Rep Reichert’s letter illustrates the leftward drift of a traumatized group of Repub politicians who think they can save their arses by becoming Dems-lite. We need to keep reminding them at every chance that this is not so, but they seem to have tuned us conservatives out already. 2010 will be a VERY interesting year; will the Repubs wake up in time to seize the chance to make the Dems pay for their socialist power-grabs?

Keep in mind that although Reichert was the first elected Sheriff of King County in modern times theat I am aware of, attention should have been paid to the fact that he was initially appointed Sheriff of the same county by the King County Council, before he ran for election as Sheriff. King County is and has been THE liberal county of Washington State for a very long time.

In hindsight, the previous facts should have made conservatives suspicious of his motives when he tacked pretty conservatively on KVI interviews about 10 years ago.

He played a good song and dance. WE need to do better next time up here.

At least Tim GOT a response, albeit an incredibly self-serving and inane word grouping that had lots of words and said NOTHING! Typical polictico BS response.

Based on the complete lack of any response, my message to Reichert went completely unnoticed. Perhaps his next campaign should also go unnoticed.

Reichert now has 3 terms in office…He now qualifies for Congressional retirement pay, hence his indifference.
