Obamacare/OFA stage props in Houston: “One is a Che Guevara fan and the other lies about being a doctor.”
Patterico continues to do terrific investigative reporting on the fake doctor who turned up at Rep. Sheila Jackson-Lee’s town hall. Turns out Obama delegate and Organizing for America activist Roxana Mayer, who lied about being a pediatrician, was invited to the forum by that nutball Obama campaigner who sported a Che Guevara poster in her office.
Two more stellar entries for the illustrated field guide for Obamacare stage props.

What, you thought she just happened to show up?
…All the worlds a stage…
Nothing to see here move along.
Who instructed her to lie about being a physician? Did Sheila know about the deception? I am sure not…
Thats racist or something….
If Obamacare passes she will probably be practicing medicine. Does it matter that she isn’t a physician?
At this rate, my prediction is that Hope-a-Dope effectively becomes a lame duck in his first year of occupying the White House. The next three will be spent watching as more and more dirty laundry gets exposed in “Chicago on the Potomac.”
For someone like Michelle, following this regime must be like a combination of a full-employment act and shooting fish in a barrel.
Obama LIES!
Is there a Doctor in the house?
Once again there will be no incisive, citical media coverage of this dog and pony show – among the hundreds the Democrats have trotted out.
NBC news did what amounted to an Obama infomercial story last night on the news. What should have lasted 5 seconds amounted to a mini-PBS feature on donated medical care in LA.
“So many people showed up we could stay a month and not treat them all!!” “Babies have not seen a dentist in a year and their teeth were all rotten!” “People of all races and creeds were here, the need for healthcare reform is clear!” AAIAAAAAIIIIIIIIEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!
Well, that’s really stretching a point. Che Guevara was merely guilty of being a murderous, communist terrorist. It’s not like he did anything really awful like disagree with Obama in public or anything.
I’ve been posting this everywhere.. They are so desperate they are “making things up” faster than they can “cover” them up..
So remember, if Roxana Mayer asks you to turn your head and cough, she is just feeling balzy.
could they charge her with wrongful impersonation?? should in MHO….
What a shame that “hope and change” doesn’t include the truth.
Obama’s special invitation “town hall” meetings are nothing but Potemkin villages created so the media will have pablum to feed their viewers.
Michelle – you’ve taken an ad for Conservatives for Patients Rights, and you expect me to believe you’re looking at this health-care issue in an unbiased way?
The company’s front man, Rick Scott, was CEO of Columbia/HCA when it was involved in the biggest health care fraud this country as ever seen. His own board of directors ousted him after it was found he was overcharging state and federal health programs, and the company paid a $1.7 BILLION dollar fine for his actions.
And now you’re taking his money and repping his side?
Once we stop the death panel lies, the nits about who asked what question at which town hall and the other nonsense, and stop letting insurance companies dictate the tone of the discussions, maybe we can get down to talking about actual issues that matter about this legislation.
These people hold citizens in complete and utter contempt. To call them lying weasels is to do a disservice to weasels everywhere.
Their arrogance, stupidity and brazen lies are unbelievable.
How in the world did we end up in this mess? We need to vote every incumbent out of office and start over. They all need to go and soon!
Flag me NOW!
Dang. I was going to go to a town hall meeting and claim to be a combat gynecologist. I’d better watch myself.
“Help me, I’m melting! I’m melting!!! Ohhhhhhh, what a world!!! What a world!!!”-(Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee)
Those who donated money to the Obama campaign, should have heeded the old addage;
CAVEAT EMPTOR
His campaign has evolved and even now his supporters are at risk to lose everything they thought they were protecting, starting with freedom.
Creating a “crisis” environment, the incitation of unrest, riot, or other violent demonstrations, will enable Obama to lower the hammer of totalitarian control, and stiffle dissent.
Way to go change-mongers! Is this your vision for America? You can’t say you weren’t warned….
The rift between the average citizen and the politician is widening. I doubt this division will bring any happiness to either group.
Since she was appearing before a taterhole, it would’ve been more believable for Mayer to claim proctology.
This is a little off track: somebody who talked to a member of Congress lied, and also knew someone else who was bad in another way. Back to health care.
Does it bother anyone reading MM that the “Death board” thing is a total lie? Does it bother anyone that so many Americans believe it? Does it bother anyone that so many main stream Republicans promote this lie — Sarah Palin?
Does it matter to you that government involvement in health care (and just about everything else) is blatantly unconstitutional? Does the 10th amendment mean anything to you?
The post of a liar telling lies.
One would think they’d be more intelligent than that, but perhaps their overall opinion of the average person’s intelligence is not all that high? (Rhetorical question)
lgm: Health boards who meet in offices in Washington DC deciding which patients can get treatment based on “cost effectiveness” could be considered a death board. For example, if you come in with a set of symptoms in the emergency room that look like condition A, can be condition B in a very small number of cases, say 1% of the time. Today a test would be done to screen for contition A but it could quite easily be the case that this board would say, that test is not cost effective for the whole. This would mean that eventualy someone would die from condition B.
I hope I didn’t lose you.
(highlights mine)
Oh dear–now it’s in charge of telling us (and Michelle) what we can post!
Back to it! Schnell!
tettes,
I believe you missed the whole point of the blog; Townhall meetings are where constituents get the opportunity to speak with their reps- It is not supposed to be a place where politicians skew public opinion with paid-for shills. I don’t believe MM ever made a secret of her belief that government should butt-out of health care. But don’t let anything like the truth get in the way of your agenda.
Yes, Obama and the Democrat Party created the Death Panel in their
HealthDeath Care legislation. Obama said his grandmother with cancer wasn’t worth the money spent on her extended health care. He wanted her dead in order to save the government money. The brother of White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, Dr. Ezekiel J. Emanuel, a noted bioethicist, is advising the Obama administration on health care reform. Dr Emanuel is a pro eugenics supporter. Terminating lives of the elderly, euthanasia, killing unborn babies and people with disabilities. Obama’s hand picked death care bureaucrats have documented backgrounds of supporting early termination of human life.Wow, this is totally off topic, but I’ll bite.
To answer your question, the part that bothers me is that there isn’t a “death board.” The power to approve or deny treatment is left to a single individual. An unelected individual, natch:
pages 284-288, SEC. 1151. REDUCING POTENTIALLY PREVENTABLE HOSPITAL READMISSIONS:
‘(ii) EXCLUSION OF CERTAIN READMISSIONS.—For purposes of clause (i), with respect to a hospital, excess readmissions shall not include readmissions for an applicable condition for which there are fewer than a minimum number (as determined by the Secretary) of discharges for such applicable condition for the applicable period and such hospital.

Who cares if it is all propaganda and lies? There are illegal aliens and welfare queens without health Insurance that working people need to support. My lord and master Obama commands you to STFU!
re: Roxana Mayer.
I’m in the process of searching every public record I can find on her, and I’m going to post them all over the internet.
That’s what the left did to a guy standing in his front yard when he didn’t bow down to the Obammessiah.
Too bad I can’t access confidential Texas welfare records, like the DNC can in Ohio.
lgm, no I don’t have problem with it because it isn’t a lie, it is merely a logical extrapolation of what has to happen when the rules implementing this pile of steaming crap are compiled. It might not be literally in the bill, but there is enough in the bill describing how care will be apportioned based on your age and fiscal worth to society that this is merely a logical conclusion. Some entity will be tasked with choosing who is given what procedure/care, this is logically the “death board”
lgm, we’ll make it reeeaaalll easy for you.
Right now, your doctor treats you as a patient.
Under Obamacare you would be treated as a statistical outcome.
Get it??? GET IT?
Oh and btw: if the “death panel” provisions are so innocuous, why has Grassley said they would be taken out?
Oh and btw: if they were not about cost savings, why are those provisions in the cost savings section of the house 3200 bill?
And finally: no BS from you about health care being “rationed ” now — all private goods and services are rationed, by the market and the ability to pay. That’s how prices and costs are rationalized. The USSR went bust in large part because there were no measures of costs, only plans and goals set by bureaucrats.
lgm; it is such a lie that the senate has removed that part. it wasn’t in there, but we’re removing it now. jesus, you really need to deal with facts, and facts aren’t this blog or huffpo/dailykos. facts are rtfm. you figure out what a paid end of life consultant means. you read what zeke emmanuel said when he wrote about end of life choices and saving money. you find out whether oregon which is a model for this crap tells cancer patients no chemo, just pain pills or euthanasia. the same in england only they just don’t let you see the oncologist specialist who administers chemo until you are dead.
Oh lgm:
Here’s your master in his own words, from the NYT:
Note that “the conversation” will NOT be guided by the elderly patient!!
And as someone at AoSHQ, where this comes from, reminds us:
DEATH IS CHEAPER.
Michelle seems to be WAY off base on this one, because if I am not mistaken, Roxana Mayer stayed at a Holiday Inn Express the night before, making her WAY MORE qualified than an actual doctor to speak on these matters. I would have expected more from Michelle than this.
Plus, I figure if this health bill actually passes, in a few years we may all be trying to meet a doctor at a Holiday Inn Express to perform doctor work on us, or maybe behind the Express, like between the dumpster and the recycling bin.
Exactly right. And I bet Obama stayed at the Holiday Inn Express too. It’s how he became qualified to be leader of the
freetotalitarian world.Calling all Thread Rangers for reserve duty at:

Shooting for the 7,000 post mark.
When people are dying, especially when there are potential treatments that are too expensive (even conservatives on this blog recognize that there are limits to the health care an individual can receive), decisions will be difficult. Before the “death panel” baloney, Republicans such as Sarah Palin were in favor of end of life counseling.
Obama is showing himself to be a true leader. He’s willing to start the difficult but necessary conversations. How do we help people at the ends of their lives? It doesn’t make you Mengele to ask this. It doesn’t make you a eugenicist to propose that health care should include end of care counseling.
An honest conservative answer might be: “I worry that counselors will encourage sick patients to decline life saving treatments.” A dishonest conservative instead says: “This bill forces counselors to kill inconvenient old people like Stalin killed Ukrainians. (just to take a break from Hitler).”
lgm, you’re such a fool
That’s it in a nutshell (and I do mean nut) right there! Too expensive! Who gets to determine what’s too expensive? The patient? The family? No! The fricking busybody Nanny state Federal government sticking it’s bulbous nose where it doesn’t belong! They’ll deny somebody some treatment or pills that would extend a person’s life a few comfortable years, but then turn around and blow millions on private jets to hobnob around the world when they already get their travel paid on the taxpayer’s dime! lgm, do you even have one molecule of the idea of liberty? What our Forefathers fought and died for? lgm? (literally gone mental)
the democrats have dropped the death panel part from the bill. sorry lgm, you can spin anyway you want, but this fact speaks very loudly. the truth is, if it was really a warm fuzzy part of the bill they would not be worried. americans don’t pay attention like they should, but when they do it proves how intelligent they really are. sorry that you got the wrong feeling that you were in the majority, i know that sucks. it really is not a good feeling to wake up and realize that you are the minority, it must somehow make you feel like you must be wrong (you are).
Donut44, way too funny. I had to laugh outloud at that one!!
I can’t help it…
Rep Jackson-Lee Are you a Doctor?
Roxana Mayer No, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
maybe I am a nerd, but that is comic gold there.
When I was with hospice once, we talked with patients about DNRs and such. A patient needed a DNR (do not resuscitate), at that time, in order to participate in the program. It isn’t end of life counseling that scares me. It’s the “opening of the door” that is frightening. Government has always looked to “opening the door” in order to move in and take over. It a major part of American, as well as world, history. A favorite tactic is to slip new regulations into some obscure bill, at some point…an amendment. What? You don’t think that will happen? Then you are very naive and gullible, plus you are ignorant of politics and its history, through time.
thank you, I will be here all night. Literally.
I wonder if my oldest grandson was “too expensive” at birth? Help me lgm, was he? He was born quite premature, barely 3 pounds and thus had Infant Bradycardia. If it were not for some excellent specialist he may well have been a SIDS baby. But they kept in in the hospital until he was four pounds. When they sent him home we (his four grandparents) rotated going to Virginia to sit with him. He slept with a heart monitor–when he quit breathing the heart monitor would scream waking him up and causing him to gasp and breath.
Was all that too expensive? I do not think I would trust an Obama, Rep. Shelia Jackson-Lee, Kathleen Sebelius or any other left wing “kill the weak” Racial Hygienist to make such a decision. So should his parents have been “given end of life counseling” or that heart monitor? Help me lgm, which was the correct decision? Is that now young man a precious life or a “mere maggot eating out the substance of Mother Earth”?
Rogue Cheddar said (#44):
If the patient or family are paying out of pocket, they decide. If it’s insurance, the insurance company decides. In the US today, almost everyone who has access to health care pays through insurance. Ergo: already it’s not the patient or the family that decides.
Insurance companies are contractually obligated to pay. The government won’t be.
Wrong. The insurance company decides whether or not THEY pay(and they usually do). It is still possible for people to pay for it themselves if insurance says no. If government says no, the answer is no.
The fake doctor is just jockeying early for a position on one of the “End of Life Review Panels.”
She definitely has the creds.
Your strawman just exploded…of course Sarah Palin, Republicans, doctors, lawyers and indian chiefs were in favor of end of life counseling. Now you blithering fool, read my typing….Counseling between..THE PATIENT, THE DOC and the PATIENT’S FAMILY…how hard is it for these leftie nutballs to understand that government has no place in these decisions at all.
Having gone through this a couple of times in the last years, and being a healthcare administrator myself…almost in every case, the family, the patient and the doc will make the correct decision for everyone concerned.
