How quickly they forget

Obama-bots are in a tizzy over a silly poster of Dear Leader as The Joker.

The BDS-infected Left may have wiped the violent imagery and assassination fascination targeting the president from their memories.

I haven’t:

Free speech. It might be the very best thing about America, even when it irks.

If the left wants to protect BHO then they need to stop all the bashing directed at others and try debating instead. They also need to learn how lose without being vindictive. None of these behaviors really serve to advance the country.

I have to agree. I was wondering about the connection when I saw it. Seems pretty tenuous to non-existent to me. Plus, the Joker was mocking those who were alarmed at his anarchy with the phrase, “Why so serious?” (this tied in with his mutilation of a permanent smile).

If you just want to use the Joker imagery, I would change the caption to read, “Why so capitalist?”

All that said, I am (still!) amazed to see people on the left try to paint this as somehow a unique affront to the “One” and burn their consciences (if they have ‘em) to a crisp from the heat of excessive hypocrisy since Bush got 10 times worse and by and large they said NOTHING.

    Missile Defense under the bus?
    Build them a new reactor?

Gibbs has denied that Clinton carried a message from Obama. (Hard to believe considering that H. Clinton is the SecState and has been lobbying for their release.)

Kim Jong Il gets the attention of a former U.S. president, Clinton gets his desired glory of being responsible for the release of the journalists, and Obama gets deniability that he gave Kim exactly what he wanted.

I’m happy that the journalists are being released. I question why they thought they would get away with it in the first place, but I’m happy they’ll be home.

The rest of this is smoke and a photo op for both Clinton and Kim.

Well he did get half of America to vote for him.

Good thing America is now seeing the error of her ways. This guy is a fraud. The smartest thing he did was to choose Joe Biden as his running mate.

Now if you impeach Obama, you get a guy who everyone knew was a fool from the beginning.

That’s why the birth certificate is important. Once we know that Obama was born to American parents (which I seriously doubt) on American soil, he can put that issue to rest. If he can’t prove it, then the entire election is fraudulent, and Biden can’t be vice-president, because Obama would have no authority to choose a running mate.

The whole election would then need to be re-done, and anything bearing Obama’s signature would be immediately null and void.

Of course, conservatives are kissing up to these thugs, leaving Constitutionalists to fend for ourselves.

    Let’s get it on!

Here’s the difference…calling a guy a Nazi who isn’t doesn’t make sense; calling a guy a socialist who is, does make sense, though to be fair, Obama is more of a fascist/marxist than a socialist.

Forget the real story that Obama is receiving 30 death threats a day, 5 times as many as W got.

Given that he has done about 5 times whatever damage you could conceivably blame Bush for, in about 1/16 the time, it is probably to be expected.

I wouldn’t be too worried: the nuts that are crazy enough to announce their intentions are rarely capable of carrying through with them.

Like when he violates his own rules about hiring lobbyists; or picks a tax cheat to run Treasury; or when he appoints 40+ unaccountable czars?

    and smart

Like when he campaigned in 57 states, with 2 more to go; or smeared the Police without any facts; or accused pediatricians of taking out tonsils to make money?

    and elegant.

Like when he sent the bust of Churchill back to the British embassy; or gave the Queen an MP3 player and the Prime Minister a set of DVDs… that won’t work in England?

    Yeah, he’s a gem.

    “Liberty? HOMEY DON’T PLAY DAT!”

However, my point was that Obama is a salesman. He was able to sell enough people on his snake oil to make his way into office, regardless of whether it was all Americans or just those who voted who were sold.

Remember, by not voting, you are voicing your approval for “whomever wins”.

He restoreth my faith in the Republican party.

He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party’s sake.

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line,

I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with me.

He has anointed my income with taxes,

    My expenses runneth over.

Surely, poverty and hard living will follow me all the days of my life,=

And I will live in a mortgaged home forever.

I am glad I am American,
