Huh?? I thought the money was a bribe, it was marked, he had it hidden in his freezer….how can he not be guilty there? Was it because it never actually ended up in the hands of the Nigerian VP. So, even though there was a conspiracy to violate the FCP act, he was aquitted of that count because it did not actually happen?

Let’s hope he doesn’t end up with a czar appointment…

What? His DNA could not be linked to the cash? If they couldn’t get him on that, then he must really have been nasty dirty on the other counts.

It’s my understanding that since this was a felony conviction, he won’t get his pension.

It would be nice to know that, but I bet he’ll get some greasy lawyer to hide that info when the time comes. At any rate I hope this is just the BEGINNING of the democrat convictions that start happening.

Four years to get a conviction. Appeals on that coming up. I doubt this (now)convicted felon will serve a day in a real jail. More likely he’ll end up in one of the VIP detention centers like the on where “Your Mayor for Life” Marion Barry served out his time.

I’d like to know if the bum gets a hefty fine to take away the money he hid away prior to the sting. The judge should take his house, his cars, his pension, any bank accounts, stocks, bonds or other real estate. In other words, every single asset this bum has or will have for the next twenty years.
