In Britain, the latest developments in the war on Michael Savage:

The government in the United Kingdom has dispatched a letter to talk radio icon Michael Savage that he must “repudiate” the views the government has attributed to him before he even can be considered for removal from a banned-in-Britain government list.

“It was emphasized that the onus is on your client to publicly renounce the statements which formed the basis of the decision to exclude him,” said a recent letter from the Litigation and Employment Group at the Treasury Solicitor’s Department in London.

“Any such repudiation must be genuine and comprehensive, and persuade my client that this is a true shift of position, in which case, my client would be prepared to consider this,” said the letter signed only “Treasury Solicitors” on the stationery that included the names Simon Harker, head of division, and Anne Werbicki, team leader.

I would really love to use something other than google, but bing just doesn’t seem to search as well-I have tried looking for items with both services. What is one to do when you have to use these services but the people you are forced to enrich, turn your stomach? I think that the only viable solution will be with our children. Only liberal owned-/operated businesses have left Beck – and it’s to their own disadvantage.

By dropping Beck from their ad avenues, these companies have given over to their competition the largest audience of consumers and brand placement opportunity that exists on national television during early prime.

Any executive considering dropping Beck or other FNC programming from their ad roster because of politics, should really go back to marketing school or resign their positions for the benefit of stockholders.

FNC is where the viewers are at

Our ties to Britain are entirely too close. If they wish to ban Dr. Savage that is their right. And we in the United States should remember to “avoid foreign entanglements-friendship and trade with all, alliances with none”.
Africa for the Africans, Europe for the Weenies, Asia for the Asians and such.
If we can ever get out of Iraq and Afghanistan we need to quit NATO, Korea and the rest and remember our “Enlightened Separatism”. We can have a big enough Defense establishment to defend this country without allying with anybody. Paul Revere?

Absolutely. In my initial post, I said so. We are a sovereign nation and have every right to do as we please with regard to who we let into the country. I agree with Rep Ron Paul when he said during the campaign, ‘follow the law’. The sad thing is, he was the only one who said it.

They may have a right, but to do so based on someone’s opinions belies the 1000 years of free speech that was part of British heritage. It used to be that an Englishman could stand up and say what he believes without persecution. Apparently, that freedom no longer exists there.

That you took it as such by calling MM a hypocrite, was an assumption on your part and an attempt at distraction from the fact that any boycott of Glen Beck’s FNC show is sure to be SHORT-LIVED, as his is the number one program in it’s time slot, and because Obama Care is sinking in the polls.
