LGM:

Maybe there should be a minimum number of murders — say ten. A President causing more than ten people to be murdered could be compared to Hitler.

LOL. Of course you are kidding. In all seriousness, anytime anyone makes a Hitler comparison when talking about a politician in a civilized democracy it's always way off base. It instantly makes the person doing the comparison cede credibility a la Godwin. This is true for both sides.

lgm alluded to THE ONE’s enforcement of law, as though that were a virtue.

The President took an oath to enforce the law.

Nazis on trial at Nuremberg ...

There should be a minimum standard for the crime necessary to be compared to Hitler. Enforcing possibly ill considered environmental legislation that possibly foolishly prevents digging a coal mine is not the same as murdering millions of people. Not even close.

Maybe there should be a minimum number of murders -- say ten. A President causing more than ten people to be murdered could be compared to Hitler. Between 2 and 9 the comparison could be to Pol Pot. A single murder could get at most an Arafat comparison.

To show my solidarity, I'm going to buy 2 gallons of bleach and pour them into the nearest lake. Then, I'm going to crush every snail I can find.

Just a quick thought...

lgm alluded to THE ONE's enforcement of law, as though that were a virtue.

Nazis on trial at Nuremberg cited to the law as a defense. It didn't work.

No administration can possible enforce all the laws on the federal books. That is one of the MANY reasons we need a much smaller central government. Each must assign a hierarchy of law they will attempt to enforce.

THE ONE has elected to NOT enforce MANY laws...the Constitution chief among them. They have affirmatively VIOLATED MANY laws, including the most fundamental contract and bankruptcy laws.
