When 2012 rolls around, unemployment rate is still in high-teens (if not twenties) in many states, inflation has destroyed our currency, and there is no end to the panic and crisis, even these two won’t be able to vocally support THE ONE anymore.

Yes, Obama is inflicting even more long term damage to the economy and the society than FDR was doing, but the FED is acting much better than it was in the early 1930′s, and the global economy is much different.

Even just four years of Obama and the Democrat Congress running amok is likely to destroy us, given their ability to inextricably entangle us with ‘international agreements’ destructive to America (on top of the obvious internal destruction). Russ Carnahan was also featured on Foxnews when the owner of MacArthur’s bakery put up a big digital sign saying that Carnahan’s vote on Cap ‘N Trade was going to put he and other small business owners out of business.

you have to understand who russ carnahan is to fully get the irony. russ and his sister who is mo. sec of state, are the children of our famous dead senator, gov carnahan. in 2000, gov carnahan was running for a senate seat, died in a plane crash a month before the election, couldn’t be removed from the ballot, so a deal was made that if he was elected, his wife would be appointed to his seat by the then acting dem governor.he did, and she was, lasted 2 years because she was a bucket of hair, and this simpathy vote launched the careers of his 2 dimwitted children. russ has a gerrymandered democrat congressional seat made up primarily of white union workers, and just last week had to try to stomp the fire of a famous bakery business in his district placing a huge add on their sign asking russ why he voted to put them out of business (cap and tax bill). so in the space of about 3 weeks, russ has had his head handed to him by his constituents twice. mo. has been a consistent presidential winner bellweather state for over 100 years, having only missed voting for the eventual winner twice, once for adleigh stevenson (illinois favorite son) and this last election john mccain. so while we sometimes vote for dead people, we don’t get fooled by community organizers. maybe we’re just racist as lgm would say, but st louis county has a black ceo, as does kansas city.

My fondest wish…
It’s been said (or hinted at) a couple of times in this thread, but it bears repeating: The only reason Rusty Carnahan is in office is because of who his daddy was, and the sympathy vote. And, frankly, I don’t think it’s going to matter how many toes he steps on among his constituents, he’s representing a St. Louis district – where they’ll do anything to make sure the D on the ballot wins.
Even worse, his sister, who is our current secretary of state (and who successfully got voter ID requirements thrown out in a court case), is running for Kit Bond’s soon to be vacant Senate seat. I fear the Carnahan legacy will put her in that job, and MO will have not one, but two Obama sycophants “representing” us in DC.
