I’ve been having thoughts about flagging my wife’s sister. I can’t help it!
One of the things about something being fishy, in very little time they stink. And ObamaCare is stinking up the place.
I once flagged two girls at once.
But thats when I was young and stupid. I did alot of stupid things back then.
Is flagging an Ensign redundant?
I flagged myself so good.
Only if you do it twice What you do its… (redacted for public consumption) … But of course then you need to order a new rope and clean the oar.
Are the people in Washington working this program called the Flag Staff?
Have they ever conducted a flag poll?
The nautical word for “rope”.
Just sayin’.

HI DEXTER ALARIUS #108–are you sure that SHEET refers to a rope? My limited Texas nautical vocabulary thinks that sheet is a sail–like in “three sheets to the wind” describing a wildly staggering drunk–as in having too much sail up on a boat.
***
Hawser and cable are the nautical rope synonyms I recognize.
***
And people from Mexico pronouncing SHEET as they learn English have to pronounce it very carefully!

Negatory, rocketman!
The sheets are the lines that hoist up the sails. The knot used to connect two lines of differing diameter is the Sheet Bend.
Only liberals can bend sheet.
