Tried to visit the site several times this morning.

I was begining to think that the Obama “Thought Police” had shut you down ;)

Same here. Hope you’re not still in Denver…the west side suburbs had devistating storms last night.

Missed both of the sites as well, my day only works well when I’m able to check out both sites throughout the day, like others had feared you had been hacked or a virus had been planted. Great to know everything is working good now. Hope you have a great day Michelle and thanks for all of the hard work, both by you and Allah over at HOTAIR.

Dang, thought it was a hack job for sure. Kept trying from home this morning and then again at work. All I got was a plain white page – here and at Hot Air.

I am happy, happy, happy to have you back.

    Huh? What? Server issues?

See what happens when you get too busy to check in?

Glad I missed feeling the pain of withdrawal and dread.

Tell those techies to be more careful next time. Mark that power cord clearly so they don’t trip over it again!

michelle: in this time of msm bias-palooza, and with your resources and abilities, it would be a great service to america if you would shine the light on our msm personalities. i just read of the npr editor who walked after downloading child rape porn. he’d suffered enough. we have all manner of perverts, crazies, and criminals telling us daily what is the truth. if i go to the web, i can take what someone says and evaluate that for what it is. but when i turn on a msm outlet, i have an expectation that the ownership of that company has done some due dilligence in evaluating their people. yet we have anchors attacking people over driving too slow in new york, pedophiles at npr, stalkers in philadelphia, wife beaters in st louis, someone needs to shine the light on these people who are our news disseminators.

That would make sense in the case of a “DOS’ or hack attack by lefties on Michelle’s site. But “HotAir”? Com’n, it’s pretty much become HuffPo Lite there – or HuffPo On Steroids, depending on the day of the week.

The html code looked like someone had just cleared out the entire main page.

That html is just a placeholder a server puts up when they’re doing some tinkering. It’s saying “yes, the site’s still here, just the usual content isn’t available at this time”. Sometimes you’ll see something like “be back soon” in simple text, though. If it were hacked you’d see a brag page instead (any hacker worth his/her salt wouldn’t miss a chance to take credit.)

When in doubt you can do a couple of things: one, check out another reliable blog site – ferexampull, Instapundit posted at about 8AM this morn that both sites were okay, just doing some housekeeping.

Also handy is this link which will tell if any site is “up” or not:

Down for everyone or just me?

I told my wife this morning that I thought your sites had been knocked off the net as part of Obama’s effort to shove his health care plan down our throats. The polls show he’s lost popular support, so it’s time to suppress the “dissident” members of the media.

Hmmm. Is taking down opposing web sites one of the functions of the technology czar? If so, I’m sure he’ll get better at it with practice…

I figured either the new Communications Czar was starting to shut down the internet voices of the opposition or you got hit with a denial of service attack from the kos-types.

My exact same thoughts. I actually sort of panicked since MM and Hot Air sites are on top of my must-read daily.

    So glad you’re back!
