Cap-and-tax 8 hypocrisy watch: Reichert’s GaGa gag

GOP Rep. Dave Reichert is a real piece of work.

The Republican cap-and-tax 8′er from Washington state apparently went to a GOP conference meeting this week and showed the audience a pop music parody video that substitutes Lady GaGa’s famous “Just Dance” chorus with the words “Just Tax.”

Rep. Reichert was trying to show fellow House members how to be hip and reach younger generations with the GOP anti-tax message.

“He wanted them to encourage the youth in their district, and share the message on a level that young people can relate to,” Reichert’s spokeswoman told CNN.

But what Reichert really showed was complete obliviousness to his own high-taxing ways.

He was only one of eight Republicans to vote for Obama’s massive energy tax.

He’s got a hell of a lot of nerve complaining about high taxes.

Absolutely agree about Reichert, but let’s not discourage young conservatives like Peter Cowman who happen to live in Reichert’s district.

While Reichert might be clueless and hypocritical on conservative principles, Cowman’s video wasn’t.

Granted, Peter’s not a likely contestant for American Idol, but his lyrics are clever.

Well, if being hip is where it’s at fellow cool daddies, then why don’t we just dump these squaresville geezers and lame rino squishes and draft Lady GaGa herself? Seriously folks, it couldn’t be any worse. Remember how Paris Hilton came up with the best energy plan last year?

I live in the Seattle region and have had to endure Reichert for many a year. I don’t think I’m the only rightwing knuckle-dragging cro-magnon desperate to send him packing. At least with a democrat there is a chance we can mess with their minds and get them to go with us some of the time. With a rino, there is no mind to mess with. No principles either. No nothing.

Perhaps the voters in Washington can send the lad to a retirement home for oblivious clowns and unhipsters. Yes a home in the country–far away from real people and with high walls and secure gates. And remember-It is always RINO season.

The Gang of Eight of New Jersey, New York, California, Delaware and Illinois-the Land of Obama, Capone, the Black Stone Nation and too many Daly’s. And just WHY do we want to be UNITED with those states? But those eight pictures should be posted on America’s Most Wanted ;)

Just NOW I got a call from the Republican Senatorial Committee–SEND MONEY TO STOP OBAMA. The people who make those calls are generally volunteers so I was polite. BUT I WILL SEND THE RNSC NOTHING and TWICE THAT LATER.

I’m thinking iced tea balloons to be thrown, dropped, or launched at any so-called Republican who votes for any of Obama’s Crappin’ Tax programs and has the temerity to speak about opposing “Tax ‘n’ Spend.” I would, of course, warn anyone involved in such actions to ensure that the iced tea balloons were fully thawed before said throwing, dropping, or launching. Liability concerns, y’know.

Hope is not a plan; not all change is good. WE are the civilian national security force! “Don’t tax me, bro!” There is danger in building your forces to fight the last war or the current war. We need the F-22 and the F-35. The resistance is here; the resistance is now! RESIST!!!!!!!!
