Over the past 19 weeks, Mark Levin’s “Liberty and Tyranny: A Conservative Manifesto” has never ranked lower than No. 3 on The New York Times best seller list—and it ranked No. 3 for only one of those weeks. The book has been No. 1 on the list for 12 weeks, and No. 2 for six.

And a couple of those weeks it wasn’t number one, it actually sold more books than the number one book.

A tectonic shift? In 2003, Michael Savage, Bill O’Reilly, Michael Moore and Al Franken all had #1 bestsellers on the N.Y. Times list. In ’04, Sean Hannity and Richard Clarke had #1 bestsellers a month apart. In ’05, Neal Boortz and Al Franken (again). In 2006, there was Ann Coulter’s “Godless,” “Fiasco” by Thomas Ricks, the last and harshest of Woodward’s book on the Bush White House, and “The Audacity of Hope.” And a year after “Godless,” Christopher Hitchens’ “God is not Great” was #1.

Admits that Conservatives qualify as “other voices” while not even trying to refute:

The Washington Post Book World section acknowledges the dominance of right-leaning books on the best-seller list in a blog post today, but refuses to lower itself to review the books on their own merits.

And they wonder why newspaper subscriptions keep falling.

“Sandboxing” is a practice in computing of using specialized software to run an operating system in such a way that it is completely isolated from everything else on the computer. That’s essentially what the WaPo is doing. They’re taking the “ew-gross-icky” conservative authors and critics and running them in a special section where their readers won’t get any horrifying conservative cooties on them. Now they can say they “covered” the phenomena without having to wade in and actually sully themselves with the topic.

It is time for Conservative celebrities and start running for office. If Franken can win in MN, why not conservatives. Rush should run in Missouri (the Limbaugh name is big there), Beck in Utah. Laura Bush should move to a state where she would have a chance and run as well. If he is old enough,Rick Perry should appoint George P. Bush (Jeb’s son) to the Senate if Kay Bailey Hutchinson resigns. I could see all the attacks, and we could just scream “Racists”. I am tired of the Right operating on Marquis de Queensbury rules while the Left operates on Marquis de Sade rules.

I recently published a conservative book entitled “Ideological Bigotry.” It has not made the Jayson Blair Times best seller list, but it has gotten me radio interviews, and a couple nights ago a speech at the Reagan Library.

I would consider it an honor and a privilege to be hated as much as Michelle Malkin and Mark Levin, and for the same reasons.

As for the Great One, I was also at Hannity’s Freedom Concert in San Diego. There were no angry mobs, and the only thing people yelled at soldiers were “Thank you” and “We love you.” Mark Levin was there, and he was on fire.

Keep fighting the good fight Ms. Malkin. Ideological Bigotry will be defeated with your help.
