Today I got a call letting me know that he'll be holding a "telephone townhall" on August 24 at 6:00 p.m. and he'll call me back then so I can participate. Actually, I was surprised to get the call since I'm a registered Republican (a minority in the Louisville area). Now I'm curious if I'll actually get a callback and if I do, will my call be "dropped" if I offer an opposing opinion? It looks like my Congressman (John Yarmuth, D-KY3) has found a way to avoid any opposing views at his townhall meetings.
