Jacko’s three children.

I thought Al Sharpton’s memorial rant (“There was nothing strange about your daddy!”) was the low point for American culture.

Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee, you win.

Question: Who paid for Jackson-Lee’s flight to L.A.?

Rep. Sheila Jackson = pathetic, racist, cow. sorry but I am not in the mood for any more crap from these sicko, black, racist, bastards…now don’t jump to conclusions out there, that means you libturds like rss, lgm and others of the same ilk. I didn’t say nor did I insinuate all blacks are racist, now we have that out of the way.
MJ was somewhat talented in music(not a fan obviously, never was), had a difficult damaging childhood which is a shame. Ended up a sick, drugged, pervert…why with all his money didn’t he get some damn good therapy?

If congress wants to recognize someone as a hero to mankind let them stand and salute the fallen war heroes of this country, you know the ones that afford the rest of us the freedoms we enjoy. What a bunch of ungrateful, butt wipes the majority of congress is.

Agreed. And I have not had the tv on all day. Sounds like it was a good move.

Me, too. Took the kids to a local national battlefield so they could learn about what REAL sacrifice and heroism is all about. Day well spent.

While the too short life of MJ is over, it is a comfort to know that he lives on within us. His struggles, pain, suffering and ultimate triumph is a lesson and inspiration to us all. He has touched every one of us and enriched our lives in so many ways. Through his musical genius, humanitarian generosity and love of all mankind he left a legacy that is unequaled by any human past and present.

From this day forward, when faced with difficult life choices each and every one of us should ask:

    WWJD

    What would Jackson do?

Every adult who ever had anything to do with Michael Jackson was and is a jackal and a parasite. If anyone had actually cared about him and where his life was headed, they would have done some sort of intervention on his behalf. They would have gambled their friendly relations with him in order to try to turn his life around.

Instead, every one of them either looked the other way, or gave tacit approval in one way or another with what he was doing with himself and those he was affecting around him (far too often, little children). And, who was MJ? He had the emotional maturity of a six year-old himself. He was never in any position to know what was or wasn’t right for him to do or not to do.

So now he’s destroyed himself, and all of these jackals and blood-suckers have come out of their holes and nests to “pay tribute” to this guy–which in reality they’re simply there to make sure that it can be said that they attended the event of the decade, and to try to out-do each other in their “tributes” to this sad creature.

Everything about this is utterly disgusting to me. All of the hoopla and fanfare about it, with the ticket-selling and money-making that was done, it turned something that should have been a solemn affair into a circus. Had they any shame and humanity whatsoever, they would have made it as private as possible, and would have tried to make it a memory as something for his progeny and for those who will personally miss him.

Instead, just as in life, in Jackson’s death the hyenas and buzzards are getting as much out of this sad creature’s existence as they can. Every last one of them have left the final measure of their humanity at the garbage heap, and have become the very ghouls and zombies who danced in “Thriller.”

No matter how you feel about Jackson or Jackson-Lee, the latter is exactly correct in this statement. That’s how our criminal court system works. If you have evidence to the contrary, you should have presented it to the authorities. You still could, if you like; perhaps there are some victims out there who could collect damages from Jackson’s estate as a result of your cooperation.

It’s disturbing to have to remind anyone, especially those who frequent an allegedly Conservative blog, of this simple, fundamental fact. Tossing aside the presumption of innocence in order to persecute others is a tactic I expect from the Democratic Underground or Daily Kos denizens. Apparently, at least some on the Right are joining that race to the bottom.

I know I will be crucified for this but MJ did give a lot of his money and time to over 25 charities – one thing I respect him for.

I know that I will be crucified for this as well but I am not convinced MJ was a pedophile. Some of what he did with the boys at Neverland was very inappropriate but the proof of true sexual abuse just isn’t there. Not only did he give to charities and create a free playland for poor and sick children, he would visit hospitals weekly. He would take groups of kids to bookstores and pay for as many books as they wanted.
He appealed to peoples of all countries who felt underprivileged and forgotten.
Overall, I’d say he was a much finer person, in spirit, than Obama could ever hope to be.
