Rolling out the welcome mat for Obama in Colorado and Montana

By Michelle Malkin  •  August 13, 2009 04:49 PM

Alas, I’ll be in Pittsburgh this weekend when President Obama touches down for another Kabuki town hall in Grand Junction, Colorado.

But Conservatives for Patients’ Rights is putting on an ad blitz to welcome the president in Montana and my home state.

Message: Drop it!

I’ve read reports that the Obamies have been genuinely surprised by the reaction of the American People to their government-rationed health care machinations.

But when you attempt to charge people more and offer them less…what did they expect the American people’s reaction to be??

Looking forward to seeing both videos, Obama’s arrival into the lions den and your speech at Station Square! I’m traveling this weekend to Alabama, would have loved to stay at home and join your audience in Pittsburgh but work is work. As you exit the gate area of Greater Pittsburgh Internat’l Airport, check out images of Gen’l George Washington and Steeler legend, Franco Harris (immaculate reception pose) at the top of the escalators. The kids will love the T-Rex skeleton at the bottom too.

The ad is BS. Most of the ad is about “government run” health care “getting between you and your doctor”. There are two things that could refer to:

    1. Federal decisions that effectively ration health care (yes, rationing exists now and will only get worse, reform or no reform).

    2. National “best practices” recommendations about the best treatments for given disorders. Given the complexity and rapid growth of medical information, this too is inevitable. Any conscientious doctor would use it, mandate or not.

Neither of these has anything to do with the public option.

If the ad were concerned with patient/doctor interactions, it could have ended: “Tell your Representative to oppose the best practices board”. But it didn’t. That’s not what worries insurance companies.

For his whole “community organizing” and political career Obama has been surrounded and supported by people that leech off the taxpayers. Any program that feeds those leeches is highly popular to that segment of society. And, since they do not typically pay for the programs they never say no. Obama does not know how to deal with informed principled people that see him for the corrupt thief he is. He is spiraling into oblivion and hopefully will self-destruct before he brings any more harm to our country.

And you’ve been on the public dole for how long? You can’t be a fully employed taxpayer and support the Democrat position. If you are, then YOU are non compos mentis.

Unfortunately, there is no provision in the Obama Health Care plan to treat the mentally impaired or infirmed.

Sorry, dude (or dudette.) Either way, you lose! Unfortunately, if this is enacted in to law, your days will be numbered.

Read some of Ezekiel Emanuel’s deliberations regarding affordable health care, and his conclusions. Good luck.

Montana Gun Laws is one of the most viewed post on Logistic Monsters Blog. Maybe that is why Bozeman, Montana is on the town hall meeting junket for the President’s Health Care Insurance Reform Bills?

So why Bozeman, Montana town hall meeting for the President to CAMPAIGN “for which” Health Care Reform Bill? Why Grand Jct. Colorado? They are indicative of what demographic of Americans?

My home state is called an empty state so what is the draw for the Obama administration? Is it because Max Baucus is under pressure?

Montana is an ultra strong 2nd Amendment state they are not keen on Sotomayor for the U.S. Supreme Court. Max Baucus has reasons to be weary. Montana is carry in the open state mostly because of hunting. This Health Care Insurance Reform “Bills” is looking like it could go sideways, and it doesn’t look like the Obama administration can course correct.

Could you please just stop it already? You’re one of the worst at categorizing and generalizing Conservatives on this board.

“Has the angry man who confronted U.S. Sen. Arlen Specter at Tuesday’s town hall meeting in Lebanon become the “Joe the Plumber” of health care?”

I think everyone at these town hall meetings have a right to be fearful, distrustful, and angry. The one thing you refuse to acknowledge is that people do not trust their government except for you because you’re too busy kissing Obummer’s a$$.

“Craig Anthony Miller is the face of the health care debate – Miller, 59, a blue-collar worker now living on disability”

So are many who have suffered injuries on the job and had to be assessed whether or not they could return to work. Some never do for legitimate reasons.

He’s been on disability for the last 4 years – what a loud mouthed leach.

You’re an ingrate. Will you say the same thing about my 77 year old father who has lived off both his disability and social security payments for years? My father suffered a cerebral hemotoma (hit his head on a pipe) and if it hadn’t been for the current healthcare structure, he wouldn’t have had emergency surgery to relieve the pressure on his brain. Will you go after my father, whose union didn’t stand up for him after the injury, for living off of disability and social security that he paid into?

If you’re not actually going to contribute anything to the debate then what are you doing to fix healthcare? You, and the fringe left, are doing the exact same thing you’re accusing these town hall protesters of doing. People want to stand up and be heard and nothing you say will deter them.
