The anti-police bigotry of the Left
Who’s surprised that President Obama trashed police officers as “stupid” on national TV and implied they were racist despite “not having been there and not seeing all the facts, what role race played in that?”
This is Barack Obama, friend of cop-targeting domestic terrorist Bill Ayers, whose door sports a picture of convicted cop killer Mumia Abu Jamal.
This is Barack Obama, leader of the Democrat Party, which still embraces police-hater Al Sharpton
.
“I might be a little biased,” Obama admitted before unleashing on the police.
We know. We know.
***
Facts Barack Obama didn’t bother to find out before bashing the cops in the Henry Louis Gates incident:
The Cambridge cop prominent Harvard University professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. claims is a racist gave a dying Reggie Lewis mouth-to-mouth resuscitation in a desperate bid to save the Celtics [team stats] superstar’s life 16 years ago Monday.
“I wasn’t working on Reggie Lewis the basketball star. I wasn’t working on a black man. I was working on another human being,” Sgt. James Crowley, in an exclusive interview with the Herald, said of the forward’s fatal heart attack July 27, 1993, at age 27 during an off-season practice at Brandeis University, where Crowley was a campus police officer.
It’s a date Crowley still can recite by rote – and he still recalls the pain he suffered when people back then questioned whether he had done enough to save the black athlete.
“Some people were saying ‘There’s the guy who killed Reggie Lewis’ afterward. I was broken-hearted. I cried for many nights,” he said.
Crowley, 42, said he’s not a racist, despite how some have cast his actions in the Gates case. “Those who know me know I’m not,” he said.

» We Hear From The Department Of Good Ideas And False Choices

I was waiting for MM to run this story. They were talking about it on Imus this morning too. This is such crap; playing identity politics on this one. He’s the head of the executive branch for goodness sake. Support the police, not bash them! This is one reason why I prefer ex-military or someone with some kind of experience with law enforcement in the highest office in the land, they would at least hear the cop’s side of the story.
Like it was said on Imus, how would you like being the police officer that has to explain to his kids why the POTUS basically called daddy a stupid bigot.
PS. FIRST!
… and if the Sgt. had NOT done his job and the break-in was for real, he would be tarred as not caring for the black community. There’s no winning position here. Sgt. Crowley, don’t apologize for doing your job! And Obama, butt out!
Maybe the cops in this professor’s area need to stop patrolling over there, the way Joe Arpaio does it here. If the residents don’t want to abide by the law, the maybe they don’t need the law to protect them.
I posted this on the previous thread…
Of all the stupid things he said in last night’s ’speech’, saying the po-po acted ’stupidly’ has got to be the stupidest thing.
oh, and Mister Gates’ attorney was quoted on this morning’s news as using the cozy term ‘Barack’ when mentioning the POTUS.
Isn’t that special. I guess we’re all friends now!
Well, except for the po-po.
I told mrcakes that’s the one thing I’ll take from this speech. (Well, that and the requisite mention of Bush and ‘I won’.)
That dumb president should have never commented. He’s done more to hurt racial relations in this country than white presidents combined. He’s just doing what he always does, using his position as a bully pulpit.
Personally, I feel race relations are as bad as at any time I can remember since the late 60s.
It feels different now in some ways, but really NOT good…
Rags, now that you brought that up, I do too.
Not a good feeling, as you said.
An easy solution for the racist president… put the black panthers in charge in law enforcement…
… wait until POTUS visits Boston… hahaha … I’m sure the blue line will be tripping over themselves to serve that detail …
spacey – and you’ll agree, they play off each other and if he wasn’t in the game, he would have said that he doesn’t know the facts so he can’t comment. But at every turn, he cannot be “disloyal” to his race. Dysfunctional to the core.
The President has never met a black racsist he didn’t like.
I’ve been around 50 years. It may not be a lot of time to some, but I’ve seen my share of life. And, its my opinion that race relations have taken a giant leap backwards with this president. He is nothing more than an race bater who has played identity politics his whole life.
When is President Obama going to start acting Presidential and not like a community activist? You’re the President Of The United States fer crying out loud! Grow up! Other than that, I have no strong feelings.
Before the Boston Globe took it down, (I think they scrubbed it?), I was able to read the arrest report and clearly see that it was for “disorderly conduct”. Obama LIED yesterday misrepresenting the arrrest as though Gates was arrested for breaking into his own house and that racism appeared to be a factor. Is BHO going to say that I and everyone else had a ‘leg up’ being able to read that report; that he wasn’t afforded access to the same information we all read? … BS OBAMA!!!
OH how I hope that Donna Lewis keeps raising a stink to inform the world, and liar Obama, that Sergeant Crowley was the first responder who diligently tried to save the life of her husband Reggie Lewis 16 years ago at Brandeis.
Not exactly consistent with the actions of a ‘racist’ is it BHO? Is it? Tell us you stinking LIAR.
It’s obvious that our police forces are another one of Obama’s enemies.
I would disagree.
I believe that what we are seeig is that the party that still plays the race card is fully in power. We also have a devoted follower of Reverend Wright in the White House.
So, what you have is the emergence of all of those black racist factions that want payback. Time to make Whitey squirm. And the Democrats tolerate them, because they are votes and turmoil helps their cause. The President embraces them, because he’s a kindred spirit.
The rest of the country has grown beyond that. However, “Progressives” never grow. They are in this endless philosophical loop that is unchanged since the 1920′s on “social justice” and since the 1960′s on race.
There is not one progressive thing about Progressives.
One gets the overall feeling that blacks are incapable of viewing any given event without automatically assuming racism is involved somehow should there be a white person within 20miles of whatever is going on.
Obama Channeled Al Sharpton Last Night On Gates Arrest:
http://tinyurl.com/l6dbvj
Seriously Rogue, he does not know how and never will.
Obama is the ultimate example of the Peter Principle.
He was, is, and will remain an empty suit. Name one job beyond community organizing he grew into? His record as a State Senator and U.S. Senator is totally without accomplishment. This was thoroughly predictable.
fixed
I’m sure if you were to peruse the arrest report it would state something like ‘disorderly conduct/resisting arrest’ and not ‘being black’.
***
President Obama (PBUH) lives in a different country than I do. America’s enemies are his friends. He thinks about police racial motivations before getting the complete story–he feels that most police are racist.
***
I have known a lot of police and military persons of all races and ethnic backgrounds. Almost all are decent honest persons who may have to lay their lives down to protect mine.
***
There are always a few “bad apples” in every group–but they are the minority. The Messiah was elected by a lot more non-black votes than black votes–a lot of people saw more than his skin color and liked him. Racism really is dead in the U.S.A.–time to move on–time to ignore the professional race baiters.

First of all, Harvard should be ashamed to have a WEB DuBois Institute. It is a tribute to a communist, and the place where Gates “works”. I agree with the previous comment that there is no way for the cop to win in the racist eyes of the progressives. If he responds to the call of the break-in, he’ll be called a racist, if he doesn’t, he’ll be called a racist. I’m just finishing Liberal Fascism. It is quite revealing. I recommend it to anyone who hasn’t already read it.
Secondly, Gellar of AtlasShrugs nailed it in her WND column:
http://www.wnd.com/index.php?fa=PAGE.view&pageId=104621
Yesterday, I was at a doctor’s office and a woman was going on and on about Crowley. CNN was on the TV and Soledad O’Brien, the news commentator, was reciting the typical liberal line. Fortunately, the women’s husband told her to keep quiet, that she didn’t have all the facts and if paid attention to CNN and the local newspaper she never would get all the facts. He then smiled and told her the reason Obama got in office in the first place and the problems the country now faces is because “people like you got their news from CNN and MSNBC and missed the real story.” She shut up after that.
Another case of mouth and brain acting independently. Life just hasn’t been the same for Obama since he had to borrow Joe Biden’s teleprompter after last week’s tragic teleprompter assassination.
I like Gates’ work but apparently he suffers from a bad case of “Don’t you know who I am!!??”. Next time someone breaks into his home, maybe he should call the Revs Jesse and Al.
And lose the active security alarm service. It’s nothing more than a tool to trap white police doing their job.
You’re looking at it backwards. Obama’s goal is not to rise to the Office of the President… it’s to drag the Office of the President down to his level.
It’s ironic that the majority of people who continue to fret over race are those of African descent. Most Americans simply do not care anymore. We are willing to accept people for who they are, regardless of the color of their skin. Besides, most people, including the POTUS, are of mixed ethnicity. The fastest way to stop racism is to quit talking about different “races”.
This is what Donna Lewis had to say in the Boston Herald.
Yesterday, Lewis’ widow, Donna Lewis, was floored to learn the embattled father of three on the thin blue line of a national debate on racism in America was the same man so determined to rescue her husband.
“That’s incredible,” Lewis, 44, exclaimed. “It’s an unfortunate situation. Hopefully, it can resolve itself. The most important thing is peace.”
Should anyone be surprised that BHO would say that the police were stupid without knowing all the facts? After isn’t he doing the same thing with healthcare?
Point of interest…. comments in the local media outlets are running 80-90% in favor of Sgt.Crowley
I had a long debate about this with a liberal friend yesterday. Coincidentally enough, I saw the blogs about this topic over at Legal Insurrection, whose author is a professor at Cornell… same university my amigo attends as a doctoral student in history. Uweeheehee!
Michelle, did he say “Boston Police”? They have nothing to do with the Cambridge Police.
Personally, I’m glad he tripped over his raciest words. Watch as his poll numbers drop faster than a lead ball in a vacuum tube.
I love the way Obama referred to blacks and hispanics being “disproportianately” stopped. Where are the numbers on that? Let’s look closer at who commits crime.
Had the officer done nothing he would have been called a racist because he didn’t stop the burglars from robbing a black mans house. He didn’t know who the guy was and apparently the professor didn’t think it was a good idea to cooperate.
If I’m the officer and I don’t know who lives there I have to assume the person entering the house could be armed. I don’t take chances. This idiot professor knew what he was doing. He could have cooperated and nothing would have happened. He chose not to cooperate for obvious reasons.
20 years in a racist church will do that to ya.
Is this behavior a surprise to anyone?
Let’s see what we have here;
A man is breaking into a house, a neighbor sees him and calls the police to report a break in. The police arrive, see the man in the house with a broken in door and ask him to identify himself. The man refuses and starts screaming at the police about racism and profiling.
It’s obvious who the racist is here.
Whether the “rest of the country has grown beyond that” or not is beside the point. It is clear the overwhelming majority of blacks have not and will not. The fact that the mask is coming off of Obama, no more hope&change drivel but 24/7 race, race, and more race is actually a relief. Now at last we know where we stand — get whitey, whatever it takes.
To be fair to Obama, there are a lot of stupid white people out there — a good many of whom voted for him. My own sense is his goal will never change: to set himself up as dictator of his own “nation” with his own army (whether in or out of office) with consequences that will be very grim indeed.
Note: I accept any and all charges of racism.
Danceswithdachshunds: Thanks for the fix, that is a far more accurate statement.
Actually, shouldn’t that be “PO’-leece”?
How ‘Unpresidential’ to insert his opinion into such a situation.
There is a complicated history between Police and black people. There are too many negative anecdotes that feed into this situation. And yes, there are positive anecdotes. The reality is testosterone gets involved, too. Call it ego if you want to.
Gates no doubt pushed Crowley’s buttons. They are both humans, and therefore have emotions.
Could be, that this is the only reason Gates was arrested.
Call it Police bashing. I won’t. I will call it, questioning the decision to arrest some one for disorderly conduct, when the reality is, it was about two people being human.
They both could have behaved better.
This racist POTUS had NO BUSINESS commenting on that case, or any case that has not even been settled yet, on national TV during a press conference on Health”care”. Who the he11 does he think he is?? For him to have commented could very well change the outcome of this case. Obama, butt out! What a tool for the black bigots of the world.
That says it pretty darned well…
But no amount of sensitivity training will penetrate the anger and loathing that I think THE ONE holds…and I’m sure ShellieO holds.
They have no reason to change.
Anybody want to start a pool on how long it takes Acorn and SEIU to show up at the Cambridge cop shop, or the officer’s front door step?
Isn’t it convenient that Dear Leader goes to a planted reporterette with a pre-arranged question in order to create a racially-charged sideshow at the same point that his failures are looming large in the American consciousness?
True; my own cousin was one of them. She has never voted for a Democrat in the entire twenty years that she has been able to vote. However, she felt that by electing a “black” POTUS, people would finally stop crying “racism”. I haven’t spoken to her since Christmas but I’d love to know if she thinks her plan worked.
There was no case. The charges had been dropped earlier in the day.
There are no surprises here. We are hearing from the same media with the same distorted views they have had for decades and a President simply saying the same things said by his pastor, wife, pals, and self. We got what we (57 million citizens)expected. Too bad that a good cop takes a public hit for doing his job, HUMMMM; Joe the plumber, Jim the cop?
Sensitivity training is a joke.
For someone who claims to want our nation to rise above identity politics, President Obama does an excellent job of inflaming racial tensions.
Wow!!
Did I just time-travel back to high school in the late 60s?!
They would not have been dropped if the person arrested had been white.
You see this exact same senerio play out on almost every episode of cops.
we now have hate crimes which can ONLY be applied to white felons, we have the pres allah calling out a cop for asking to see some guys i.d. when he had been called by a neighbor on a suspected burglary. why didn’t the neighbor recognize professor high and mighty? maybe the neighbor was fed up with his neighbor’s attitude and decided a little harrassment was in order, and of course the cops are the villains. who knows the facts vs the motives? but it is “clear and present danger” material when the potus decides to go after people who offend his posse.
On July 23rd, 2009 at 11:21 am, granite said:
LOL, granite. I thought I was reading one of those “Why Mommy is a Democrat” books.
Oh. No. You. di-dunt.
Are you, by chance, a police officer?
What I am taking from this is if you are a cop, you should never question a black man, ever. Because if you do you are racist.
I used to live in Cambridge and when I lived there, there was a very large black population. There was also a very large ultra-liberal white population who were notorious for being pretentiously unpretentious (the Volvo they never waxed preferring the less bourgeois faded patina?) If there is a racist attitude in Cambridge, it doesn’t lie with the police but with the condescending white snobs who live in the upscale neighborhoods. Think Barbara Boxer.
Chap, you say you’re a lawyer? Then you know that a case that is dropped is still a “case”, part of the police record. If there’s no case, why is Gates demanding an apology? If there’s no case then why did Obama offer an opinion about it?
STFU.
There we go. Comments are back, that was weird. It looks like someone’s comment got axed too. IIRC This would have been post #58.
Perhaps someone got the ban stick. Only speculating, of course.
Salt:
Ohhhh! That would be something. Consider the swearing (guilty), off-topic dsicussion (guilty), flame-wars (guilty), commerical advertising (not guilty), shameless blog plugs (not guilty) that goes on here, I really wonder just how badly you have to ‘eff up to get banned.
Reposted:
Are you serious? How stupid is this comment?
If your asinine definition of “case” was what happy was talking about, then she would be implying Obama could NEVER comment on it since there is always a record. How “case” equals “record” in your mind is baffling.
Uh…because he was arrested in front of his neighbors? That doesn’t change just because the charges were dropped, does it? I am not saying he is right. Sounds like he got belligerent. But I can’t for the life of me figure out why you are surprised when people want an apology when they feel they have been wronged.
You do understand there is a difference between commenting on the situation surrounding an arrest and there being an active open case, don’t you?
Michelle -
Your post link to “Boston radio talk show host Michael Graham sets Obama straight on the facts” is incorrect – it just leads back to your post here.
Obviously this Cambridge cop is biased because only white men are the ones committing break-ins!
I see the evidence every night on the Brinks (now Broadview) commercials where homeowners are terrorized by break-ins at their homes!
Whether it is the stalking ex-boyfriend, the two creeps sneaking around in the bushes, the mom who thinks her daughter is locked out, the daughter who is left at home when her parents go out, or the jogger who watches the man of the house drive off, the only ones kicking in doors are white males.
/sarc off
BTW, why do these women all run for the phone when the break-in occurs? My wife and I have discussed such a situation and she knows to get her gun, solve the problem and then get on the phone to call the police/coroner.
Compare and contrast what happened with Mr. Gates and Mr. Alford (when he dealt with Sen Boxer). Also, think back to what is being said in one case, and not the other.
If, it was acceptable for Mr. Alford to respond the way he did to Sen Boxer, then why is it not OK for Mr. Gates to respond the way he did?
Mr. Alford saw race, as Mr. Gates did. Yet, each is being treated differently. Sure, it will be said that Sen Boxer mentioned the NAACP, and we do not know exactly what was said between Officer Crowley and Mr. Gates. But, it must be acknowledged that Sen Boxer first mentioned the Pew Study being read into the record and that Mr. Alford had no problem with that.
Mr. Gates had just returned from a trip abroad. Mr. Alford had been testifying for a while. Both, were probably out of sorts and may have had worn patience.
This is as much about what was said, and what was going on in each of those gentlemen’s minds. Whatever the catalyst was for each man reacting the way he did, the deeply woven thread, of race, within the fabric of our Nation is part of the equation. It continues to have an impact.
I am not going to pretend to have an answer, and couldn’t place myself in their position, but I believe I understand it. What I do not understand is why each incident is being treated and reacted to differently.
Yep, two black men reacting to what they consider to be racism.
Why is the President saying anything about a local matter such as this? Why can’t that idiot keep his stupid yap shut about things that don’t involve him or the federal government? How can I possibly take another three-and-a-half years of this dolt?
No.
Chap, ordinary humans understand that whether “dropped” or not, the case is alive in that Gates’s lawyer says they are weighing a lawsuit based on the arrest. The report filed will become part of the record should Gates be foolish enough to sue.
But thanks to Il Douche shooting off his mouth, I would expect the Cambridge Police Dept. to welcome a civil suit. They could note that their right to a jury trial is now hopelessly compromised by the bias displayed by the POTUS on national TV.
As for this:
JUST BECAUSE you “feel” you have been wronged does not mean you HAVE been wronged. And it should be noted that Gates was arrested after he went out of his house in pursuit of the police sgt. If he got arrested in front of his neighbors, it was his own frackin fault.
Just like all the terrorists in Hollywood movies are white guys, unless it’s based on a true story.
BTW, Cambridge was one of the very few communities in the US that backed Jesse Jackson for President what seems like two centuries ago. I’ll bet some of those old Volvos still bear the old bumper stickers.
It is obvious that Happy was discussing the current criminal case.
And I didn’t say he objectively DESERVED an apology. I am just surprised that you would be surprised that someone that subjectively heels they were wronged would ask for an apology, or how this proves whatever point you were trying to make.
“Reposted:
Chap, you say you’re a lawyer? Then you know that a case that is dropped is still a “case”, part of the police record.”
I think the idea is more that it’s not a closed case and that charges could be re-filed in the future, Chap. If he had been charged, tried & found not guilty, then 2x jeopardy would come into play, of course.
Last night was more foot-in-mouth embarrassing than usual for Obama – “doctors are vile & greedy, police are stupid”. You’d think with all the time his handlers spent setting up a faux Q&A – I miss the spontaneity of real, pre-Obama presidential press conferences – they’d tell him not to say dumb stuff off the top of his uninformed head.
Yeah, when you got the POTUS attacking you personally and poisoning the potential jury pool that’s a very solid point.
Oh fer pete’s sake. Happy clearly thought the criminal charges were still pending. They are not open nor will they be reopened. That is all I said, or rather clarified for happy. I did not say anything about the substance of Obama’s comment. In fact, it was stupid and ill advised.
but Gates suing in 3…2…1…
b-cat: Even when it is a superb, fictional novel it can’t go from a book to the silver screen. Case in point — Tom Clancy’s Sum of All Fears which featured mid-eastern terrorists in the novel that morphed into German neo-fascists in the movie.
Hmmmm…honestly don’t see that happening.
I’m not surprised that you don’t understand.
It’s early yet. Wait until he gets an earful from the Revs Jackson and Sharpton.
Rogue Cheddar: More likely Al Sharpton will incite a crowd to burn down the Cambridge PD.
Do you know how disgusting it is to do mouth to mouth on somebody? (been there done that) Fifteen years ago we didn’t know if you could aquire AIDS (hiv) from saliva or not. I work on an ambulance and most of us never, never would have done what this cop did. Racist? I doubt it.
BHO is doing his best to destroy good race relations. Liberals are about the only people I know who keep spouting off about race. The rest of us could care less about somebody’s skin color.
Chap…I was mistaken about the case still being open. But I still say he had NO BUSINESS commenting on it. He is the POTUS, for God’s sake! He is lowering the standards of U.S. Presidents daily. This was beneath the office. Why does he NEVER comment on foreign policy? Afghanistan? All our soldiers dying over there? Killing Bin Laden’s spawn? He does nothing but campaign for his corrupt plans to destroy this country. He is not doing the job he was hired for and I pray he can be fired for dereliction of duty…not in 2012, but sooner!
“I think the idea is more that it’s not a closed case and that charges could be re-filed in the future, Chap. If he had been charged, tried & found not guilty, then 2x jeopardy would come into play, of course.”
My undersyanding is that a DA can re-file any charges that have not been adjudicated or expired due statutory law.
I agree that they probably won’t in this case. But, on the other hand, if this “yo mama!” doofus (that Harvard education finally paid off!) decides to go ahead with a civil case and loses it, if the local authorities wanted payback they’d have a good opening/basis to re-file charges. I suspect they have more important things on their plate, tho. But ya never know with DAs.
Where Obama messed up was in noting that he didn’t know the facts, but still announced a judgment of “stupid cops” anyway – then he went into the whole racial-grievance bag-o-complaints. He derailed his whole agenda for the evening. But going by even the AP (of all folks), he didn’t too all too well on healthcare either.
FACT CHECK: Obama’s health care claims adrift?
“President Barack Obama’s assertion Wednesday that government will stay out of health care decisions in an overhauled system is hard to square with the proposals coming out of Congress and with his own rhetoric.”
Setting that aside, I think he’d be well advised to avoid getting into nationally televised allergy and tonsil type diagnostic sessions. Unless he’s talking about his own – even LBJ had to show off his appendectomy scar.
With this we agree.
Mouthing off at a Police Officer is always a bad idea even if you are a “renowned scholar.”
I am pretty white but I have been hassled by the police within the last two years. It is not exclusively a problem African-Americans face. Even on my worst day I realized I was involved with an armed law officer who could use force against me and detain me for almost any or no reason. The best response is almost always “Yes, sir” or “No, sir” or “Thank you, sir.”
If you don’t like the fact that your neighbors called the cops on you, I can understand. Go mouth off at your neighbors. Mouthing off at the cop is a prescription for trouble regardless of the amount of melanin in your skin.
It is possible both people involved made bad choices. But the cop has the right to arrest you if you are “disorderly” and the term is vague for a reason.
Chap, You, as a lawyer, know very well that dropping charges in no way means there is no case. Charges are dropped all the time due to many factors, from caseload to politics. In this case, the politics of race trumped justice because nobody had the guts to confront a race-baiting hustler and the political lynichng that would have taken place had the charges been retained and pursued.
purplepeep: Wasn’t that his gall-bladder scar?
In either case, it was TMI!
Sadly racists aren’t interested in facts.
They actually have mouth-to-mouth devices now just because of the AIDS scare. But, it is a pretty gross process.
And people, especially those who have ingested a lot of water, almost always vomit after m2m. And you kind of just have to know when it is about to happen…
Actually, if my neighbors thought someone was breaking into my house and called the cops I’d have words for all of them. “Thank you.”
Kitty Genovese was unavailable for comment.
“Where Obama messed up was in noting that he didn’t know the facts, but still announced a judgment of “stupid cops” anyway”
Setting aside whatever racial-societal over-undertones one may read into the incident this is the type of thing a president – if he’s well advised – avoids commenting on. You just make reference to something being an “unfortunate incident” at most and pass on extrapolating anything of deep societal meaning from it.
If it’s Eisenhower addressing the dispatch of Army troops to Little Rick re: segregation, it’d be different.
I’l be curious if the WH, at some low level, issues a generic non-apology apology (that all politicians trot at at sometime or another) for this slip-up by Obama.
I believe the latest with heart attacks is not to give mouth-to-mouth. Research shows that those who get chest compressions but no mouth-to-mouth have a better survival rate. American Heart Association would be the Org to check with to make sure I guess.
LBJ had to show off his appendectomy scar
I believe you’re right, Nail and I sit corrected, thanks. I was maybe 13 at the time, but I do remember the hoohah. That and lifting up his dog (a beagle?) by the ears. Both were quite teapot tempests, if memory serves.
Guess it is time for a refresher course. Haven’t had to worry about it in a long time.
Still, m2m can be gross. And it never seems to be some cute babe in need of m2m but some other old geezer like me!
Irony can be so ironic sometimes…
“This is the spawning of the age of Aquarius, age of Aquarius … “
Am I affected by a too early dosage of rum on my day off here ot do I recall you have some kind of EMT background?
(I think I might be thinking of commenter “HawaiiFireman” there.)
I believe CPR techniques have been updated in recent years, tho, at any rate. (Been a long time since I took First Aid class!)
You really gotta watch more “Baywatch” reruns, WarEagle!
Too much rum…
Thought I’d double-check for a link. They’re calling it “Hands-Only ™” CPR.
Canceled my cable TV shortly after “The One” was elected. I just couldn’t take that rubbish any longer.
