You handled them effectively, politely and clearly showed your knowledge of the issues versus making statements and then claiming you’re just reading what someone gave you (Whoopi!).

And being surrounded by the enemy where there will only be a few brief moments to speak, some of which will be directed by the host and not at the times and on the subjects of most interest, is very nervous-making.
