Sadly, like in the 2008 election, it was the bigots that won. Sotomayor is herself a raving bigot, and even Obama either lied or was totally misinformed (and the MSM ran with it) in telling us that she was the “first hispanic” to serve on the US Supreme Court.

There is certain data that tends to show that a New Deal-type stimulus is what we need

The only data I need is the outcome of the New Deal and every other socialist non-solution that’s been about: The New Deal only succeeded in slowing down the recovery.

It baffles me to try to understand the point of view that prompts postings from LGM, RSS, ILMC and other liberal posters. Why do you suppose that someone is so invested in supporting something/someone who is clearly on a path to destroy the American Dream as we know it?

When I look at the racial viewpoints of Obama’s closest “friends” and advisors such as Jeremiah Wright and Ayers, I can’t help but wonder how the jewish population came out in droves to vote democrat–my husband calls them Dumbo-crats. I can’t understand the whining of people who clearly have the ability to have anything they want assuming they want to work for it. It angers me that Obama’s message is to divide us and encourage class envy. I am like CWinNY, I grew up on a farm and my grandparents never had health insurance but they paid their bills and even left a little for their kids when they died. We’ve lost our way when we live to take from others to supply our greed. Now LGM can post about this and blame it on Bush. He’s a pathetic person in all of his “intelligence”

I enjoy reading John Deaux, Miss Cheryl, Sonofdy, etc. wanted to join in with a few of my thoughts. God help us in the days ahead, we’re going to need it.

Several years ago I was driving my daughter to a T-ball game when we spotted a “Mean People Suck” bumper sticker. She informed me that saying something sucks is bad (her teacher yelled at some boys in her class about this transgression). I agreed, and then opined that saying someone sucks is a pretty mean thing to say. She got real thoughtful, and then started to giggle.

Posting on a conservative blog that the people there are stupid or bigoted – when you know nothing about them is pretty stupid and bigoted.

Asserting that people without health insurance will die is absurd. My brothers and sisters and I are the first generation in my family to have health insurance. My 83 year old parents were farmers – they never had health insurance (until Medicare). Three of my four grandparents all lived into their 90s (my grandmother had multiple sclerosis and only made it to 76). None of them ever had health insurance.

If people without health insurance all died, wouldn’t there be 47 million dead people every year? (the number of people living in this country that are claimed by liberals to not have health insurance).

I can see posting something idiotic because you did not stop to preview, but to post it, and then try to defend such nonsense is not winning any debating points. You just make the case claimed by many posters here that liberals are not logical (or very smart).

What are you trying to accomplish?

Wow. Hilarious. A person is seated on the Supreme Court ONLY because of her gender and race, and the people that opposed her are the bigots.
