So the NPR, NBC, CBS, and ABC aren’t enough????
The irony is that Berine was talking on MSNBC which is the media arm of the Democratic party. And as for trying to recreate the success of talk radio, Bernie should go talk to the freshman senator from Minnesota about his failed radio channel.
He simply wants to control the media so he can control the public opinion. That is un-American
Consider the source as a self-proclaimed socialist says all this. No wonder the “moderates” who voted for hopeychangey are starting to get the message.
this is from hotair this morning.
Fairness Doctrine Raises Its Ugly Head Under New FCC “Diversity Czar”

The President should not be “taking on” any one. He is EVERYONE’s president. But we have the hard left cheering on a president who is divisive, polarizing and vindictive, and of course the conservatives stand in the way.
As Marx said, 20 to 30 percent of the people need to be eliminated, since they will never comply willingly.
Back in the ’70s, Vermont was a red state. Then people went far left, electing Jeffords and Sanders. Sanders isn’t independent; he’s a far left democrat. Home for me, was Montpelier, back then. Now, none of my family lives there. Along with Jeffords, Sanders wouldn’t get the time of day from me. The man is totally out of it.
this foolishness must be stopped and soon or we are not going to have a country that will remotely resemble the freedoms we currently have.
Calling all whaaaaaambulances! Nobody likes a liberal cry baby!
We have to get out to the townhall meetings, get to our elected representatives and get them to understand that these socalled “Czars” have to go the way of the dinosaur.
That’s all you need to hear. You have a RIGHT to health care, according to the wack-a-doodle socialists.
Don’t I have a right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? To me, that means I don’t have to pay for someone else’s health care. How about that, Karl?

WAAAH! Nobody will listen to me, willingly! WAAAAH! The Government needs to FORCE people to listen to me! WAAAAAH! The people are so stupid they don’t know what’s good for them! WAAAAH! The Government should FORCE what’s good for them on them!
You forgot CNN, MSNBC, etc.
It’s never enough for the liberals. Ahem, the socialists.
They basically already have state run media like the NYT’s, WaPo, Boston Globe. They want it all.
If we can just get one person to listen to liberal media we will have…one person listening!
Being a “socialist” isn’t so bad. Saunders gets re-elected by a state full of Green Mountain Americans. If you want to talk about nuts in the Senate, start with Inhofe. How many Republican Senators don’t believe in evolution?
PUTZ
There, I fixed it for poor Bernie, so deprived of media sycophants to flog his agenda.
[cry more, Bernie]
I saw that interview…He also told Rachel Maddow that they need more liberal talk shows!!!
She could have said, “yeah well I had one but no one tuned in!”They just have something wrong with their brains…..HMMMMMM
Do they even have brains???
lgm,
What does the belief or non-belief in evolution have to with freedom of speech?
WOW – coming from you lgm, that means…absolutely nothing. BAAWWAAAHHAAA!!!
According to nearly all the polls, Obama’s approval is BELOW 50% and trending down!
That’s incredible, considering we’re only six months into his term.
Does he honestly think he’s come up with some brilliant strategy? Every attempt to replicate the success of conservative media has met with dismal failure.. who wants to listen to “progressives” whine 24/7?
DBNinKY – yep, and I don’t think Obama will see the high early poll numbers again.
Agreed – and get the attempted thread deflection with an Inhofe-evolution reference!
he’s predictable if nothing else..we shall carry on with more worthwhile things on which to focus our attention.
So, you can hold up belief in a theory as a pre-requisite to what? serving in a political office?
Really?
Do you really wanna go there?
the two most pernicious ideas of the 19th century…evolution and marxism…go hand in hand, we live with the consequences today.
the eugenics movement, the mass murders of the communist movement, and the gas chambers of nazi germany…can be laid at the feet of these two atheistic ideas.
no wonder someone like LGM would be proud of the genocide, horror, and bloodshed these two ideas have given rise to.
Non-belief in evolution and support for creationism is far more important to alienating intelligent centrists than I believe most in the Republican Party realize.
It is the One Big Thing that stands as blatant evidence of brain dysfunction on the right.
It’s effect is to give the left a free pass to come up with all kinds of idiocy like AGW and a ‘living constitution’ and hate speech codes and banning guns, since they can always win the rationality argument (after all, if you have any doubts at all, whose judgment are you going to believe?) by pointing to creationism.
Intelligent centrists might not think the left is RIGHT about those issues, but at least they aren’t as ridiculously and obviously wrong as the believers in dino riders.
National socialist,
Soviet socialists,
Red China,
Pol pot,
Facist Italy,
Facist Spain,
Socialist yugoslavia…
naahhhh, not so bad.
Socialist Bernie Sanders is Peoples’ Evidence One that the Belt Way, New England and Liberals in general have nothing to do with America in general.
The hell with the middle east; the UNITED STATES needs a Two State Solution. Obviously there aren’t that many “Green Mountain Americans” left in Vermont-Green Mountain Americans would not be sitting on their butt waiting for a handout demanding Sam run their lives cradle to grave.
Let us not forget that that dangerous clown Howard Dean is also from Vermont.
in other words, if you’re not an atheist…shut up…nice.
oh and those ‘intelligent centrists’ ie moderates like specter I assume..right…oh yeah you can count on them!!!
Sorry too much lib crap on tv already
typical atheist moron.
It has nothing to do with atheism. It has to do with believing in dino riders and coming across as an ignorant nut.
No, don’t you understand…
There has to be total (as in totalitarian) consonance in the media.
There can’t be any conflicting voices.
Jeeeeezzzz… What are you people thinking…
yeah you do come across as an ignorant nut.
‘dino riders’ is typical atheist BS..like the ‘flying spaghetti monster’ you atheists think you’re just so clever when you’re just idiotic.
Green Mountain staters, huh.
Check out the welfare, drug abuse, and other indicators of how the old “independent and self-sufficient” tradition of Vermont is being lived today.
lgm is a volutary idiot. Let him be that.
Gotta two word rebuttal for the Inhofe attack…

Ragspierre said (#39):
Touche! (alas)
He doesn’t need more liberal media, theres plenty.
What they are lacking is an audience.
These socialists just don’t get it.
In a free market economy, people vote with their cash and their demand for the product. If it’s inferior or of little value to the consumer, they won’t buy.
Well, maybe they do get it. Their way is to force you to buy their product whether you want it or not. Health Care anyone?
“Belief” has no business in science.
Evolution is a theory, not a fact, because it is full of holes.
Here’s your homework LGM. If Evolution is correct, explain the arrival and the existence of sharks during the Devonian period.
They totally contradict one of the basic premises of Evolution. Can’twait to see your answer……
I agree with Sanders. Al Franken should resign from the Senate to become president of this new Network that no one will watch and companies like GE will initially poor millions into
Talk about a win-win.
It would be easier to believe in evolution if we could only point to you as an example.
I’m pretty sure a tarsier is further up the prosimian ladder…
Rats! Thanksalot Spacey! Now I have to go look that up!
…
Ooh! Nocturnal even!
Like a Lemur over a cliff.
BOO-freaking-HOO.Sorry,I couldn’t help myself.
The Socialist-Facist-Statist-Progressives(or whatever they are calling themselves this week),whine and moan about how they can’t get ratings on radio and t.v.They can’t understand that nobody wants to hear their nonsense.
They cry about “rich Republicans”like Rush, but don’t see that the reason people like Rush do so well is that they’re are better businessmen and have a better message.
I had to leave the boss out because I don’t think she is rich yet…but a few more BESTSELLERS will fix that.
Congratulations on the continued success of “Culture of Corruption”,Michelle.I hope you stay on top for a very long time.
If Bernie Sanders wants to know why there aren’t any liberals in talk radio he should try listening to that video. Even those two minute were painful. Any normal person that managed to listen to those snotty liberal windbags for two hours would want to plug his ears with super glue so as to not risk ever having to hear that garbage again.
lgm; how do you disqualify thousands of years of written history by explaining how people with blue eyes who have children won’t have brown eyed children? i get evolution, i get genes, but i can’t get why there are at least 3 distinct genomes of people (caucasion, black, oriental) and people who want to explain how black white and yellow monkeys all morphed the same way into these distinct peoples. why didn’t the yellow monkeys or the white monkeys keep their tails so they could more easily fetch food out of the trees?
freedom of religion does not mean freedom from religion. you liberals berate the bible thumping christians, but you spend inordinate time and money demanding that others not express their faith.
The liberal mantra repeated…
“It’s not fair! Waa-haa-haa-ha-a-a-a!”
How does one pick liberals out of the crowd?
Some clues:
a) they have a scowl on their face.
b) they are the ones wearing Che t-shirts
c) they let their hair grow…everywhere
d) they can’t express themselves without cursing, or using foul language
e) they put their children out front
f) most collect federal entitlement money
g) they are always the most vocal and angry
h) they are the ones that attend every protest against America, and conservative values, since they don’t work
i) their ranks are filled with unattractive people, with little or no self esteem
j) they frequently have fast food in their mouths, or on their clothing
k) they all support legalizing drug use
l) they talk about peace, but are the first ones to resort to violence
m) they always seem to exude desperation
n) they profess compassion, diversity, and color-blindness, but are the first ones to demonize by class, thought, or color
o) they profess their love of America, but their words and actions demonstrate just the opposite
p) they change the subject when they are losing an argument based on fact
q) they are the ones who never accept personal responsibility, and cast blame elsewhere
r) they hate guns, except when they’re used to kill U.S. servicemen, conservative politicians, or any other foe
s) they celebrate the death of conservative patriots/icons, but mourn the deaths of reprobates, traitors, and terrorists
t) they believe in choice, as long as that choice goes along with their ideology
Okay, now you know how I feel about liberals. Flag me to tears!
lol–Rogue; you remembered the lemur!
LOL
How could I forget my prehensile-tailed ancestors.
After all the efforts made by MSNBC to be that network, I’m surprised Rachel Maddow didn’t slap his face.
Another delicious irony in all this is that MSNBC would invite Sanders, a self-described socialist who supports Obama and his health care plan, to refute the “lie” that Obama is a socialist. That was very convincing, MSNBC!
Not any more. Now it’s controlled by refugees from Mass. and NY. escaping the messes they made of their own states. NH is the same way.
My Wife & I saved every penny we could,
Sold house & car.
Rented a u-haul & escaped Vermont when we were not allowed to vote on the same sex thing……..The wack jobs from NY “bernie sanders, howierd dean” & all his wack lib butt buddys infested the state…….
Very happy in THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS!!!!
GOD BLESS TEXAS!!!!!!!

Shooting for the 7,000 post mark.
Does this S-hole from Vermont understand the Market principle?
They had a liberal talk radio called Ari-America. It folded because people didn’t buy their baloney, and flat out vicious lies.
They have MSNBC, CNN, and the 3 broadcast networks, all of whom are loosing viewership, while Fox is reaching new heights.
They have NYT, LAT, WAPO, Time, Newsweek, and the likes in every major cities and towns; all of them are gasping for survival.
I guess they don’t teach at Yale, how to connect with the viewers / readers / listeners.
Message to Bernie:
A fool and his money doesn’t last long. Go ahead, and start a dozen liberal media outlets with money from your liberal cronies.
The only bigger con going right now that exceeds man made “global warming” …oops, I mean “climate change” (until that phrase loses steam) is the theory of evolution. The fact that someone like you, lgm, exists proves that evolution CAN’T be true. We’ll maybe you’re right. A cave-man Neanderthal brain like you is indeed missing-link evidence.
Wow, am I sooo sick of the condescending attitudes of people who don’t believe in God.
If you don’t want to believe in God, fine, no problem for me – that’s your (God given) right to choose your religion (or no religion at all). However, I’d appreciate it if the same respect was accorded going the other way to me, rather than insulting me and calling me an ignorant and/or crazy rube. (And what the crap is a ‘Dino-rider’?)
The truth is that it comes down to faith, no matter whether you believe or don’t believe in God. The first person that can irrefutably prove the existence or non-existence of God gets a cookie and hearty thank you from me. I’m not holding my breath, though.
Since I’m not arguing for or against God, but trying to open the minds of LGM and Roland, I’ll throw out some counter-arguments. LGM and Roland refute them if you can…
The non-believers usually do believe in the Big Bang and Evolution. They hold this up as proof of everything just happening by chance, no God, ect.
1. Big Bang. One of the fundamentals of logic is causality (this leads to that, and so on, ergo…). So, what caused the big bang? What was there before it? what created that previous stuff? And so on, to infinity. So, you’ve got yourself stuck there – the material/energy is eternal (and the universe is an infinite spacial closed system that conserves those things). When you are talking about infinity on a Cosmic scale (in both time and space) that steps outside of the logic of causality and requires faith to believe it since they are immeasurable by us interior to the system. Please disprove that this must be taken on faith by either (a) finding and proving the existence of a non-God created prime event, or by (b) proving that the universe is infinite in both time and space. Just to make clear the difference between proof and assertion, saying X scientist said/theorized/thought is not proof. As LGM says in class: “please show your work.”
2. Evolution. Putting aside the holes and flaws of the Theory, and just chalking it up to working on it (instead of saying that it has failed to establish clear proof of causality = theory/not fact), right now you can’t prove that evolution did happen. Here’s one to chew on: if God is omnipotent and omniscient and could create all that is, could God not have created everything with a built-in history (like dinosaurs in the ground, motion of the stars, expansion of the universe, etc.)? Something like that wouldn’t be beyond God. For believers in evolution, prove that this didn’t happen; For believers in God, prove that it did. Tough one for either side, but its a theory… Oh yeah, saying that the bible didn’t say God did it isn’t proof either way(the bible didn’t say what God did on the 8th day, or last Tuesday, either, but that doesn’t mean that nothing was done, so it just means its a gap in knowledge). Guess we’ll just have to take in on faith that the Theory of Evolution will all work out… or not.
In the final analysis, science has made as many (maybe more) mistakes as religion (phrenology, bleeding the sick, etc.). So is science still working on it (the big T, Truth), trying to improve? You bet. Does science have all the answers right now? You’d be a fool to bet on that one. So, you take it on faith that science is going to validate what you think now… Science has a way of revising and changing according to the data and the facts. Good luck with it not pointing in the future to you being a fool for believing whatever the “science of the day” says now.
To reiterate, I’m not trying to prove the existence of God or not; I’m saying there are other positions/theories out there that can be held just as strongly because no one *knows*. At least one side acknowledges it has beliefs predicated on faith. The other side closes its mind and in its own intellectual hubris, hurls insults at the other.
Oh, and BTW, for any personal attacks or false assertions about what I’m trying to say or not say, I’ll fall back on that venerable second-grade “rubber-glue” defense, rather than throwing up another wall of text to refute someone who obviously is not of good will.
I am not LGM. I have no problem with people who believe in God. It is never my intention to insult non-literalist Christianity, which I regard as a Great Good in the world.
However, young Earth creationism is nuts. That is a fact, not an insult. Young Earth creationism is pathological denial of reality. It is a dangerous pathology due to how many people believe it.
Even intelligent design is not science, although it might well be true.
All of your arguments about evolution are flawed by a misunderstanding of what science is and is not. Evolution IS a theory. It’s the best theory that has been presented as to HOW God did it. Science is about figuring out how God did it. That is what science IS. It is not about saying “God did it” whenever you can’t prove something. That is exactly what science is not.
The same thing applies to the General Theory of Relativity. That theory cannot be ‘proved’ either. In fact, it has big, gaping holes in it. It’s just the best working model anyone has yet designed for describing how that aspect of reality actually works.
BTW, A believer in dino riders is someone who believes humans and dinosaurs coexisted.
