When you can’t stand the heat…

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 5, 2009 01:35 PM

…hold your congressional town hall in a children’s hospital to avoid tough questions.

It’s the Democrat human shield strategy at work again. Kenneth Wallis in Little Rock reports on Rep. Vic Snyder’s plan to evade constituent accountability:

Just called Arkansas Children’s Hospital 501-364-1100 to confirm and get details. Vic Snyder will have a townhall meeting at 1pm at the Chairman’s Hall in the Sturgis Building Wednesday 080509. I asked them about the radio announcement stating the meeting was at 2pm. Bonnie from Arkansas Children’s Hospital stated that it was a 2pm and that it has been changed to 1pm. I also confirmed that the event would be open to the public. It has been recommended that people not go to protest in anger due to the fact that there will be ill children and their families at the hospital. Snyder decided to hide in a hosptial when he realized that he would face angry constituents.

Tried and true:

Point of order lgm. A “townhall meeting” is an event for an elected representative to meet with their constituents. A constituent is anyone in their district.

LOL. All of a sudden, lgm hates community organizing, and opposes the right to assemble to petition government for a redress of grievances.

“I need you to go out and talk to your friends and talk to your neighbors. I want you to talk to them whether they are independent or whether they are Republican. I want you to argue with them and get in their face,” - B.H. Obama, September 2008.

Remember, your gal Hillary stated something like every American has the right to agree or disagree with any administration. There are no distinctions about Republicans or Democrats, and neither hold exclusive rights to protest. I understand you are a school teacher; a very fine & important profession.
