Tea Party-bashers gone wild

The activist Left can’t stand competition. Last week in Long Island, NY, opponents of the Democrats’ government health care takeover legislation outnumbered Obama supporters ten to one. The Tea Party activists toted American flags and signs that read “WE CAN’T AFFORD FREE HEALTH CARE” – prompting one foe to stalk into the peaceful crowd, gesticulate wildly, and shout unintelligible threats at the top of his lungs.
The same Democrat Masters of Astroturf who encouraged their followers to use “in your face” tactics during the campaign season now balk at vocal opposition from their fiscally conservative neighbors and co-workers. Obama’s architects of Kabuki town halls have packed public forums with partisan plants. Now, they accuse opponents gathering at impromptu rallies against the massive health care takeover legislation (which no one has read) of orchestrating “manufactured anger.”
Unaccustomed to pushback, the wealthy, astro-turfed ground troops for Obamacare – underwritten by unions, liberal philanthropists, the AARP, ACORN, and your tax dollars — have resorted to projection. As I’ve reported previously, the single-payer lobby boasts a $40 million budget and a stable of seasoned political operatives based at 1825 K Street in Washington, D.C. Now, that cabal is accusing the broad coalition of taxpayer activists, libertarians, independents, talk radio loyalists, bloggers, and first-time protesters against socialized medicine of being, yes, wealthy and astroturfed.
In a comical missive issued Tuesday afternoon, Democratic National Committee spokesman Brad Woodhouse complained: “The Republicans and their allied groups — desperate after losing two consecutive elections and every major policy fight on Capitol Hill — are inciting angry mobs of a small number of rabid right wing extremists funded by K Street Lobbyists to disrupt thoughtful discussions about the future of health care in America taking place in Congressional Districts across the country.”
The DNC definition of “thoughtful:” Sitting silent about the lack of transparency, deliberation, truth in numbers, and reciprocity on the Obamacare plan. The DNC definition of incitement: Asking out loud, “How can you manage health care when you can’t manage Cash For Clunkers?”
White House press secretary Robert Gibbs, apparently oblivious to the dozens of well-dressed and well-heeled former lobbyists and influence peddlers employed by his own boss, derided health care town hall protesters as the “Brooks Brothers brigade.” Brooks Brothers was also the president’s clothes designer of choice on Inauguration Day. He taunted: “I hope people will take a jaundiced eye to what is clearly the AstroTurf nature of so-called grass-roots lobbying.” Meanwhile, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi dispatched a memo obtained by D.C.-based newspaper Human Events assuring Democrats of “close coordination” with faux grass-roots groups “including but not limited to HCAN, Families USA, AFSCME, SEIU, AARP, etc.”
But never mind all that.
Some panicked congressional targets of the Tea Party movement have responded by shutting their offices, closing their blinds, and shooing pesky constituents off public property. The White House health czar’s office is mustering up Internet snitches to report “inaccurate” blog posts and “casual conversations” from health care opponents. And liberal bloggers and cable yakkers are waging their own war on the Tea Party movement by redefining participatory democracy as “thuggery” and “hooliganism.”
Talking Points Memo blogger Josh Marshall bemoaned a fiscal conservative activist’s memo offering advice on how to “pack the hall..spread out” and challenge a politician early “to rattle him, get him off his prepared script and agenda.” Horrors! “This amounts to a sort of civic vigilanteism,” Marshall fretted.
No, showing up at a congressional town hall and booing a talking points-programmed political hack isn’t “civic vigilantism.” Throwing rocks, pouring cement on train tracks, blocking military shipments, smashing windows, hurling paint, slashing tires, vandalizing businesses, and throwing shoes are vigilante acts.
That is what the anti-war, anti-free trade, anti-Bush mobsters did over the last eight years – and there wasn’t a peep about those brute tactics from Obama’s blogging pals.
They sat quietly while Code Pink disrupted hearings on the Hill and harassed Marine recruiters.
They looked the other way when ACORN illegally broke into homes and stormed foreclosure auctions.
They gave their tacit approval to self-declared “bank terrorists” like Boston housing entitlement organizer Bruce Marks, who show up at the schools of bank executives’ children and bullies them because of their parents’ employment in the name of social justice.
Now, the taxpayers footing the bill for Obama’s redistribution of health and wealth are silent no more – and the unhinged Left is beside itself. The “thoughtful” left-wing response to the Tea Party counterinsurgency can best be summed up by hysterical Hollywood actress Janeane Garafolo, who railed last week: “F**ng redneck d**chebaggery. Unmitigated d**chebaggery.”
It’s not the town halls that have gone wild. It’s the Tea Party-bashers who can’t tolerate peaceful, open dissent.

I honestly can’t figure out which is more hypocritical. The Obama Regime whining because conservatives are engaged in community organizing in order to oppose their statist agenda? Or, the party of Astroturfing King David Axelrod claiming that the tea-party/anti-ObamaCare phenomenon is entirely made up.
Couple that with the new White House “snitch” program clearly designed to intimidate dissent and we have a recipe to brew real trouble for our beloved country.
This tactic is right out of their standard Marxist/Nazi handbook. Whatever underhanded or questionable thing you are doing accuse your opponent of the same.
These DNC Fascists are trying to quell political dissent and they must be challenged at every turn. Furthermore, they will say and do anything to achieve that end, including the recent “rescue” of the two journalists. Stay focused on stopping Obama’s frightening socialist healthcare aberration and never yield.
The truth really hurts these leftwing scum!!
Bring it on Lefties!!!
Looks like the government has kicked the sleeping giant and disturbed his slumber. A few more nudges like Federalized Health Care and Nationalized Banks will definitely rouse his ire and promote action. The last thing our elected government wants is citizen participation, “I have never been more proud of my country”.

The unhinged left will see how a “organized mob” votes their dear leaders out in 2010 and 2012.
Yup, we’ve found our voices and we’re not going to back down until we get our Country back. We’re like Ralphie in A Christmas Story. We’re finally standing up to the bullies!
I disagree with the ‘bad’ definition of vigilantes above. These people WERE the law in a lawless land. They are not the ones who would slash tires, etc. When you do not have good law or lawmen, you need vigilantes to protect people.
I did grow up on westerns and know that vigilantes were often accused of hanging the wrong ones for horse/cattle theft, but I do not believe the replacement of a group of local citizens for a ‘hanging’ judge or a sheriff who was wanted for murder in another county was a good thing.
The Minute Men volunteered to help protect the border and were called vigilantes by Bush as thought that was a bad thing. Nuts.
Only citizens will help us – not the corrupt government. I am not sure the government was ever not corrupt – too easy to get rich by being in the government. I know our local guys in government are now very wealthy.
We need laws to protect us, not rape us. NO corrupt cap and trade from EPA source. NO ‘kill the old ones’ from Soylent (sp) Green i.e. AARP to save money. I worked for EPA and know they became corrupt. I quit AARP when they promoted genuine communists. Barf.
help me find a tea party or town hall. I am not having any luck. I am too old to fight or yell but will help out.
she was right on that one…we are now involved and informed and they certainly don’t like it now do they?
I’ve heard the liberals complain that the anti-Obamacare protesters are loud and disruptive, not allowing the Democratic Congressmen and Women to speak (you won’t see these protests at solid, Republican townhalls). The reason they are so loud is they know their elected representatives are not listening to nor reading their grievances. If the complaint doesn’t agree with the liberal agenda, it is ignored.
How many of you out there feel your elected representative hears your phone calls or reads your letters or emails unless you agree with their liberal position? I personally don’t consider receiving a pat, Democratic talking points letter a response.
Shoe, meet other foot.

I think these hissy-fits by the left are great news! It means they are scared. It means we are starting to be effective. And notice it is not the RNC or other national Republican groups. It is “we the people” that are getting in THEIR faces.
The angrier they get, the better for us. We need to keep it going and ramp it up.
Sites like Michelle’s are crucial to this fight. Excellent job.

I am in Missouri. I write to Kit Bond and get NO response. I write to Clair McCaskill and get democrat talking points that are meaningless and just make me madder. My local congressman Sam Graves appears to be a real patriot – the only one I have found. I do watch these 3 voting records and only approve of Graves. Bond is wishy washy and McCaskill is very far left.
I missed an earlier tea party some time ago in Corporate Woods, MO. I cannot find anywhere close where McCaskill has a town hall meeting (she does not attend them herself – coward). I go to the 2 senators web sites and find nothing of value. I think we are running out of time.
This cult and idol worship of Obama and all things socialistic is really coming to a head. Except for the hard left zombie followers, I doubt there is anyone out there that cannot see this beast for what it is.
Really sick.
Did I miss the new law of “Thou shalt not deny the Obama his ways”?
Paul Kanjorski solved, so he thinks, his problem by having a telephone town hall meeting tonight at 7:00. Past versions of this has questioners in a que. I hope to find his personal appearances.

It’s my opinion that once politicians get just so far up the food chain, something happens – like brainwashing – and they stop serving the best interests of the American public/constituents, and only serve a centralized organization that is FAR FROM the public eye and not what we put them into office for. Most cannot be reasoned with, and certainly cannot be considered credible anymore.
The time has come to be “silent no more” and take our country back! Let the fools feel good about themselves by believing it’s all manufactured.
The joke is on them!
Watched Michelle on youtube on “The View”. She made the most of her visit. I doubt that she will be asked back. Too much fact delivered to ignorance for this show! Bahar’s little giggling aside to the audience was lost as Malkin continued on and demolished all the crap the left could deliver. Thank you, Michelle!
I am not only done with this healthcare debacle, but I’m done with cap and trade, I’m done with the lefty loons using our federal government to encroach on our personal lives. I am so sick of it and I’m tired of paying for all these things our government was never intended to pay for. My husband and I already give these crooks almost 50% of what we make! What the hell is that?
We owe no civility to those whose only goal is to rob, enslave, and ultimately commit genocide against us.
Great message today, Michelle, with excellent contrast of vigilanteism (Code Pink/ACORN/Black Panther protests) vs patriotism (Tea Party and protesting Obamacare at town halls).
Thank you.
Drudge reports the new healthcare would have us all pay for abortions. We must show them mob rule! Tar.Feathers.Poles.
Roosting chickens are getting in the way, huh?
Truer words never spoken!
We are living in a time, at a crossroad, that will determine if we allow our nation to go in a direction that will terminate all freedom.
Rage on, people!
BTW, what is Sean Hannity think he is up to by doing ads for General Motors? I will never buy a General Motors product again until the government and union are out of the industry ownership. Has anyone else heard his ads? Gives me the creeps.
Bad things happen when good people do nothing…as our society reflects!
stillonthe road: Thanks. I will be there on Sept 5.
jangar: I agree. I think term limits might help but after 8 years they may be too far gone.
Where do I get tar and feathers?
I’m unemployed so I have plenty of time on my hands. Anyone know where I can get a copy of the bill to read?
I’m a great grandfather, never attended political meeting before Sarah and John’s rally last year and I’m itching to find a town hall meeting so I can yell at these lying SOB’s about them not telling the truth.
I’ve said all along that the potential for and if there is any unrest and violence as this country re-balances itself from this Obama disaster that violence will come from the left. It will somehow be made to appear its the folks on the right fault of course. The left will be painted as victims with no other choice or heroes who acted out on their values courageously, ie Maher’s opinion about the 9/11 crowd, so that their violence will be the “fault” of the right wing.
I can assure you the left is not going away quietly.
jangar,
I agree but I don’t think the problem is so much that they are in office. I think the problem is in politics today our politicians are constantly in campaign mode, constantly running for re-election. The money they have to collect to stay in office, win re-elections, continuing to campaign and govern very little, I think its that process that causes the changes. They stop being statesmen, leaders, doing the right thing, and start doing what appears to be good and can generate votes.
If I’m not mistaken, “Brooks Brothers” was the first choice of formalwear for another Illinois President named Abraham Lincoln.
If B.B. clothing was good enough for “Honest Abe,” why isn’t it good enough for Robert Gibbs??
MoGal,
Check out our tea party group’s website. Claire McCaskill is having a townhall. There are other activities in the Kansas City metro too. We all are planning on crossing the state line to attend multiple events. This Sat. is a townhall by Emanuel Cleaver in Lees Summit.
I think bashing the protesters is part of the master plan. The next step will be Obama declaring martial law, suspending the Constitution and make himself President for life. The greatest part of the sleeping giant is still asleep, but it will wake up then.
Yikes! Does Ice Queen Janeane kiss Hollywood comedian Ben Stiller, Hollywood actor Craig Bierko, Hollywood actor Mitch Rouse and Hollywood writer Rob Cohen with that same mouth?
I’ve always found Brad Woodhouse to be a bit churlish and a major drama queen to boot. Sorry, but I’m forced to take his input with a grain of salt.
All:
During a recent looong meeting, docs and administrators were discussing how best to get more hospital funding and physician reimbursement from state and federal governments.
…In other words, how best to grovel before the emperor for favors.
I did pipe up to point out that what is being discussed by the government now is not healthcare reform; but, rather, healthcare funding reform, healthcare decision-making reform, healthcare “power” reform, healthcare control reform.
But, it is not “healthcare” reform.
To which, folks nodded and agreed…then continued the discussion.
The use of “scare tactics” on senior citizens was criticized – somewhat veiled criticism, but criticism nonentheless – and almost mocked; non-verbal cues such as tone of speaking and facial expressions that one had to be there to “receive”.
One individual even brought up that a family member of his is frightened.
After the meeting, I chatted briefly with a smart, likeable colleague, who said the usual “something has to be done” about healthcare, tort reform, blah, blah, blah…and then said that paying what is being paid now to everyone is not possible, that the system will go broke.
I told him tort reform will not happen now, because Obama is a lawyer and a socialist.
He immediately said that Obama is not a socialist.
Incredulous, I said that of course Obama is a socialist.
He said again that Obama is not a socialist.
At that instant, my estimation of my colleague dropped a degree or two.
I brought up that government has created this mess, is going to worsen it, and cannot possibly solve it.
He said, “What about Medicare? Is that socilaism?”
I answered that yes, it was/is socialism.
He then agreed that it was/is socialism!
I pointed out that the mess we are in is what should be expected when a third party is paying for something: neither the customer nor the provider has an immediate interest in keeping costs down.
He didn’t really respond to that.
We said “so long” to each and parted amicably.
But, how “interesting” that meeting and that conversation were.
Just further makes me glad that I canceled my AMA membership at the beginning of this year.
Would they care?
Good post.
That clause further illustrates the affinity socialists have with the loony muslim killers/jihadists:
How often do we hear warnings/complaints/explanations from muslims that muslim violence was/is/will be the fault of those who, in the muslims’ eyes, “insulted” islam?
Watch Chavez in Venezuela – Obama and his cronies are close behind.
1. Nationalize the industries using some pretence like an economic crisis or falsely accusing them of acting illegally.
2. Control the media – newspapers, radio and television and silence the opposition.
3. Disarm the populace.
4. Change the electoral laws abolishing term limits and granting extended powers.
Result – Socialism. A lower standard of living for the populace (but the leaders and their chosen friends are given special privileges); foreign investment vanishes; poverty increases; justice is meted out unequally; healthcare is rationed; productivity is reduced to almost zero; and no one is left to pay the taxes to feed the socialist beast. Eventually, total dissatisfaction and a revolt by the populace replacing the socialist regime with possibly a worse military dictatorship.
I for one am looking for the rapture to occur soon. Pity those left behind!
I heard someone on a panel discussion say (I paraphrase)…”If we vote against the bill, we will incur the wrath of our fellow democrats. If we vote for the bill, we risk losing our jobs.” Interesting statement and very telling. He didn’t mention the will of the people he was elected to represent. This is the attitude of politicians after they have been tainted by power. TERM LIMITS!!

If this passes, and they think they can force us to pay for abortions, they will encounter the biggest tax revolt in history. NOT IN MY NAME! I will not pay for abortions. Nor will I have my hard earned money stolen from me to pay for some illegal alien or lazy low-life who isn’t willing to work. I will voluntarily give my money to those who truly need it. That’s it. If they want a fight, a fight they will get! This is very very personal.

Because apparently their communication director’s statement labeling dissenter’s as right wing extremists and crazed mobs isn’t enough.
This will backfire on them spectacularly.
OT – but did anyone catch the picture of Dear Leader’s birthday cake. Reminisant of the big yellow dress satchquash wore with the plastic green flower from which you would expect a stream of water to shoot.
Classless both of them.
Idolatry by Any Other Name
In the shopping center at Hadassah-University Medical Center in Ein Kerem, among the poster-ads decorating the central walkway, hangs a large photo of Barack Obama with a one-word message: HOPE.
Interesting little video. Did anyone notice that picture of someone hanging in effigy? Was that supposed to be Obama, hung by a right wing extremist? Because it looked a lot like George W. Bush with the face not quite blanked out enough. WTF? Are they that stupid? Why yes, yes they are.
Two words folks: term limits….this is the only way to keep from fighting this same battle again and again
I have to admit I’m a little disappointed Michelle. I’ve read every post and link, and there’s not one topless video anywhere. Sheesh.
Uh, yeah…it gives me the creeps, too. I know he has to do ads, but, that one seems pretty hypocritical. Rush does them, too, but his don’t seem as blatant as the GM ad.

Anyone else starting to wonder how the left can even afford to HAVE another free election? I am starting to get the “conspiracy” bug, though I am trying to fight it off…haha. Seems like they must know that they are on borrowed time. Either they will orchestrate a major crisis and suspend elections, and/or they would have to step up the census redistricting AND legalize a bunch of illegals, bussing them in to vote. How could they possibly win again?
Shoe, meet other foot.
Finally, the American people have had enough of this move to a marxist government. Keep up the pressure and let them know their jobs are in jeopardy.
Makes me uncomfortable too. How can he expect to be taken seriously if his principles go out the window during commercial breaks.
MoGal and others in the metro KC area, I’ve heard that Claire McCkaskil will have a “representative” for a townhall meeting on 8-11 at the Oak Grove, MO 64075 community library. Hopefully, others will be there to join me. Not that it matters to that lying cow. I still can’t believe she actuall said on local tv that there was NO PORK in the stimulus bill. Jeez!
It amazing that ACORN, paid thugs for hire, Unions and left loons get bussed under the banner of the President for hire and whenever citizens stand up and fight back its organized manufactured anger.
Good! That means it is working.
Not sure if this was posted here yesterday but here’s another press conference by Democrat Carnahan in South St. Louis on the Cash for Clunkers program.
The so-called “organized” rabble rousing public couldn’t ask questions. The press could but only on certain topics. Looks like Carnahan is running into lots of opposition lately.
Excellent, we need a little levity in the midst of this madness!

There are some very good insights in the posts above. A lot of people are “waking up” to what is going on.
***
JANGER #24 gets it right on our “representatives” going bad on us. I think it is GREED–not something in the water or air–that corrupts them. Bill and Hillary Clinton are prime examples of poor politicians who have become very rich ($100+ million) selling us out. Who thinks that some Arab potentates paid Slick Willie hundreds of thousands of dollars for a speech for nothing–they bought Hils votes.
***
HAPPYSCRAPPER #52 gets it right on the ABORTION (not “choice”) issue. It always bums me out to hear Catholic and Episcopal church members saying they voted for President Obama (PBUH) and other abortion supporting candidates.
***
Over 40 million babies (not “cell clumps!) have been murdered in the U.S.A. since Rowe vs. Wade made this “legal”. We think that Hitler’s murder of 6 million Jews in the Holocaust was bad–this is 7 times worse. How can a so called “Christian” vote for this evil? And who wants our coerced tax money spent on this horror?

I just saw Nancy Pesosi on Fox. She said that the health care bill WILL go through. She said that all these people that are against this health care bill are the insurance companies. that hey just can’t stand the competition. Is that sick or what?
This government just won’t listen to the people at all. They just kepp on keeping on with their plans and to heck with what the people want. I hope everyone of these idiots is voted out!!
I think they truly believe they can engineer the next election in their favor! They have ACORN, Black Panthers, etc. That is why we have to pull together and find a way to GUARD every single polling place against the corruption they are sure to try. We know how corrupt and dishonest they are. So how can we expect a fair election? They will pull all the tricks in the book. We need to INSPECT every machine, and GUARD every polling place so the voters are not intimidated. Maybe we need to get Jimmah Cartah in to advise on how to assure an honest election.
One thing for sure…if some of these crapweasels win in the next election, we will KNOW it was rigged!
Nancy Pelosi is brain dead. Someone please pull the plug.
Don’t forget, once ACORN gets controlling interest in taking the census count, the Democrat’s demographics will improve considerably. They already have dibs on all the cemeteries.
Republicans shouting down and shutting down local townhall meetings, that’s all good. But heaven forbid someone should raise a voice against one of these disruptive “teabaggers“.
Next month I’ll be 65. In 1963, I was 19 years old, starting college and there were a lot of changes happening in our society. There was a fervor or rebellion which was driven by anti-war sentiment and general disrespect for authority. I was not, then (or now) inclined in that direction politically. But there was something in the air that was right about the skepticism regarding government and authority. The concerns were right but the direction was wrong.
I liked the music of the day, still do in many ways, though I’ve always had the internal conflict of not liking the direction of the day as much as the spirit of the times. But now the tables are turned.
The spirit of skepticism and dissent has been re-awakened within a segment of society I am now part of and in tune with.
In 1963 Bob Dylan wrote these lines:
Indeed, today, a new movement has sprung to life that is saying “enough is enough, stop it!” And now the “establishment” consists of the very people who 45 years ago were the rebels. Well, their ideas were worthless then and haven’t improved. They are the new establishment and a new battle is now raging outside. “Something is happening here, and they don’t know what it is…….do they?”
Too bad we don’t have an employer in this country that decides they’re not going to collect taxes anymore. Or a state that would draft legislation stating the same.
Frank Luntz was on Hannity last night and he was saying the people need to be more respectful of these politicians. Why? For decades they have ignored the wishes of the people and we’ve basically just sat back and didn’t do anything. You have to yell because they seem to be hard of hearing, espcially when you close your offices, draw the blinds, don’t reply to emails and you don’t answer the phones.
Get used to it. No one appointed you morality Czar.
Your point isn’t lost on me. I made the same one not 2 months ago. They’ve become what they hated.
Raising a voice against them is fine. But these creeps are making things up, lying through their corrupt lying teeth…in other words, business as usual for the left.
LGM. Take your fake outrage and shove it up your…never mind.

Run you CUR and as you do, get used to it. People now have a face and are finding out who the enemy is in this country. Too long you ilk has hidden under the rotting log called Liberalism.
I’ll show them the same amount of respect they have shown me. Respect is earned. Why does that seem to be lost on folks?
To the best of my ability I cannot think of a single time when the Democrats were ever “censored” or otherwise not allowed to exercise their rights to free speech when the Republicans were in power.
I realize that, in part, this is because any such attempt would probably have brought the spotlight of MSM scrutiny – but that’s as it should be, the REAL purpose of the Fifth Estate.
But Democrats – and the Left in general – cannot stand any sort of ideological competition. The first thing the Leftists do when they take power is limit and even destroy any possibility of criticism of their policies.
The current administration and congressional leadership is no different. They are pigs.
on fox nation there is a picture of the mob meeting with 2 massachusetts representatives in a harvard auditorium. if that is a mob, i am the king of siam. look at the demographics of that group. middle age and up, 1 bearded guy in the whole group, these are taxpaying voters, and these congressmorons dismiss them at their peril.
The town hall protests bother the Democrats because they are used to using their welfare and union thugs to suppress the voices of dissent by whatever means is available.
I would point out that, so far, the town hall protests have shown the anger that all Americans who work for a living have against the tyranny emerging out of Washington. But they have not been violent.
My fear is that the Congressional Democrats will ignore the voices of reason and concern, and that will lead to violence. People can only be pushed so far, and it is obvious that they have been pushed to the brink.
I suggest that the confrontational tactics continue for the next year – and that people who would otherwise contribute to Democrats withhold such contributions. The next step is to turn all these bums out of office in 2010.
As far as respecting elected officials. When they act as servants of the people, then they understand their role in our constitutional republic and deserve our support and respect. When they acted as arrogant master, then they do not understand their role in our constitutional republic and deserve our resistance and disrespect.
powerpro#53, look at the demographics of that mob. white haired grannies and gramps. hmmm, those voting seniors. yeah, smart politics to rely on rock the vote 19 year olds, and vote or die hip hop ex-cons while dissing white middle class seniors.
From the Garafalo piece:
Apart from going all the way to sublime with that statement…how does she ‘cut the crap’? I’ve never heard her offer a positive solution to anything.
I’m gonna have to go with the Parker/Stone judgement on this one…
If these rallys and gatherings have been “sponsored” by insurance companies and lobbyists…PROVE IT. They can’t, because it is a lie. Also, these protesters haven’t even so much as thrown a pie!! Another difference is that we are yelling at these politicians to LISTEN TO US AND TO TELL US THE TRUTH. By contrast, the lefties yell to stifle the truth and shut us up. If we compare the tea party “MOBS” to the protests from the left…well, unless the libs are magicians and can truly wipe out historical fact…this will come back to bite them. In the meantime, just call me a radical, right wing, Bible clinging, gun toting redneck extremist…and proud of it!

I’m still trying to figure out how those two thoughts landed anywhere in close proximity to each other.
When the tea party movement began, they laughed at the small numbers. Now that it’s grown, we’re a mob. I am so done with the left and their loonieness it isn’t funny. Talk about a redneck, that gal looks like she just crawed out from under a cow patty and she ate most of it on the way out.
excuse me, self edit “crawled” not “crawed”
MoGal and AuntieEm,
I went to a mtg laste evening with several speakers, the highlight was a man who JUST might unseat Babs Boxer. An earlier speaker from Glenn Beck’s We Surround Them spoke of an idea that is growing on me: they provide recording equipment and we come up with a TownHall in Absentia of a CongressCritter. My local Critter, Mike Honda of San Jose, has on his website that he will ONLY hold a Telephone Mtg on Saturday 8/22. AND THIS IS IN THE LIBERAL BAY AREA. Unbelievable! It matters not that he or his Staff listen to these entire recorded mtgs or if they listen at all. I was part of the SMOG Check II Protests in Sacramento years back and any way to get inside their comfort zone, to rattle their psyche, within the bounds of the Law.
Pardon a SciFi reference, but a slow constant pressure will eventually break a force field. Said another way, Trumpet sounds will crumble fortress walls.
Democrats are so flummoxed because we have been working, taking care of home and harth. They didn’t think we were capable of this. But as the above reference quoted: Awakening the Giant.
Let’s Roll.
Oh, and if I’M being paid by an Insurance Co. to be a HACK: DUDE, WHERE’S MY CHECK????
Ha!!! Good one Misscheryl! I plan to repeat it, if you don’t mind. I will give you credit.
Liberals: making the prophesy come true

lgm‘s ‘video’ link is disingenuous, to say the very least.
To put it another way, it’s a collection of lies.

That they would seek out snitches in the first place not only shows a complete lack of confidence in their health care argument and position, but it also reeks of desperation.
BTW: I wonder what they term “casual conversations?”
Well if the Left doesn’t like dissent, they better learn to duck.
I’m proud of those redneck, uneducated people who spent their blood sweat and tears to make this country what it is today. Hollywood, lefties and the elistist can make fun of people who are as real as the earth is itself but they’ve never contributed anything. We should show up at town hall meetings and tea parties in overalls to honor our founding fathers and mothers.
