The smell of desperation: White House unleashes on Internet critics
The White House is using your tax dollars to go after the Drudge Report for linking to the Naked Emperor News video compilation of Obama and other Dems telegraphing how their “health care reforms” will lead to single payer.
Take a whiff of the White House bashing of Internet opponents: This is the smell of desperation.
Their lead attack dog? Former ABC News correspondent Linda Douglass.
Douglass is identified as the communications director for the White House Office of Health Reform.
That’s the office of the interest-conflicted White House health czar, Nancy DeParle, whose industry ties have received little scrutiny as the administration convenes secret meetings with health care execs.

Either Dems are completly oblivious of all laws of economics (entirely possible) or they think everybody else is as oblivious as most of their supporters. Those protections will effectively increase premiums to a price no individual or business will be able to afford. No, Obama does not want to prohibit private insurance. He just wants to make it completely unaffordable for anybody except the very rich and the govt. employees who will have unlimited public funds at their disposal to pay for their insurance since they are selfless public servants. ObamaCare for everybody else.

If anyone in the MSM was anything other than an enabler, they would read this direct quote from Obama’s 2003 video and ask him if that is his plan.
It was his voluntary statement made when he was running for the U.S. Senate. Everything in this bill points toward that as his objective. Barney Frank in a comment the other day confirmed single payer is the objective.

I’ve seen 2 vids where Obama states his preference for single payer, 2003 and 2007. There was no editing. If you read the bill, as it stands, you can keep your health plan that you like as long as the carrier makes the changes the government mandates. Of course it won’t be the plan you like after that. lgm and the other Obamabots don’t seem capable of anything other than blind obedience.

Deny this Linda . . . under Obama’s healthcare plan the elderly will be subjects of cost-effectiveness decisions by the government and can be denied life saving care.
