They are doing what they do best. Making reality up to be whatever they want people to believe it to be.

This is good but a lawsuit in addition would be even better. That tactical arm is one thing the movement critically needs — attack lawyers to sue everyone in sight when something like the SEIU-initiated violence occurs.
It’s just unbelievable that they used video of SEIU being violent to say that the “teabaggers” were violent. Huh??
It’s not that the SEIU “can’t handle” the truth; they know what it is.
It’s that they don’t want the American People to know what the truth is, which is why they’re trying so hard to make sure that nobody else gets the chance to “handle” it.
It’s Winston Churchill’s “Bodyguard of Lies” analogy, except that instead of the truth that’s being protected, it’s the lies themselves.

I grew up in an area that was way less than a gated community. One thing I’ve learned is to beware of the quiet man. Some may think he is weak because he is not heard from. There is a point when he is pushed too far and no one expects his push back. Our elected officials are insulting the usually quiet people by calling their Constitutionally protected right to petition our government. Our President has let loose the unions (SEIU $ ACORN) to silence those petitioning. On the first day violence was the result. I believe the push back by the quiet citizens being assaulted for using their first ammendment rights will be unexpected as well.
OT, just heard on local radio that BO is going to be here in Western Colo. on Aug. 15 for a “Town Hall.” Need a really good sign and camera. Should be interesting in that he is coming to a conservative county.

SEIU is welcomed to all the healthcare they can afford to pay for out of their own pockets. Free healthcare isn’t free or sustainable.

I love how the video ends with ‘You attacked him!’…which was shouted by the peaceful Tea Party protester at the violent SEIU member, who was hauled away in cuffs for the attack.
Sad thing was, Kenneth was just a vendor trying to make a buck. Not even an active Tea Party activist. But he was attacked because he was the wrong color to dare to have such merchandise.
Kenneth, I hope you’re OK and- whatever your political views are, you hold on to them and NEVER let anybody tell you what you should believe or not believe based on pigmentation.
I’ve always disliked Unions especially when Mrs. Boomer had to join the teamsters for an on base job with a Government contractor when we were stationed at March AFB, CA. It has been a pleasure to watch them decline over the last couple of decades. If this keeps up they will be lucky if they survive the pushback coming from the average citizen and I’m not just talking about as a viable organization. The average American will not suffer these thugs very long their acts of violence are going to reap the whirlwind.

In a jobless recovery, this is where many will find their next job.
In a stagnant economy soon to be ravaged by inflation triggered by a falling dollar chasing commodities in great demand in the global economy, we will be see where all of this illegal immigration is taking us.
We are facing becoming a de facto third-world economy. And don’t be tempted to believe that you are immune. Yesterday, Deutsch Bank released a study that foresees 48% of US mortgages will be underwater by the end of 2011.

By the way, the biggest factor for job creation is capital expenditure (companies investing profits back into the company). That continues to decline. In a market bottom, CAPEX would be accelerating as companies prepare to thrive during the recovery.
The only safe jobs apparently are government jobs, especially if you are a thug.

There are so many more of us than there are of them. We just need to turn out and make sure to document the agitators and their thug tactics. I have a feeling that the MSM is not going to overlook these thugs this time. I expect ABC News to continue to expand on their depth of coverage on this story. They can’t possibly overlook the pure cynicism of the president calling on SEIU union thugs who, being exempted from Obamacare don’t have any skin in the game, to “counter protest” the local citizenry who have finally been pushed to far. Voters whose rights are being taken away are to be silenced by those who don’t have a stake in the issue? Is the MSM going to point that out in the Sunday news discussions?

What’s incredible about that video is that it documents an unmistakeable assault by one of their members. If you replay the video a few times and watch closely, you can see that at 1:03, the guy in the blue union shirt rushes into the picture, grabs Mr. Gladney (in the brown), and violently throws him to the ground. Even available in HQ! I left a comment to this effect on their website. Let’s see how long the comment (and/or the video) lasts.
We need to set these thugs up in a setting of old veterans, I think the SEIU would be in for a rude awakening

Not necessarily. I just watched the Nightly News Hour on PBS and they presented a reasonably balanced report on several of the townhall protests. We will know for sure when these thugs start inciting violence.
Our job is to show up in large numbers, film everything, and refrain from getting sucked into the violence unless physically attacked.
This is a big story of historic significance and I sense that the MSM sees it. Even CNN has been airing more and more stories that are critical to Obama and the Dems. They absolutely cannot be caught defending thugs and they know it.
It would be one thing if our side was represented by “professionally trained community activists” but it isn’t. The people showing up to the Tea Parties and townhall protests are LOCAL. All politics are local. They can lie about what is happening over there, but it is futile to try to lie about what is happening over here.
There is a big opportunity for the MSM to regain their credibility with the American people if they get this right. Right now, we are winning and gaining momentum. They know it. It may be that Obama’s goose is already cooked.
The rank and file members are already ticked off at the bosses and this BS just might push them over the edge, (I hope..). THEY KNOW that socialized medicine will SUCK just as badly for union members as it will for anyone else but here are their unions dues being used against them. Somethins gotta give…

The union leaders don’t care. But they do care about profit and money. Imagine that. Are we forgetting the bail out money that went to many of these unions? In the total sum of funds given to them was included calculations for health care benefits. IF the unions can slide health care benefit cost back to the government, the piece of their bailout which was suppose to be for health care will be wind fall profits.
For some of these unions a very large wind fall profit.
