August 22: Join the nationwide Recess Rally; Dems performing CPR on Obamacare

Scroll for updates…

We have the momentum to kill Obamacare.

The congressional recess period is critical.

I’ve joined many grass-roots groups in a nationwide coalition holding a Recess Rally on August 22, 2009.

The Tea Party revolt and the grass-roots counterinsurgency against the health care takeover have taken congressional offices locally and Washington, D.C. by storm.

Now, more than ever: Crank it up, spread the truth, raise your voices, and tell Washington…

Hands Off Our Health Care.

Go to Recess Rally to get organized.

Melt the phones: Call your congressman.

Health Care Talks to Continue Wednesday in House
By Steven T. Dennis and Tory Newmyer
Roll Call Staff
July 29, 2009, 12 a.m.

House Democratic leaders, Blue Dogs, White House aides and Energy and Commerce Chairman Henry Waxman (D-Calif.) say they made progress toward a deal on health care Tuesday but will continue negotiating Wednesday as they make a final push to rescue a deal before adjourning for the August recess.

Via Hot Air headlines, Senate Dems are moving, too:

An emerging consensus among a bipartisan group of senators is poised to shift the dynamic in the congressional debate over health-care reform and could lead to a final product that sheds many of the priorities that President Obama has emphasized and that have drawn GOP attacks.

This is O/T but I’ve got to say something about what I just read: Senators to Propose National Ban on Texting While Driving

The Feds steal our money and hold it over our heads to bend us to their will. This is a prime example of how the Feds get around the tenth amendment. They knowingly violate the Constitution and it’s intent in order to bring the states to heel. The states and their people have the right to determine texting laws, and the Feds should butt-out. Of course, the Supreme Court, which has become a mockery of what was set up, will look the other way on this. What the Federal government has become is exactly what the states feared at the time of our founding. There were checks and balances built into the Constitution, such as the Separation of Powers and the Bill of Rights. These anti-tyrannical safeguards have been eviscerated by the leftist progressives. I hope and pray that the outrage of the Citizenry can reach critical mass and explode before it is too late.

That won’t work for me. I have already spoken to their offices enough that they know they never did, never have and never will have my vote.

I will, however, make more phone calls and go to any local Recess Rally. Public pressure can have a big impact.

We can never expect a public retraction of support for Obamacare from our die-hard democrats in Massachusetts but we can dampen their enthusiasm. And this dampened enthusiasm will help lower the pressure on the blue dogs that are helping save us.

She has the mandatory ObamaCareBulletPoints on her wesite forum concerning what she believes Obama has told her to tell us what ObamaCare will mean for us.

I’ve already let her know my views. Good luck indeed.

The only thing that will work is if enough conservatives, en masse, make the very real threat that they will run someone credible against each of the GOPers that are taking part in this Gang of X “bi-partisan” crap. As soon as it passes–God forbid!–the GOP needs to spend significant dollars in hard-hitting ads against each of the GOPers until election time. It’s time to run statists out.

This isn’t about 100% purity in the party; this is absolutely FUNDAMENTAL to any reasonable claim of “being conservative.” A vote for ANYTHING like this Obamanation of a plan is an explicit declaration of being a Democrat with an “R” after your name. GET.THEM.OUT.

Linda Chavez points out another aspect of the bill Dems are trying to shove down our collective throats that’s pure stupidity.

They want force med schools to accept more minority students that are “under-represented” in the medical field, regardless of their test scores and aptitude. This dems claim, will insure better care for minorities by seeing to it that there’s a better chance of a minority doctor treating a minority patient.

All they really want to do is pander to certain minorities.

It’s hard to believe that someone with a functioning brain actually wrote this portion of the bill.

This bill is pure stupidity. It’s not reform. It’s poison. It must be stopped. There is no compromise option on this bill. None.

The model for the ObamaCare medical staff, embellished with H-1b visa imported doctors to fill the diminishing ranks because many citizens will be inelligable, due to the above, or who take a pass because it just won’t be worth the time and trouble to be an ObamaCare physician or nurse, or retire because they find other fields more profitable and less stressful.

How much money was exchanged and promises made? The average American is the loser here by politicans obsessed with power, glory and money.

My own congessman, Mike Ross, is now capitulating. Thought he was growing a pair, but that turned out to be a lie. In his mind, a bill needs to be passed, no matter what’s in it.
