Obama Kabuki theater in Portsmouth; crowd chants “YES, WE CAN!;” little girl laments “mean things” on protest signs; O lies about single-payer support
The Obama town hall in Portsmouth is underway. The president wrapped up his remarks to the cheers of “YES WE CAN!” from the fair and balanced audience.
The crowd cheered Obama’s claims that the porkulus is working.
Obama asserted that “nearly 56 million” Americans are uninsured — ratcheting up the fuzzy math.
He praised “vigorous debate” and criticizes “wild misrepresentations,” which the stacked crowd applauded wildly.
He derided “special interests” — except for the drug companies funding ads for Obamacare, of course.
He attacked fear-mongerers, then warned of premiums rising, Medicare going bankrupt & people getting sick without his “reform.”
1:30pm Eastern.
Oh, crikey. Obama calls on a 13-year-old girl to lament the “mean signs” about health care reform. “How do kids know what’s true.”
Obama ridicules concern about death panels and rationing for the elderly.
Tried and true: When you can’t stand the heat, hide behind the kiddie human shields.
***
1:47pm Eastern. A Republican questioner asks if O still supports universal coverage push. O claims he does not support “single-payer.”
Er, read his lips: “I happen to be a proponent of single-payer…”
***
2:00pm Eastern. Obama just made a show of trying to find a questioner to challenge him. “I don’t want people saying I just have a bunch of plants in here.”
Questioner: “He winked at me.”
***
2:10pm Eastern. One real skeptic finally gets to ask question. Jokes that he turned himself into the White House snitch brigade. Asks why O won’t criticize Congress for mandating a health plan it won’t accept for itself. O spins about increased choice.
2:15pm Eastern. Curtain closes on this edition of Obama Kabuki Theater.

We all know that the biggest problem with controlling health care costs is the epidemic of medical malpractice lawsuits. Contrary to Obama’s slur against doctors (Obama said doctors will do whatever procedure gets them the most money from insurance companies), doctors do not want to practice defensive medicine and give 25 tests, most of them unnecessary except as a tool against malpractice lawyers. Doctors also must give out 35 page informed consent forms, most of which are devoted to explaining highly improbable potential results. Yet the Obama/Pelosi “health care reform bill”, makes it much easier to sue doctors and nurses. Obama and Dodd are totally beholden to the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. They accept huge sums of money from the trial lawyers and Arlen Specter has just introduced bills which are sure to pass that make it much easier to sue technology companies and he also introduced a bill that gave special tax deductions to triallawyers. In the Specter bill, malpractice lawyers can deduct all the expenses of litigation as soon as they accrue instead of waiting until there is a settlement or verdict. Specter would not promote this type of loophole to anybody but medical malpractice lawyers. No wonder Specter became a Democrat. His hands are out and ATLA’s big bucks are in.
No, you’re not alone. There’s a reason for the minimum voting age.

When I was out counter-protesting the Jan Schkowsky death-care love in last week-it was an outdoor rally-my son and nephew joined me.
They’re both 15 and will be voting in 2012.
I’m glad they’re involved!
I was at home during this and watched about 5 minutes. Then I lost my appetite for lunch…
Sad that I can’t even watch my President without feeling sick.

If you read the comments on his blog you’ll notice that he actually allows both sides on his site. I notice that there are a few posters here that comment on LGF as well. I actually respect how they debate each other with respect and agree to disagree. Does he allow scary people on there? No and that’s why I call it a dose of sanity.
I don’t see anything wrong with that since they are in their late teens and almost of voting age. *shrug*
I’m referring to several accounts of Charles dropping the ban hammer for odd reasons and not necessarily just on “scary” people.
This is all off-topic, so I’ll drop it here.
We probably wouldn’t agree on who is considered scary or loony…but I’ll drop it too since its OT. Thank you for replying without the usual calling of names like libtard etc. I make a point to never use terms like rethuglican etc. since its so lame.
moonshot: Nice attempt to reach out, but after 8 years of leftie hate, I AM NOT BUYING IT.
You reap what you sow.
Never have.
Actually, the general public is allowed no where near these TownHall propaganda shows for the media. The Obama administration hand picks the people that get to attend and uses the Secret Service to check them out ahead of time.
Then they are handed cards with pre-screened questions to ask Barry Soetoro.
I do not see any where in the Constitution giving the Federal Government the right to put on propaganda events where they lie to the American public. I do not believe that is one of our God given rights under the first amendment.
If they were truly Town hall meetings, they would be more like the Congressional meetings we all have seen as of late where people are outraged with our Government.
um, I think you just did…
The “56 million number” will grow almost as fast as the “$250,000/year number (as a tax increase cutoff point promise) will shrink.
The lifespan of Obambi’s promises is about the same as the lifespan of the common housefly.
Obamas “townhall” was so phoney I couldn’t believe it. Of all the adolescent things to do..have them break out in spontaneous “Yes we can” . It made me laugh out loud.
Notice that, like in the former Soviet Union, the government controls the media exposure and controls it by calling out Barrack Hussiein Obama’s (Peace be unto Him. Praise His Holy Name. Worship Him at all times with every thought, word, and deed. Devote yourself to the Messiah, the Savior of mankind completely, and He will Save you and give you Peace – /sarcasm off) army of supporters and squelching opposing points of view, while all the while making it appear that these supporters are the REAL voice, while dissenters are no where in sight.
Distortion of reality once again engineered by Government, and The Messiah in Chief and his cronies.
Unbelievable and so sad.
“Yes, We Can!” –> “¡Sí se puede!” –> Alinsky Radicals –> Lucifer
Communist Party ObamaCare Talking Points
Prove that these people work for the federal government.
Barry’s town hall meetings may be his people but the angry “mobs” at the town hall meetings that I am watching are average Americans. That’s what I’m referring to
Noticed that sign in lower left hand corner of video. It said Civil, Human & Women’s Rights. Are women not civil or human? Do men have rights? Are they different than women, human or civil rights? I get confused. Socialist is now racist and I’m afraid to say Hello cause I know it will hurt someone’s feelings and they will belong to some oppressed segment of society.
This earrr ahhh umm ahhhhh “town hall meeting” just goes to show that stupid people reside everywhere, even in a nice seaside town like Portsmouth, NH. Live Free or Die, indeed.
Would you ever take your daughter to a baseball/football game? Can you control an entire stadium of people?
Besides, the parents at Obama’s rally didn’t have anything to worry about (and you wouldn’t have had anything to worry about either). The government was controlling the whole thing.
FIFY

If you had read my posts you would have gleened I was talking about the Obama Town hall meetings not the Congressional Town Hall meetings in the news.
Congratulations Democrats. Your new self-defined standard for idiocy is complete. Go forth, now, and spread the
wordbullcrap.
