It’s some of the best. Big leaf maple has a high sugar content so it imparts a sweet smokey flavor. The indians used the sap to make maple sugar.

I also had three trees milled into lumber to use in the house we built. We wrapped the windows and used it in the doorways.

I am really disappointed that the Sunday news shows decided that the release of the Lockerbie bomber was not important.

That is their spin I guess–Big names of media do not fly commerial.
But then the Sunday News Shows are not all that important except in their own minds.

There was a deal here and I find it hard to believe that the British are so greedy and cynical that they would sell their souls for so cheap. Obama’s relative silence on this issue speaks volumes about the likelihood that we had a role in this.

After reading British blogs, newspapers, and commentary for years, I have to say that, with a few exceptions, the British have become just as villainous, backstabbing, and as greedy as the French.

They hate us. And we should be well rid of Europe, a dead man walking.

I’ve read them too, for a long time, and have watched a society fall into a gigantic pool of “pc” and “touchy/feely” laws. Some laws are truly outragous. Their hospitals and medical care are so bad, I would refuse to work there, regardless of pay.

Hearing news reports that Bernie Madoff has cancer and is running his incarcerated mouth about it. Infuriating.

Why? Because this isnt a coincidence. The cancer might be, but the blabbling about it is not. This is a pathetic attempt to try to rouse sympathy for Madoff vis a vis the Lockerbie bomber being released from jail to return home to Libya to die, presumably, of prostate cancer.

Thankfully that travesty of justice is Scottish law, not USA law, so technically no American legal precedent was set by the Lockerbie case. Still, Madoff has enough money to hire some lawyers to waste the system’s time with appeals, citing that, like the Lockerbie bomber sub-human, Madoff is dying of cancer. Surely then, “COMPASSION” dictates that Madoff be released from prison to be allowed to die at home. I mean, he didnt kill 270 people – he just swindled billions!
